Lucy is assigned to him the moment his soul blips into existence. She's a veteran guardian at this point, has helped plenty of humans through life from start to finish. The first few fleeting months are simply protecting his mom while she helps him grow, just until he's old enough to breathe on his own. Normally, this stage would be very peaceful and warm, but Tim's mom has a few life troubles of her own to sort through, and Lucy works closely with the woman's guardian to make sure Tim isn't harmed before he's born.
He's a screamer. He's a very serious baby, very judgy, very spirited. Lucy can tell she's in for quite the ride with this one.
Just had a little wonder pop into my aged brain.... Do you think Tim Bradford's habit of always wearing either a denim shirt, jacket or something to cover his arms and back have to do with scars he may have or think he has from his childhood? I notice he doesn't ever appear bare chested until he's in an intimate relationship setting. Just curious, what do you all think?

The second Tim saw lucy that morning in roll call he could tell something was wrong.. she looked exhausted and like she was deep in thought, fiddling with her water bottle. But decided it was probably nothing.
Then he started to really get worried when she barely said a word in the shop all morning, she stared out the windshield as she drove the shop she seemed far away in her thoughts, her hands wringing the steering wheel. Finally he couldn’t take it not knowing what was wrong and he took a deep breath and said “ are you ok?” His face full of the worry though he was trying to mask it. Lucy glanced at him surprised “ wha? Oh yeah im fine” Tim rolled his eyes “ Lucy I’ve know you long enough to know you aren’t, you have barely talked all morning and that’s very unusual for you” she rolled her eyes and then looked at him he eyes screamed that she looked afraid of something. She squirmed in her seat and the took a deep breath.
