A deep-seated hatred chilled you to the bone as you heard the call of your ex-pack members, a cry for help. You snorted, where had they been when you had needed them the most, you think bitterly. Since leaving the pack that had been beginning to help you accept who you were, and doing everything in your power to become a true member of the pack, working your way through the ranks of the pack to where you were able to challenge Sam’s authority, you had travelled to different parts of the world, learning different types of martial arts, you were a quick learner and everyone you had ever trained under was impressed with your skill and ability. But you missed home, missed being able to see your family and be around your friends, stupid frickin Sam and his rules of banishment. You’re making your way back through Forks, Washington for the first time in almost six months when you hear your old pack in the middle of battle. You stand at the edge of the clearing watching as the wolves help the Cullens attack the newborn vampire army, you recognise many of the wolves fighting in the clearing and when you see Jacob be attacked by a newborn you can’t help but transform, ripping the newborn to shreds before you snarl at the other wolf who had been growling at you as the Cullen’s gathered around. As the other wolves, all transform and rush back into the clearing, you growl at them as they try to touch Jacob, he had always been on your side and had stayed in contact with you on your travels

“Y/N, stand down, we need to get Jacob to safety” Sam growls and you huff, one of the Cullen’s is beside you and checking Jacob over before he tells them to get out of the clearing and he’ll be back to the reserve to check on them when they finish, before he looks up at you and he frowns

“You need to transform Y/N, we can’t have the Volturi knowing that there have been wolves here” he says and you frown before you disappear into the forest line. When you have changed and the Volturi have left, you make your way back out of the forest and into the clearing where the Cullens all seem to be waiting for you, Bella gasps when she sees you and she takes a couple of steps towards you

“Y/N, where have you been?” she asks and you raise an eyebrow as you look at the others

“I was kicked out of the pack, I’m guessing none of the others told you?” you ask and she shakes her head

“When I asked Jacob he said he wasn’t allowed to tell” she says and you sigh

“Yeah well, that’s Sam and his stupid leadership for you” you say and she frowns, she knew that many of the wolves didn’t like the fact that Sam was the leader of the wolf clan, as it was supposed to be a role that Jacob had inherited and if he had refused it was supposed to go to the one who earned the title by power, status and ability, that would’ve been you if it wasn’t for the fact that you weren’t a true shapeshifter, you were a lot smaller than the other wolves in the pack.

“I’m sorry,” she says and you nod, before turning on your feet and leaving the clearing, you wanted to head back to the reserve, needing to see your family and check up on Jacob, you didn’t care what Sam said, you had every right to be with your family and with your best mate.

Day 4 - “I know you didn’t ask for this.” with Edward and reader

You stood in front of him, hand cupping his cheek as you stare up into those beautiful amber eyes, your other resting against his cold chest. “I’m not scared of you Edward, I’m not scared of you being a vampire” you watch as something flashed across his face, something like self-loathing“Why? I’m a monster” he says and you reach up with your other hand, cupping his face in your hands, your thumbs stroking his jawline as you tilt his head so that his gaze meets yours.

“You are not a monster Edward. I know you didn’t ask for this. Besides if you hadn’t have been created or turned I would never have found the love of my life” you confess you and his eyes bug, it’s almost like watching a cartoon. He shakes his head, freeing himself of your hands

“You don’t mean that Y/N” he says turning away from you and you reach out, placing a hand on his shoulder.

“Read my thoughts, read them and know that I mean every word that I have ever said to you” you say and he pauses, and you’re sure he’s doing exactly as you said. It’s a good five minutes later before he turns back to you and pulls you closer to him, his lips pressed to your forehead as he whispers

“I love you too Y/N, my sweet Y/N” he says and you can’t help but beam at his confession.

