Han Solo x Reader

Don’t you just love my obsession?! lol. Glad I got you hooked! lol

“Are you sure you have to go back?” Luke asked, furrowing his brows as he sat across from you. 

You slowly nodded, as you glanced over to Han, who was looking down at his feet, mumbling something to himself. 

“Yes.” You whispered. 

Han felt his stomach drop.

“Well, I am going to miss you.” Luke smiled and pulled you in for a quick hug. 

“I will miss you too. But don’t worry, I will visit.” 

Luke nodded, and left you alone with Han, who wouldn’t look up. Not once. 

“Are you not going to say goodbye?” You asked. 

He let out a sigh, crossing his arms over his chest. “Goodbye, Princess.” He grunted. 

Han turned his back to you and started toward the door, until you let out a huff. 

“So thats it, huh? Thats all I get from you. Just a lousy goodbye?” You shook your head. Since the day he and the others rescued you from the Emperor’s second in command, Darth Vader, you were drawn to Han. And you couldn’t help but feel a connection between you two. 

“I ain’t going to be all mushy, sweetheart. If you want to go, then go!” 

Your eyes welled with tears as his words engraved into you, leaving a mark of heartbreak. “you don’t have to be a-a jerkface!” You stated, growing with rage.

He let out a chuckle, and pointed to himself. “I’m the jerkface?” He breathed. “I’m not the one whose leaving the group behind, you are.”

“I need to go back to my planet. I need to return home. I have nothing here for me.” You stated. 

Han was taken aback as his mouth slightly opened. “Nothing here for you? So what am i, chop liver?” He groaned. 

He shook his head, as he paced back and forth, mumbling to himself. 

You weren’t sure what do, or even say. You have never seen Han so angry, and hurt. It was hard to see him this way.

“It’s funny. I remember you telling me you wouldn’t leave. You promised me.” He locked his gaze with yours, and pursed his lips. “But you lied. You’re a liar.”

You stormed over to him, feeling as if he had just betrayed you. “How dare you. I am not a liar. I just-” You stopped yourself, afraid to tell him the real reason why you were leaving. 

“What? Do you miss being pampered to and have someone beckon to your every need? Well Princess, if thats the case, the door is wide open.” He motioned to the door. 

You bit on your bottom lip, refraining from the truth. Fearing what would come out of it if he knew. Instead, you sighed and started toward the door. 

Han let out an annoyed laugh, masking the pain he felt deep inside. “And this is why I don’t let anyone in.” He exclaimed. “You all leave. Every single one of you.” 

You could hear how much he hurt from the tone of his voice, and it killed you. Turning on your heels, you slowly walked back over to him. “I don’t want to Leave. Don’t you get that? I am leaving because I have seen the way Leia looks at you. And I can’t even compare to her.” Your voice shook. “I cant watch you two fall in love. It will destroy me.” 

He swallowed hard, as he gazed into your eyes for moment, before glancing down at his feet. Han was torn. He knew he couldn’t deny the slight attraction he had for Leia, but it never compared to the feelings he had for you. 

His silence became all you needed. You took in a deep breath, “Goodbye.” You whispered. As you turned away, a tear shed from your eye, staining your cheek. 

Han snapped his gaze to you, wishing he could run after you, say something to stop you. But he couldn’t. He was frozen. 

The moment you were no longer visible, and Han was left alone, it hit him like a wave. 

“Son of a bitch.” He mumbled to himself. 

It snapped him out of his trance, and he sprinted out of the ship. “Y/N!” He called out. 

You were just about to hop onto your speeder, you heard the familiar voice. 

Han ran out to you, and as you turned to see what was going on, he cupped your face and crashed your lips with his. Catching you by surprise. 

“Thought you could leave without a goodbye Kiss?” He smiled.

You resisted the need to roll your eyes in response, despite the pain pumping through your veins.

“I did not come here to fight. I’m looking for someone.”

“You’re looking for someone?” He repeated unbelievingly. “Listen, the First Order—“

“No, wait… I think I know who that is. She was with Kylo Ren.” You recognised the man speaking. His name was Poe Dameron. The First Order had kidnapped and interrogated him a few years back, on the Finalizer.

“So she’s a Sith?!”

“Yeah, she’s a Sith. Go get Rey. I think I know who she’s looking for.”

Back then, you had not chosen your fate, not chosen to become a Sith and have the most powerful man in the galaxy—back then the Commander of the First Order—teach you the ways of the Force. But you had chosen to become lovers, had chosen, on that very fateful night during your training, to kiss. To act on the growing bond between you.

You’re nothing.

Shakily, you gripped the door knob to your shared room, your heart beating faster then normal.

Nothing but a distraction.

Kylo had said those words - to you.

And for a long time, you’d been hurt. Beyond hurt. Heartbroken. You’d left, it was too hard to be near the face of the man you loved but didn’t seem to care for you back. 

But as time passed, and you thought of the day more and more, you realized maybe you hadn’t assessed the situation properly. You two had fought, almost for too long - both of you hadn’t been thinking straight. And you knew Kylo’s temper could sometimes get the better of him.

So you hoped - prayed - that what he said had been out of anger and not the truth.

You took a deep breath and steadied yourself.

When you opened the door, Kylo was there just like you had expected him to be. And almost as if he’d been waiting for you, Kylo spun around, standing within seconds the moment he saw you. 

“Y/N…”

You weren’t sure what to say - was there even anything to say?

“I need to…” You whispered, too scared to meet his eyes. “I need to know if what you said is true. If you really… think of me-”

Kylo didn’t even let you finish before he made his way across the room to you. Though he knew better, and stopped just before reaching. Kylo had never been good at saying sorry - hell, he could barely express a functional emotion. But he knew what he had to do.

“No.” Kylo whispered, shaking his head and your eyes widened. “No, you’re not nothing.”

You gazed up at him, your heart swelling with relief. Meeting his gaze, Kylo looked scared and afraid. “Not to me.”

Taking a step forward, you hesitantly reached out to cup is face. Kylo immediately leaned into it. “I’m sorry.” He whispered.

And you smiled, shaking your head - what you had wished came true.

“It’s fine.”
