Pages from a 9 year old’s Grimoire✨ (not that I knew what that was yet)

9 year old me decided the most useful information I could ever write down was the teas my mother knew and their properties - if I could get past the handwriting and the fact that I’m spelling like it’s the 1500s, herbalism and tea properties is still one of the areas I’m most interested in now! ✨

Might bring back the stickers in my current grimoires though…🍄🦉🦝

When it comes to deity work, it’s always enough for you to just do your best. And sometimes your best is constantly offering your deity waffles for a week straight.

Okay, y'all - stop sending me DMs about healing magic and herbal remedies. It's great for some things! Sore throats, coughs, some aches and pains, headaches, trouble sleeping... for stuff like that, essential oils and teas are great! Eucalyptus for me is wonderful for a realizing shower after a really bad anxiety attack. But please, please, there is a difference between using honey to soothe a cough and claiming essential oils are going to replace antibiotics.

Witchcraft isn't going to heal your pneumonia, depression, or cancer.

Herbal teas are not going to stop your surgical incision from getting infected.

Witchy remedies arent going to make your tattoo heal faster than recommended aftercare.

Listen to your doctor, nurse, piercer, or artist.

Take your antibiotics, antidepressants, and prescriptions.

And stop telling people that tea and tonics are going to cure them. You are not their specialist!

This is a very pro-medicine blog! Take your medicine! Go to a clinic!

And for the last fucking time: honey tea is good for sore throats but medication is for step throat!

Witchcraft isn't going to magically heal you. It's just not. Some things are beyond the effect of spells and incantations.

If you don't agree, I don't have time for you. Block me. Or even better, comment, and I'll block you. I don't want your bullshit on my page. There are baby witches here who are learning and easily influenced and I will not have them influenced by the likes of you.

Baby witches: do not listen to those who think 100% of human ailments can be cured herbally and magically. That is false. Take care of yourself at all costs and don't listen to that. Listen to your specialists, doctors, and psychologists, especially if you have mental illnesses since those seem to be targeted most.

This has been a very frustrated and aggressive public service announcement.

I finished it!! Here’s my Mabon Mug recipe 😌🍂☕️

Ingredients (for two servings):

Water

1 apple

A tiny tiny bit of your favorite mixer alcohol (rhum, red wine, etc)

Cloves (i put like 5-6 I mean depends on how much you like them)

Vanilla extract

Two chai tea packets

Honey

Cinammon

Salt

Brown sugar

(I added rose water but ik it’s hard to find in other areas so it’s obviously not mandatory 😭)

Steps:

1. Grind the apple into pulp

2. Boil a good amount of water (enough for two mugs) and add the chai tea to infuse for 4 minutes

3. Add the other stuff, go crazy with everything you like most! (I mixed the whole thing with a cinammon stick bc i’m freaky like that)

4. As you stir, thank Mother Nature for everything she’s blessed us with and tell her everything that you’re grateful for. As you sip the mix, think of the wishes you hope will come true during the winter and humbly ask her to bless you for another cold season. Enjoy!

Cleansing✨

Cleansing is a way to remove unwanted energies from a person, place or an object. This is quite a gentle process and is not forceful when removing the spirits. This process ensures that you and your surroundings are free from energies or spirits that could harm or disturb you.

Ways to cleanse: 🤍Smoke cleansing- You can use sage since its best but you can use cedar, palo, incense, santo etc. also work! Light your herb bundle and then blow off the smoke, after that you have to waft the smoke over what you want to cleanse. This allows the negative energy to become free flowing energy again. 🤍Water cleansing- You can cleanse anything using water by washing, soaking or bathing it! Another way is to fill a spray bottle with charged water and misting a room with it. 🤍Sound cleansing- Any type of instruments are all capable of removing unwanted energies. 🤍Salt/Earth cleansing- Burying and object for 12-24 hours will work. 🤍Moon/Sun cleansing- The Moon or The Sun can be used to cleanse or charge any object. Keeping moon phases in mind is necessary. How to know when to cleanse: 🤍When a tool or room feels off.

🤍When a tool or room comes in contact with negative energy.

🤍When your mind tells you its time.

I needed to find Filianism because when looking for the divine feminine in Christianity or even Gnosticism it was always "Mother OF God" or "Bride OF Christ" or "God's Wife", meanwhile the divine masculine was just "God" or "Christ", they were referred to by titles they held in their own right, not their relationship to their feminine counterparts.
