The skies were pitch black as little snowflakes danced under the streetlights - it was early december. You sat on the couch curled up under a blanket, you read your favourite book -

“i’m home” Duncans voice echoed throughout the apartment-

“i’m in the living room” you called out

Duncan walked into the living room while holding a brown neatly folded flower package-

“what’s that?” you looked up from your book and smiled

Duncan let go of your hand and walked towards your vintage record player - he started the music - a quiet jazz song played from the old speaker-

you were caught off guard - “what? right now?”

Duncan held his hand out for you to take - you looked up into Duncans eyes - those soft baby blues flashed brightly at you, how could you ever say no-

you took Duncans hand and waltzed around the room to Frank Sinatra - it felt like something out of a movie. Butterflies floated throughout your tummy and Duncan spun you around the room -

Duncans fingers brushed against your skin on your lower back - his fingertips were cold which sent shivers up your spine -

“duncannn” you giggled

“mhm” Duncan leaned in and kissed your forehead gently - “y/n”

Duncan came to a stop and let go of your hands - he took a deep breathe - “you know i’m not really the romantic type - but” he paused and knelt down on one knee - “there’s something i need to ask you” he spoke softly and looked up at you - Duncan pulled a small tiffany blue box out of his blazer pocket - “y/n y/l/n - will you -marry me”

your mouth dropped open slightly and tears started to build in your eyes - “yes yes yes a thousand times yes”

a smile ripped across Duncans face - he quickly opened the box - within the white background of the box sat an oval shaped diamond ring, it was breathtaking.

a smirk grew across duncans lips - “i knew it”

duncan had one arm around your back and the other under your knees - his fingertips brushed lightly against your skin - it sent shivers up your spine and caused you to hold on to him tightly. your head dropped onto duncans shoulder - all the liquor was hitting you fast, you could feel your head spin.

“we’re almost to the car baby”

you flexed your foot up - “i cant feel my toes”

“don’t worry i’ll put the heat on” duncan laughed.

when duncan and you reached the car he set you down and unlocked the doors - he opened the passenger door for you.

“thank you donut” you smiled

duncan leaned down and kissed your lips gently - “it’s my pleasure baby”

duncan walked around to the driver side and got into the car - he started the car and turned the heat on for you.

duncan started to drive home from the gala his parents hosted - it was a few hours away from home, but duncan always drove so smoothly.

duncan put on cruise control and reached his hand over setting it on your knee -

“warm?” duncan asked as he ran his hand up your thigh

you tilted your head and smiled - “very warm” as you were cuddled into duncans coat

“good” - duncan smiled as he rubbed your thigh.

It was a friday night, Jim and you decided to stay in and watch a movie together - he finally let you choose which movie to watch, you picked your favourite movie and snuggled next to Jim-

“popcorn?”

You bit your bottom lip and smiled - “sounds yummy”

Jim got off of the couch and went to make popcorn

You could smell the popcorn - you could hear the popping sounds, it was almost relaxing

“think fast” - Jim yelled as he threw a few pieces of popcorn at you

“JIM” you laughed - “don’t waste the popcorn” you gathered the few pieces and ate them

As the movie started Jim wrapped his around around your shoulder - you could feel his heat radiating off of him - and the smell of his cologne, god he smelt like heaven.

As the movie played you could feel your eyes getting heavy - you were so relaxed in Jim’s arms.

“hey - no falling asleep”

“i’m not - i swear” you laughed

“mhm”

You laid your head on Jim’s shoulder and he placed his on top of yours - after 10 minutes went by you could hear soft snores leave Jims lips-

“jimmy” you nudged your head up slightly

“i’m awake”

You laughed “sureee you are” you could hear the sleep in Jim’s voice - “let’s go to bed baby” you lifted your head

Jim nodded and got up - he extended his hand out to you

“come on, i’ll carry you”

Can I get more dad Michael with his daughter when she’s younger !! That was just so adorable

“Daddy I wanna be an angel for Halloween” Lilith whined as she held up angels wings at a costume store

Michael’s eyes went wide - “an angel?? Why not little devil?”

Lilith furrowed her brows - “no daddy I wanna be an angel”

Michael laughed - he reached up and picked out Lilith’s size in the angel costume -

“One little angel for my beautiful babygirl”

Lilith smiled - she reached her small hands up to grab the costume - “I’m going to be the prettiest angel” Lilith smiled

Michael took Lilith’s hand, and walked towards the check out-

“Wait daddy what are you going to be?” Lilith asked - she stopped dead in her tracks and looked up at Michael.

Michael took a deep breath and looked down at Lilith

“What do you want me to be baby?”

Lilith put her hand under her chin - “hmmmm, Daddy can you be an angel with me?” Lilith asked with a smile

Michael nearly choked on the air -

“An angel?” Michael knelt down to be eye level with Lilith - “lily-bug, daddy’s not an angel, maybe we can pick something else”

Lilith crossed her arms - “no daddy, it’s a make believe night and I want you to be an angel with me” Lilith gritted her teeth and stopped her foot

Michael didnt want to upset Lilith - he was a little scared that Lilith would have rage inside her like he did -

“Fine, daddy will be an - an - angel”

Lilith had a huge smile - “really daddy” she yelled and wrapped her little arms around Michael’s neck - “thank you daddy”

Michael hugged Lilith back - he picked her up and carried her towards the adult costumes
