EDIT: HER HEIGHT IS ACTUALLY 5'4 ft (which it 1.65m), I don't even know where I got the 6'0 ft x'D) so I came back and replaced the drawing with the right height, I'm sorry ;x;

I have an official reference sheet for Marín! I made it not only for all of you, but for myself too because I haven't been consisten in her design. ;w;

*INCOMING RANT*

I've been changing quite often things about her and it's largely because many people seem to confuse her with Portia when I do uncolored sketches of Marín which, to be honest, made me very sad... Some of you might know that Marín is a self-insert so she's heavily based on my appearance and personality, seeing that her design made her look like a Portia's copy was kinda frustrating for me, but also this was a good opportunity to add a little bit of my culture in her clothing, that's why she has that embroidery in her shirt now that is inspired by typical Mexican embroidered flowers 💐💕

Maybe it was good that I received those comments, that way I can bring you all something more original.

Hopefully this will help and I'm sorry for my rant, thank you for reading this far, y'all amazing and I appreciate a lot your constant support 💖✨

(forgot to add in the physical characteristics that her hair is curly and tied with a ribbon in a half ponytail xD I hope the drawing is clear enough)

Okay but for anyone who legit wants to know how to calculate it correctly:

The elbow joint on average rests a couple inches higher than the navel, so if you measure how long the distance is from the middle of the shoulder to that point then you have the length of the upper and fore arms!

So if anyone’s wondering about legs too, the simplest rule of thumb is that the length from the top of the leg to the knee is equal to the distance between the top of the leg and the bottom of the pectorals:

And I wanna stress that when i say “top of the leg” i’m not talking about the crotch (please don’t flag me tumblr it’s an anatomical term) i’m talking about the point where the femur connects to the pelvis, which is higher up on the hips:

It’s easier to see what I’m talking about in this photo of a man squatting:

So yeah if you use that measurement when using this technique you should get fairly realistically proportioned legs:

But remember! messing with proportions is an important and fun part of character design! Know the rules first so you can then break them however you please!

Like they seem personally offended by the quality and they start ranting to M6 about how bad it was and what they would do to fix it. How would M6 react to this?