Fictober 2019 - Day 10

Day 10 -  “Listen, I can’t explain it, you’ll have to trust me.” Emmett

You stood rooted to the spot as you saw this grizzly bear making its way towards you, angryily, intent on making you its next meal, especially since you stumbling upon it had caused his orignal meal to flea. Your internally beating yourself up for listening to your friends at school, one for letting them give you advice about which track in Forks was the best one and two for believing them when they said that there were no bears in the surrounding area. Slowly moving your hands to a position in front of you, and trying to slowly take a step away from it, your foot lands on a stick and breaks, the bear rising up to its full height as it growls

“AGHHH!!!!!” you scream before turning and running as fast as you can from the bear. About a minute later, someone is beside you, tapping you turn to see Emmett Cullen, one of the most beautiful men you had ever laid eyes on running along beside you, he’s looking at you with concern.

“Y/N, close your eyes” he says and you shake your head

“Are you f**king crazy?” you ask and he gives a slight smirk before his face falls into a neutral expression“

Listen, I can’t explain it, you’ll have to trust me. I can save you” he says, you turn around and see that the bear is gaining on you and you begin to realise that even with the current adrenaline rush that’s pumping through your body, there is no way you would be able to run all the way back down the trail without some kind of miracle.

“Okay” you say, looking into his strange coloured eyes, are they amber? You think to yourself as you close your eyes, and feel a pair of strong arms lift you effortlessly off the ground before there’s a rush of air rushing past your face. What feels like seconds later, your feet are touching the ground, you slowly open your eyes to find Emmett standing in front of you and you threw your arms around his neck in relief as you let out a grateful sob

“Oh thank you so much, I thought I was done for” you say and he moves a stray strand of hair behind your ear

“It was my pleasure Y/N” he says before turning around and walking back into the trees.

Day 13 -  “I never knew it could be this way.” with Jasper Hale

When he laid eyes on you for the first time almost a year ago, he felt something inside him shift. It was like his whole axis had shifted, whilst most peoples worlds revolved and spun around the earth, you became the thing that brightened his day, the thing that kept him sane. You had become his everything in the last year and the two of you had only been seeing each other for the last six months. It was on this night that things between the two of you had heated up, you’d taken things to the next level and as you lay spent in bed next to the beautiful southern man, panting after a tender round of lovemaking, you look over at him, running your fingers gently along his arm

“I never knew it could be this way” you whisper and he turns to look at you, amber eyes meeting yours in an instant as he raises an eyebrow“What do you mean doll?” he asks and you sit upright, pulling the sheet up to cover your exposed chest

“What are you asking Jas?” you ask and he sits up to

“Ar- were you a virgin Y/N?” he asks and you look down at your hands sheepishly

“Yes,” you whisper, timidly. He curses, before getting out of bed, racing around trying to gather all of his things together, before he leans over the bed and places a kiss on your forehead

“I am so sorry Y/N” he whispers before he turns to leave. Clambering out of bed and pulling the sheet along with you, you race after him but its too late, he’s already gone.

For the next couple of days you try calling him, you wait for him at school but he doesn’t come, he doesn’t even come to spend the night with you like he normally do, you even try to talk to his siblings at school but none of them speaks to you, it’s like your completely invisible to them. You were beginning to panic when on the third day you decide to head over to the Cullen house. You knew of their secret, had done since before you and Jasper had started dating so when you knock on the door of the house, you’re immediately greeted by Carlisle.

“Hi Y/N” Carlisle greets and you give him a sad smile

“Is Jasper in?” you ask and Carlisle nods, as he steps back letting you into the house. You make your way up to his bedroom, the door is shut and you take a deep breath before knocking. When you hear a quiet“Come in” you open the door and find the room basked in darkness, the only light coming from a small light on the other side of the room.

“Hi, Jasper” you whisper, unsure of what else to say in this moment when your eyes land on the blonde lying on his bed. He looks over at you and pats the bed, hesitantly you bite your lip before making your way towards him and sit next to him. You look at him, at the expanse of his body, knowing now the true beauty that laid beneath even with all the scars that were peppered across his body. The room is filled with a strained silence, you want nothing more than to reach out and touch him, kiss him even but your not sure where the two of you stand now, having been put in the dark by the man you were unsure what it even was that he wanted anymore. 

