Took a pottery wheel class last night. The wheel was my weakest skill when I took pottery in high school but I think I did okay.
Froggy has a sweater now. (Bonus pic of him in his transportation ball because I don't want him to pill when he's in my project bag)
The pattern is actually so good at explaining what youre doing! It's worked flat in one piece (besides the legs, which also has an altered pattern thats way more simple). So even though you do techniques like short rows it tells you what you're doing perfectly. I wish I had done it sooner. If you can knit, purl, increase, and decrease you can make the little guy!

I never want to hear conservatives go on about repressive censorship in China, North Korea, and Iran ever again
To be clear to those unfamiliar: these are the companies that libraries use to lend ebooks.
They are literally cutting off library access to minors.
If you are affected by this or other bans and restrictions in the United States, be aware that the Brooklyn Public Library is offering free digital library cards to anyone age 13-21 nationwide as part of their Books UnBanned initiative:
BOOOOOST
Froggy is here on his throne and he's judging you (he has judged you as very cute)
(pattern is dotpebbles knits)
Froggy is coming along nicely. I found a tiny rocking chair for him at the antique mall today.
Big things happening in my knitting life. I was so intimidated by how cool the finished frog looks that I was sure I would struggle to make it but if you've made literally one sock you can make this guy. Pattern is Claire Garland aka dotpebbles πΈ
The super bowl or whatever I'm not american

Every reply this is is another punch in the gut
Some yarn pics from the last month.
First set is some cute sock yarn that I caked that I'm currently using for color work. In love with it!
Second is some worsted weight that I'm going to make a valentine shrug with and a test swatch with it for color work.
Last is the chunky shrug I've been making. Can't make progress on the shrug because I need more yarn and bought the wrong colors ππ«
This is what happens when you drop your new Samsung flip 5 down the stairs ππ
Not visible: the violent strobing effect that I'll have to warn the tech guy about because it's an epilepsy issue, and the fact that it looks like the hinge punched into the screen from behind and is leaking something under the screen β€οΈβ€οΈ oh, and it's going through a constant steam of phantom screen touches on top if strobing. Never know which button it's gonna push next!
No YouTuber will ever top the phrase "A powerful rat named Charles Entertainment Cheese."
"A California-themed amusement park in the already California-themed California" is also a banger and comes from the same channel.
How quickly we forget "You would have to pay an industrial engineer to create a complex computer simulation of a theme park populated with agents, all with unique preferences, riding attractions of varying capacities in order to compare and contrast wait times, number of rides ridden, and other factors with and without a virtual queue system just to get to the bottom of this incredibly niche curiosity" followed immediately by
Picture 1 and 2: my outfit. Thrifted the skirt and the white shirt. The two headed bear is from taobao.
Picture 3: I got a little stone frog from the crysgal shop near my house. He came with me to the coffee shop for brunch.
Picture 4: I pulled up the carpet in the hallway so now my lorge cat pics will be on crusty wood floors instead of gross crusty carpet.
Picture 5 and 6: I had a metal basket with hooks on my closet door but I've moved it above my bed because I'm keeping that space in my room much more tidy, so it's now the only hindersnce to me using my closet. The space feels so much better now.
Picture 7: installed another hook in my ceiling for my paper lantern. I love cute lighting.
Not pictured: painted part of my kitchen pink. Hung a mirror (mirror frame still needs painted) installed a hook to hold my ring light. Installed a lot of hooks to hold all of my earrings and necklaces on an IKEA shelf because my jewelry box is cluttered so I never use it. Also finally fixed the downstairs toilet.
Some of my favorite yarn makes of 2023 π
Paid $20 for these two on Hollywood Blvd but I managed to get my baby hangyodon π₯Ή it was a Christmas miracle
