Ryan Gainer was a 15 year old Autistic Black boy who was shot and killed by police in California.

Ryan seemed to have been having a meltdown, he was holding a gardening tool, police were called to the house but they are refusing to release any body cam footage of the shooting and refusing to state how many times Ryan was shot, they failed to help him before the paramedics arrived.

After shooting him Ryan's family was then forced out of their home while the police rummaged through their house looking for any justifiable cause for shooting Ryan.

This is hardly the first time the San Bernardino police department has attacked or killed people having a mental health crisis.

Rest in Power Ryan.

STOP CALLING THE POLICE ON DISABLED AND MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE!

Every mainstream media outlet imaginable wants you to know that Israel has just re-opened the Erez border, thereby allowing aid through it for the first time since October 7. The White House released a statement saying that it’s delighted to hear this news. It’s a great improvement from previous arrangements, reports state.

What they fail to mention is that now 30% of all Palestinian children under 2 in Gaza are malnourished, that the death toll has surpassed 33k, and that the US—the same superpower that’s telling Israel to protect the civilians—has signed off billions in weapons to Israel not even a month ago.

It’s extremely aggravating to me when people are tone-deaf enough to celebrate “small wins” like this. Biggest thing is, we don’t know how many trucks Israel will grant access. In February it was as little as 14 trucks a day, which is not enough considering Gaza is now suffering mass starvation. Not only that, but this also came in light of a majority white convoy being targeted, which angered Israel’s allies—and is ultimately what forced them into opening this border up. This is still not and never has been about the devastation in Gaza. This is about PR—and also about the US asserting its influence over Israel. None of this reads as humane or with good intention to me.

And finally—and this is what I think makes me the angriest—this is proof that the US could have stopped it all much sooner if they wanted to. I already know this will be people’s go-to for defending their decision to vote for the verminous, blood-soaked war criminal that is Biden (and when I say Biden, I mean him and his genocidal administration equally). What they fail to realize is it’s actually the very proof that the US has been complicit in this all along, that it willingly chose to infantilize itself and play wary ally that has to tiptoe around Israel. It’s disgusting, it’s duplicitous, and it’s unforgivable. This is not getting any thanks from me, and I question anyone who chose to celebrate this move rather than see it for what it really is.

The thing is... Israel admitted to this from the very beginning.

They said the confessions were obtained through 'interrogation' in the Shin Bet aka torture (Shin Bet is where they like to torture Palestinian prisoners for intel) so every country that cut funding to the UNRWA knew from the beginning that Israel was using false forced statements.

The famine in Gaza is partly due to this. Never forget that.

Seeing footage of the aftermath of the flour massacre in Gaza is so painful

"Where is my daughter? Tell her I don't want flour anymore"

"My brother was shot holding a bag of flour. He kept holding on to it so they kept shooting him"

"Why does flour have to be stained with blood?"

Over 100 have been killed. Every single one of them hungry. Every single one of them has someone waiting for them to come back with the bag of flour.

Israel is using starvation as a weapon of war against innocent civilians. Israel ambushes starving Palestinians and shoots them. Israel is not fighting a war to defend itself. This is another episode of Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza.

These updates are fucking insane. Israeli forces are currently besieging 3 hospitals: al-Amal Hospital, Nasser Hospital, and Shifa Hospital. They even executed a doctor, Muhammad al-Nono, for refusing to leave his patients, while a PCRS worker was killed in the al-Amal shelling (they are terrorizing these hospitals all at the same time). A Palestinian woman relayed that other women have been rounded up from Shifa hospital and subjected to rape and torture. There are also accounts of Christian Palestinians being denied access to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday—all while Israeli settlers stormed al-Aqsa Mosque on this same Sunday. My heart is aching for these Palestinians. So devastating there are no words.

84 Palestinians separately killed in a series of Massacres throughout Gaza.

Honestly the reason I only liked and didn’t love the live action is because the script writing and directing (two very important aspects) were not good - but the casting, costuming and cgi were exceptional for an adaption. It looked so beautiful but sounded so hollow (like they were just reading off a bad script trying to get from point A to point B, there was no sincerity or spirit at all). If only the original creators had more of a say in the script and direction, it really is a shame they left, this could’ve been so much better. I don’t blame the actors at all, they all had so much potential (based on their previous work and off-screen personalities).

There aren't words right now to express how angry I am. Literally crying. And finding out that not only did they snub Lily, but they snubbbed her for an actress who had to apologize for portraying an Indigenous Hawaiian character just makes it so much worse. Indigenous people deserve better. This should have been history making, but no, they're going to keep going with the so white she glistens like Edward Cullen woman. I shouldn't be surprised and yet...