“Jasper, did I do something wrong?” you ask after a couple minutes silence and he sits up next to you and shakes his head

“No of course not. I did” he says and you shake your head in confusion

“But that’s not true Jasper” you say and he shakes his head, looking into your eyes.

“Yes it is Y/N, it’s true. I shouldn’t have pressured you into having sex with me. We shouldn’t have even done that, I could’ve hurt you, here I probably did hurt you” he says and you reach out to cup his cheek, he leans into your touch.

“Jas, you didn’t pressure me into having sex with you. I wanted it just as much as you did. And yes it hurt but it was an incredible kind of pain. I was more hurt when you got up and left afterwards though” you say and he curses.

“I’m so sorry sweetheart, I was- I didn’t realise that it was your first time and I should’ve made- no none of that excuses the way I reacted afterwards. I am so sorry, I was just so confused, I knew you had been in a relationship before and you had said that you had been romantically involved with him, so I just assumed that you and he had…” he drifts off and you chuckle at your sheepish southern man, you lean over and place a kiss on his lips, which he quickly responds to. When you pull back, breaking the kiss you lean over to him and whisper

“No matter what happens Jas, I love you, I forgive you but promise me that you will never freeze me out again”. He cups your face in his hands as he says

“I promise sweetheart”.

Your walking through the forest with your friend and only companion these days, Brontë. The two of you were talking about how far you’d fallen in such a short amount of time. You had been your father’s pride and joy, though the less common daughter of his that was known to the world, you had always been his little girl. That is until you feel for the grandson of Tartarus, a lion who could transform into a human whilst on earth, Nemean. He was the happiest part of your life until Nemean was banished back to the underworld by Zeus and Poseidon. You had hated your uncles for ruining your happiness but they swore that Nemean was going to cause too much damage on earth and destroy mankind. Because of the fall out between you and your uncles, you had been banished from the heavens and they had forbidden you from setting foot in here as well. Your only communication with your father was through your prized necklace that you always carried with you. You stumble into a clearing and find someone fighting an animal, another on the other side, the vampires look over at you, teeth bared as they charge at you, within seconds your powers are protecting you, the spirits of the dead forming a shield and your deadly scent begins seeping through the air.

“Edward, Rosalie stop” a voice calls out and you turn to see who has joined you. Two friendly-looking faces stand at the opposite side of the clearing and they race towards the other vampires. When the vampires lower their guard and take a couple of tentative steps away Brontë turns to you and says

“Y/N, I think you can lower the shield now” you look over at Brontë and nod, slowly lowering your shield and recalling your scent to you.

“What was that?” one of the vampires asks

“Are you a vampire?” another asks and you shake your head

“No I am not a vampire” you say and they all raise an eyebrow

“So what are you then?” one of the older vampires ask and you look towards Brontë who just shrugs. Taking a deep breath you say

“I’m Y/N, demigod and daughter of Hades of the Underworld” you say, and the blonde lady bursts out laughing at you. You raise an eyebrow, before the others quieten her as the blonde one steps forward

“No, I remember something about her in the history books. She was Hades and Persephone’s favourite daughter but when she fell in love with Nemean the lion her uncles banished him back to the underworld and banished her to earth, not a lot of people talk about her because nobody really remembers that she was a part of history”. You nod along to what he said, as the others gasp

“Wait, so your truly a demigod?” the blonde lady asks and you nod

“Yes” you say

“How old are you?” she asks and you raise an eyebrow before you say

“Nearly 3600 years old, I’m the youngest of Hades children”. You watch as their jaws all drop.

“Wow, and here I thought Carlisle had seen everything being over 300 years old” you snort.

“Not quite, he hasn’t seen all the wars that I have seen” you say before shaking yourself.

