I believe it's safe to say that, much like Carl in the main scenario, Ada would be left absolutely devastated, her face pale and cold. To see her brother's corpse lying in pieces, mangled in a half-finished experiment? It would traumatize the girl for the rest of her life.

The rest would all depend on Ada's engineering skills, if she has those. Assuming she is able to cobble Carl together, it's safe to say she'd bring the both of them to their aunt and uncle's house to stay the night.

Now, the next steps are where things get murky. Ada's older and more mature than Carl, and seems less emotionally volatile, as well as less aggressive. The way I see it, Ada loves her parents deeply, and seems more likely to question Relius rather than immediately seek revenge. Carl loves him as well, but Ada feels like the type to be more in touch with and understanding of her own emotions. More calm, more patient.

That said, Ada does have a seeming fascination with the morbid and macabre, and probably isn't as innocent-minded as someone like Celica. It's very possible as well that she might harbor resentment towards Relius much like Carl does. Not to mention, she might blame Hazama/Terumi for corrupting her father, and seek to eliminate him instead. All the same, I doubt she'd approach the situation with the same haste Carl does. I imagine that if Ada holds any anger, it would be even quieter and more seemingly serene than that of her brother. Nirvana (or whatever the Carl version may be) may very well cloud her mind as well...

I am so, so fed up with all conversation about Carl being absolutely dominated by "He's becoming like his father", and no one giving a shit about anything else. I make disclaimers. I say that I don't like the direction his story went. I say that I want to make things different. I say that I like mid-series Carl best, where he's kind of a good guy. And what do I get?

Just a constant barrage of "Carl's going off the deep end, I wonder if he'll become an antagonist in the future? I wonder what he'll do now that he has the eye and is becoming his father?" no matter what I say. My concerns are even dismissed sometimes with "If you want to feel sad, think about Ragna, or Litchi, or Rachel, or whoever" as if I'm not allowed to worry about this boy that everyone's basically abandoned, and Mori ruined for the sake of a cheap plot twist.

I swear, I feel no one gives a shit about Carl these days, and I remember back when CF's Clover plot twists with him were reacted to with shock and horror or "Fuck this I'm done" or "This is character assassination". Now it seems like everyone's accepted it. Everyone but me, I guess. Am I out of touch? I feel so alone...

I wonder if I should have left this series behind when I had the chance, and not let it stay in the back of my head rent-free?
