Leaflets (read: death threats) were dropped on the eastern side of Rafah by Israeli warplanes just a few hours ago, in translation they read:
"Urgent Warning
To the residents and the displaced in Alshwka municipality, Salam neighbourhoods, Aljunaynah, Alboyok, block numbers:
10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 28, 270
The Israeli Defence Forces will be working intensely against terrorist organisations in your areas, as they have been until now.
Whoever is near the terrorist organisations puts their life and their family members' lives in danger.
For your safety, the Israeli Defence Forces urges you to evacuate immediately to the designated humanitarian area in Almawasi. Gaza city is still an area of intense fighting, do not return back to the North.
Do not come close to the eastern or southern security fence.

Since this morning, the eastern side of Rafah has seen an increasing number of intense Israeli airstrikes, including in areas where displaced Palestinians set up tents.
Quick reminder that there is absolutely no place to go in Rafah. Rafah is one of the most densely populated areas in the world right now. This is basically an extermination notice handed out to 1.4 million Palestinians (almost half of Gaza's population) who are displaced and have been crammed into the southern most part of Gaza, as Israel has been systematically pushing them this way for over 6 months now. And we don't have to even talk about the lie that is the "humanitarian routes", especially considering Israel's specific targeting of said routes throughout this aggression.
Important to note that this evacuation order covers the area where the Rafah crossing is, where aid is supposedly meant to enter the strip. Additionally, it includes the area where the only remaining functioning hospital in Rafah is. It does not get anymore obviously genocidal than this.
Every journalist from Rafah reports how people have nowhere to go and have decided to watch what happens next exactly because they are trapped. So needless to say, this is going to be catastrophic at every level imaginable.

Med @fairuzfan’s blog got terminated by tumblr which is obviously unjust for all the people who rely on them for resources on Palestine, but it now leaves Hussam’s helpgazachildren donation drive without a point of communication, and has deleted all previous information Med had shared about the drive.
Please remember to keep donating to helpgazachildren as Hussam’s hard work getting resources to families in Gaza should not have to be hindered while Med is working on getting their blog back 🤍🇵🇸

ASU protestors are claiming four women's hijabs have been removed by police out in public without their consent. They have footage of one woman's hijab being removed and have shared it with a local news outlet.

This is a hatecrime. Officers are not allowed to remove a religious piece of clothing unless they are conducting a search and if so, this should be done in a private room with an officer of the same sex.
If you see this happening–related to the pro-Palestine protests or not–document it and get the officers' badge numbers and names. Let me say it again: this is a hatecrime and should not be tolerated. I cannot imagine the trauma this has caused these women and I hope they are able to heal from this.
Protect your Muslim siblings. We need it now more than ever.
Reblogging to add this: I'm not a hijabi, but I grew up in a family of hijabis. No hijabi would ever consent to having their hijab removed by four men out in public like this. This is a violation of their First Amendment religious freedom.

UPDATE: Food Packages!
Hussam managed to put together 150 food packages with feta cheese, halva, biscuits, sugar, salt, yeast, cooking oil, tomato sauce, and canned legumes! He also put together another set of 200 vegetable packages.
Thanks to all your help, Hussam’s able to put together packages like these to feed the people of Gaza in the midst of such a difficult time! There’s a special message in the video to everyone, so please take the time to watch it!

- kind of connected to the last point but the guy who plays wade is evidently pro-israel too
this is a complete and utter joke.
yeah you know what that's fair.
- keanu reeves is the actor cast to play shadow in the movie. in 2014 he attended this party at an israeli movie producer's house and netanyahu was there too. there's this photo of the two of them being friendly at that party (linked above)
- james marsden is the actor who plays tom. he was exposed to have supported convicted pedophile brian peck during the drake bell trial when the documentary quiet on set premiered.
- adam pally is the actor who plays wade. he made a pro-israel instagram post in october 2023 and nothing in support of palestinians so it's pretty clear where his beliefs lie.

afaik no but only because he (admittedly like a lot of other celebrities) has said absolutely nothing about the ongoing genocide despite the fact that it's been going on for over 200 days at this point. given the severity of the situation i have absolutely no patience or desire to give him the benefit of the doubt so unless he says or does something actually meaningful then i'm not gonna let up on him. AT BEST his silence means that palestine simply isn't important enough for him to want to speak up.
also while i'm operating under the assumption that you're asking in good faith and i'm properly answering you in return, i do think it's dismissive of you to to describe this shit as "one party from a decade ago." yes it technically only happened once but buddying up with the prime minister of israel is like... the opposite of insignificant. it's kind of a damn big deal actually. and a decade ago isn't exactly that long once you remember that the israeli occupation has been going on since 1948, AND in the same year that keanu attended that party israel was attacking gaza for over a month. with netanyahu as one of the key figures responsible back then too in case that's unclear