“Well, I feel incredibly rude. We know who you are but we haven’t introduced ourselves” the brunette woman says before she points out each person “that is Rosalie, Edward, my husband Carlisle and I am Esme” she gives you a warm smile and you nod

“Its nice to meet you all. Honestly, I haven’t had any physical company in over 100 years. This is my friend Brontë, she was the last person who I connected with and when she was dying my father cheated a little and set her spirit free, she’s been following me around ever since” you say as Brontë makes herself visible to the others, giving them a wave and a shy

“Hello” before disappearing again.

“That must be incredibly lonely” Esme says and you nod

“Well yes but I’ve spent most of my life alone”.

It’s not long before the Cullens invite you and Brontë back to their house and you’re introduced to the rest of the Cullen coven. You quickly learn that these are the best types of vampires you had met in a long time. You wanted the world for them and when they offered you a spot to join them in their family you didn’t even have to think about it. It was nice to feel wanted by someone again, even Brontë was accepted by the coven, quickly forming a very special bond with Renesmee and Jacob something that had surprised you. Having never been to school before, you were set to join Renesmee in her first year at high school in Forks, though she was a sophomore and you were coming in as a junior. The two of you would hang out and eat lunch together, work on assessments at the library at school and complain about the workload as the two of you progressed through the year. You quickly began acing all of your tests and exams, having lived through all of these events and being there to experience a lot of them first hand. At the end of your first school year, you and Renesmee rushed through the front doors after school, both of you holding up your report cards as you rush up the stairs and enter the lounge, Renesmee running over to Edward and Bella as you rush over to Carlisle and Esme, holding up your report card as you say

“Guess what? All A+ baby!” you say as you hold out your report card, feeling giddy, you had even managed to pass PE with an A+, a shock to you as you really did not enjoy that subject.

“Oh that’s great sweetie” Esme says as she wraps her arms around you, and Carlisle places his hand on your shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze as he says with a happy smile

“We’re proud of you Y/N”. You squeal in delight before throwing your arms around both of them and whisper

“Thank you so much mum and dad”. Feeling the two of them still, everyone in the room is watching you, you pull back from the hug before you awkwardly try and explain away what you had just said. Esme is the first to recover and she pulls you close.

“Don’t you dare take that back Y/N. We are honoured that you think of us that way” she says placing a kiss on your forehead and you smile, as tears spring to your eyes

“Its true, we love you a lot Y/N. We would be honoured if you would truly like to join our family?” Carlisle asks and you look between the two, before you look around at the others who are all smiling at you, giving you gentle smiles

“I would love too. It’s so nice to feel like I belong again” you say and Esme pulls you in for a hug, Carlisle pulls the two of you in, before Renesmee joins in, and slowly the others are hugging you too. It’s one of the most special moments of your existence, you take a deep breath, looking down at the ground, hoping that your father is happy for you and the little family you had found.

My Hands

He had you pressed up against the wall of your bedroom, your parents were both at work and since Jasper had driven you home from school that day to help you “study”, you had the whole house to yourself. For the last four months your relationship with Jasper had been slowly changing from just friends to something more. As a matter of fact, it had been earlier in the day, just after your English literature test that you had been freaking out about for weeks that you told Jasper you loved him for the first time. So it was inevitable that he was going to be extra cuddly and lovey this afternoon. As he cups your cheek with one hand he wraps his hand around yours and he whispers

“My darlin’ I couldn’t think of anyone more perfect than you”, you beam at him before placing a tender kiss on his lips as he brings your joined hands up to rest over where his heart sits, unbeating in his chest. You begin to move your thumb alongside his, in a gentle motion, as you say

“My hand was made to fit into yours. That’s all there is to it” you say and he chuckles,

“Oh really, so not the fact that you love me and I love you?” he asks and you give him a cheeky smile before placing a kiss on his lips

“What do you think?” you say and he chuckles before pulling you away from the wall and leading you over to your desk.

