Hey everyone! It's been crickets on my end for a bit, but that's because ever since the Zines arrived, I've been plowing through shipping the orders! I'm about halfway through the orders as of right now, with the artist copies to be mailed out the moment their done! Their already safe & snug in their bubble mailers, ready for postage labels!
Onto the second note, artists! I'm sure your all very anxious to share your pieces, and I've noticed a few trickling out already, so I wanted to give the A-Okay that yes, you can now post your pieces in full! :D
I've also loved seeing folks tag me when their Zines arrive, knowing that they've arrived at their new homes makes me smile! ^u^ I'm working diligently to ensure everyone has theirs as soon as possible.💧
Jasper could definitely use some love and good vibes, and if the show won’t do it, we may as well!
Fearful Asymmetry will be a full color non-profit printed zine that is planned for release in late June 2018. Headed up by @thegembeaststemple, this zine will celebrate the ferocity, power, and hidden depths of the energizer tiger herself, Jasper! As this project is carrying the torch from the in-all-likelihood defunct Tiger Bomb, proceeds will go to Big Cat Rescue as originally planned.
Both ART and WRITING will be featured in the final zine. Artists and authors will get their own copy of the finished zine, shipping included. We’re going fast and furious on getting this zine out, so we’ll be very strict about hitting dates. If you’re late, your work won’t be included. It’s as simple as that.
Contributors to the original Tiger Bomb zine that have reached out and confirmed their participation already are set, and don’t need to do anything at this point. Those contributors that have not since gotten in contact with me will need to apply to be considered.
