I will no longer be posting on this blog. I’ve thought about it and have tried to stick it out for some time, but I just don’t have the drive or the time to dedicate myself to it like I did when I first started. Thank you all so very much for your support and patience. I will always remember the fun times I had here. I wish you all well. Goodbye.
I know its been years, but I don't wanna give up on Rise of the Guardians. I still believe that if the fans keep drawing art and making posts, we might get a show or a sequel.
I've been binge-watching Lizzie Mcguire on Disney+, and it's just as good as I remember it. I heard that we were supposed to be getting a new series, but I haven't heard any updates about it since. I hope they don't give up on the show. I want to see the cast back together again.
While I love the Gran Fiesta Tour at Epcot, I eventually would like to see it get replaced with a Coco ride. The movie itself was visually beautiful, and the story had a good message. I think Disney could pull it off. After all, they did replace Maelstrom with a Frozen ride.
Last night I had a dream Sleeping Beauty had a crossover with Greek Mythology. Maleficent gave Aurora powers to help defeat Persephone, and Aurora became the Queen of The Underworld.
Never have I related to a Disney quote more than Mrs. Pots saying "the poor girl has lost her father and her freedom all in one day". I can't visit my dad because of the virus and quarantine that keeps getting extended. Worse, instead of someone I can eventually find some common ground with and share an epic ballroom dance with or friendly talking housewares, I'm stuck with an overbearing selfish woman who calls herself my mother (which she, unfortunately, is biologically).
All jokes and memes aside, Shrek and Shrek 2 were masterpieces. They're so unique and so creative and so genuinely funny without resorting to little kid humor. There's nothing lazy or forced about them. More movies, animated and live-action, need to take notes.

To the #Blackout Community and Tumblr at large,
We know you must have a lot of questions or are feeling distressed about the news. The world has been dealing with a lot this year, and it is an especially harrowing time for Black Americans and Black folks abroad. We know your biggest question right now could be summed up by a quote from Toni Morrison:
“What can I do where I am?”
Here at #TheBlackout, we have decided to help you start finding an answer to that question - we feel that we need each other. We need unity, organization, a clear sense of direction, but more importantly, a space where you can be yourself without judgement or fear.
So, in addition to boosting your art and businesses, our highest priority right now is to provide you all with resources to help you start from where you are.
This is a masterpost of places you can donate, find mental health + spaces for radical self-care, and just do something fun. We will be adding on as things change.

Update (5/30/2020 4:41 PM EST): Our original post included a memorial link to Tony McDade. We corrected the link to an ongoing petition. As of this posting, there is no official memorial fund collections for Tony McDade.
hello, please look through these links as they regularly updated! please take a look at these and do what you can to help! #BLACKLIVESMATTER
if you cannot donate, please watch these videos through its entirety and do not skip any of the ads! they are videos focused on cases that were the result of police brutality, racism, and systematic racism! all proceeds that are made from these videos will be donated to various BLM & protester protection funds.
while protestors are out on the streets asking justice for breonna taylor's murder, louisville law enforcement has senselessly murdered another black man, david mcatee. he was the owner of a bbq restaurant and he was literally at the protests feeding people when he was killed after law enforcement blindly shot into a crowd!! his family says he was shot while trying to protect his niece!! he was known to feed police officers for free!! he was a good, kind man! say his name!!
important reminder that his murder occurred a 10 minute drive (or approx. 40 min walk) away from the protest sites... in a black neighborhood. his body was left out in the streets for nearly 12 hours. the officers who shot him were not wearing / did not activate their body cameras... so there is no evidence of the shooting.
you can sign a petition to bring justice to david and his family, by requesting the louisville mayor to take appropriate action by making sure the killer is identified and arrested.
Blackout Tuesday! ⚫️✊🏾
Some tips for those of you who are protesting just to stay safe. Please remember to cover all of your tattoos, piercings, and really any recognizable features you may have. Turn your location off so no one can track you and have atleast two written emergency contacts.
If the police begin utalizing tear gas use a combination of 50% water and 50% Maalox/liquid antacid).
For pepper spray use dawn dish soap and water, vegetable oil, or milk in a spray bottle.
***edit: please feel free to add more tips and make sure to read the comments for helpful additions!

ways to support the blm movement
- this google doc includes a list of petitions to sign, resources to help educate yourself and others, organizations to donate to, and contacts of law officials to get in touch with to express your support for the george floyd and black lives matter movements. this includes ways to help even if you don’t live in america. please read it and support the movement.
- use your voice. use every platform you have, no matter how big or how small. nothing will change if you just sit there and watch. if you think you’re the exception, you’re not. remaining indifferent will only support the oppressor. do something.
- write to your legal representatives. express your support for legislation that would bring justice to the unarmed civilians who’ve been murdered by law enforcement officers. demand for justice.
- call 612-324-4499 ㅡ this is a hotline that will coach you on how to get connected with the people who can arrest the officers that murdered george floyd.
- create serious conversation. stop demeaning people who disagree with your philosophies on how to overcome. it is useless and no better than the practices of the oppressor to silence. we need to listen to each other with respect and really consider how we can combine our perspectives to create practical change.
please feel free to add any links or resources or information that you think will be helpful and also reblog to spread awareness. the systems we are fighting against were literally created to oppress marginalized communities and therefore will not go down without a fight. we need to collectively stand up and do something about it.
Another twitter donation, it’s Lance from Voltron!