When Rosalie and Emmett had shown up to ask a massive favour of you, you had to admit you had been curious to do so. You arrived in Forks, Washington expecting to see your ex-fiance, but you hadn’t been expecting him to still be with her. You hated feeling this way, even after all this time you still felt bitter about it, the day he had left you alone was the day you had felt your world crumble around you. You had meet Carlisle as a young vampire, when you had been running through Italy on a hunt, he was a member of the Volturi coven back then, and you had been young and naive, you hadn’t even been sure that such a power was out there, but Carlisle had taught you about the world, and when he had broken free from the Volturi to start his own coven you had joined him. Everything had been perfect. The two of you had been happy together, leading your lives and trying to immerse yourself into the community, you even became a vegetarian, that had been hard at first as you quickly learned of your powers as a vampire, but Carlisle had been there to help you through. Slowly he started adding people to his coven, the first being Edward and then Rosalie and Emmett, you had been happy until she came along. It hadn’t taken long before your relationship between Carlisle and the rest of his coven had been shattered because of the way Carlisle had treated you once he had meet his true mate.

You storm out of the house after hearing the pleas of Edward and his wife Bella, truly you were happy for them, they had something that every other vampire didn’t, something that you yourself had wanted, had longed for. But seeing Carlisle and Esme being all cute and snuggly made you sick to the stomach. You can hear someone following after you, and when you turn you see Edward has followed you out.

“Please don’t leave us Y/N. Your one of Carlisle’s oldest companions, the Volturi will be cowering in their boots if they knew you were on our side” he says and you shake your head

“Don’t. Edward, I wish I could help you but I just can’t be here” you say and he sighs. He looks almost wounded at your rejection

“I’m sorry,” you say and he nods, having read your thoughts.

“I know its hard for you Y/N, being back here” he says and you nod, giving him a sad smile. You feel guilty as you leave, racing to the forest where you pace, if only you could get over this pain.

The day of the confrontation between Carlisle’s clan and the Volturi arrived, the guilt you had felt since leaving the Cullen residence just over four days ago was finally taking over. You get dressed and sigh as you make yourself head towards the clearing you know the confrontation will take place. As you enter the clearing you can see the Cullen clan and the others gathered on the northern side of the clearing and make your way over to them. Edward looks up and smiles, placing a hand on your shoulder as he says

“Thank you” you nod before you scan the group of vampires around you, and you freeze as Carlisle arrives by your side

“You came back?” he asks and you nod, voice shaking as you say

“I couldn’t let anything happen to that little girl, no matter how much it pains me to be here”. Carlisle frowns before he nods

“Of course, I’m sorry Y/N” he says and you look up into his eyes, meeting for the first time since he stood beside you

“You say that now but you didn’t seem to be too sorry when you broke off our engagement or kicked me out of the coven” you say, you freeze as you see Esme make her way to his side, clutching at his arm and he sighs. You turn away from them and make your way to Rosalie and Emmett’s side, they had always been your favourites in the coven.

As you see hear Edward call out that the Volturi were nearing the clearing you feel yourself begin to panic, part of the reason you and Carlisle had left the Volturi was because of the powers you had and how you used them, you still feared that they would come after you and try and claim you as their own. When the Volturi enters with the members of the coven, you sigh. You had hoped to never see them again. Carlisle begins to speak, ever the peacekeeper and you see Aro and the other members of the Volturi looking between you and Carlisle and you take just one step closer to them, a step closer to the man who even now held your heart captive. The morning passes, Edward, Bella and Renesmee make their way over to the others to prove their case, and then someone new enters the clearing and you can hear Aro as he gasps, before smiling when he sees who it is. Rosalie leans over and whispers

“That’s Alice, she and the man beside her Jasper joined our coven about twenty or so years ago” you nod, taking in that information before you look at the two of them, hoping that these two would be the thing that was needed to sway the Volturi.

“There that’s your future” Alice announces after showing Aro her thoughts

“Alice can see the future?” you whisper to Rosalie and she nods

“Subjectively, but yes”. You take that in. Another couple come out of the trees and prove Renesmee’s innocence before the Volturi takes their leave. Aro remains, looking between the different members of the coven. His eyes linger on you, and you still, glaring at him and you can see him visibly shake.

