🍂 Day 23 of My Autumn Studying Challenge 🍂
23rd October - Walk in the woods or read a book in front of the fire?
in previous years, this would have been a very easy answer for reading a book in front of the fire but i’ve really been loving going for walks recently so this is kinda hard now… but i think i’m going to have to still pick reading in front of a fire because it always so lovely!
so much to do

proof that I own more than that one dotted mug that's in all my pictures (it's my favourite one though). this one is smaller and the current fave because I'm trying to drink less coffee
study things I did today:

summer studying challenge:
I have three: 1) Iceland! mainly dreaming of going horseback riding (one of those camping with horses trip), I've been dreaming about that since I was 7! 2) a trip across the British isles (yes I know it's impossible to see everything in one trip but let dream me please) 3) exploring parts of Europe I haven't been to with interrail!

A quietly pleasing chaos of books, journals, recipes, notes, love letters
Stop 1.5 - Toledo Spread + Travel Trivia 💭✨(from listening to too many audioguides)
I don’t think this is regarded as fact, but it’s a pretty interesting story nonetheless.
The engineer responsible for the construction of Puente de San Martin realized that he had gravely miscalculated the weight that the bridge could bear. After confiding in his wife, she set fire to the beams of the bridge during a heavy thunderstorm, so no one thought too much of it the day after. The engineer was saved from total humiliation and got another chance to build the bridge with the correct calculations.
Now if that’s not true love, I’m not sure what is.

for some reason I always associate purple with dreams, something hazy but real. my optimistic side has always loved this colour and day by day I'm getting more fond of it. I hope the upcoming days will be painted in purple♡︎

12.03.2019: Haven’t posted any original photos in what seems like decades… I guess I have just been a bit overwhelmed with everything uni-related, because I don’t really enjoy my current courses and it’s a struggle to even sit down and read course materials because I loose focus and am already too far behind, which stresses me out like hell. Well, at least I’m currently home and can annoy my dog while scream-crying into my granola bowl and passive-aggressively trying to get my shit together! (and I finally started to use my camera again to take some early-morning pictures of my coffee when the lightning in my kitchen was absolutely beautiful!) Hope you all have a cool day, Amber :)
it’s the fourteenth of october and i woke up to snow and sunlight