“What was that about?” you ask and Alice says

“It seems Aro did not like the vision I showed him off the future. It seems your powers of seeing animal spirits have been strengthened since the last time he saw you” you raise an eyebrow

“How did you know?” you ask and Alice smiles

“Your all Carlisle speaks about of his past from when he was in the Volturi or before he speaks about his time when he changed Edward and the others” your jaw drops and your eyes flicker towards the man

“Seriously?” you ask and she nods, Rosalie places a hand on your shoulder as she says

“Seriously. He may love Esme but he never seemed to get over you”. You feel like crying as you hear that, how you had longed to hear those words, you shake your head

“I-I have to go,” you say and they all try and stop you but you don’t look back. You couldn’t hang out much hope when he loved another.

You were running through the forest, running from the pack who had disowned you and hated you. You couldn’t believe that they had thrown you out for speaking your mind at a time when you were doing what you believed to be what the pack needed to do. Sam had been the real reason you had been kicked out, whilst the others had agreed with you, it had been Sam’s word that caused you to leave. You let out an anguished howl as you continued to run before you’re surrounded by them, the cold ones, the vampires that you had been told all about, but had been protecting the-cold-ones girlfriend from the other cold-one, the redhead.

“Whose this?” one of them says

“Why is this wolf running through our land?” another queries, you quickly glance between the three vampires that surround you

“It’s Y/N, she was a member of the pack but it seems Sam has kicked her out” you whimper as the vampire, you know as Edward says.

“Sam kicked out a member of the pack?” another vampire says as he joins the others, you watch him, keeping an eye on him as you feel something inside you change. Your natural hatred for the cold-one’s shifts as you lay eyes on the head of the Cullen coven for the first time. You whimper again and Edward gasps, the others turning to him as they await a response

“What is it?” Carlisle asks and they all turn to Edward as he looks to you

“It seems Y/N has imprinted on you Carlisle” the others all gasp as you whimper again before Carlisle crouches down in front of you, meeting your eyes

“Y/N, do you have anywhere to stay?” he asks and you shake your head

“Well how about you come and stay with us, I can’t have you falling into harm’s way because of another’s actions” he says and you look at him, and he looks to Edward before Edward gives a slight nod.

You follow the vampires back towards their house and as you reach the edge of the tree line, Alice meets you out on the balcony

“Why did all of our futures just disappear?” she asks and then she sees you standing behind Carlisle, Bella and Esme join Alice on the deck and Bella asks

“Isn’t that Y/N?” the group of vampires who had been with you in the forest all nod

“What is she doing here?” Esme asks, concerned

“She was kicked out of the pack” Carlisle says and then looks over at you before Edward says

“What Carlisle neglected to mention was that she imprinted on him and he’s offered her a place to stay with us” Alice frowns and Esme starts making her way towards you

“Oh, you poor thing. We’d be happy to have you stay with us my dear” you look at her and give a happy bark. Esme looks over her shoulder before she says

“Alice please go and retrieve something for Y/N to wear”, Alice gives a slight smile before she disappears and returns just moments later carrying a change of clothes and a pair of shoes for you to wear. You disappear behind the tree line, Alice following as you change into the clothes she hands you once your back in your human form. You smile at her once you’re fully dressed.

“Thank you Alice” you say and she smiles.

“Think nothing of it Y/N” she says and you smile.

It takes you just a couple of weeks to settle into your new life with the Cullens, they let you go on hunting trips with them and you even transferred schools. But your favourite thing to do was to be as close to Carlisle as possible, whether he was studying in his office or working in the lounge you were there, with him. He didn’t mind the company, at first he would look up at you every couple of minutes and try to make small talk with you, but as time passes the two of you start having deeper, more personal conversations. It was clear to anyone who saw you with Carlisle that the two of you had become very fond of each other even if you weren’t romantic, you quickly learnt that your role of imprinting on Carlisle would be as a companion, to guard and protect and you were okay with that, as a matter of fact, you were grateful for it. When you had been living with the Cullens for about six months, one of the boys in your year, a new transfer student to Forks had caught your attention and had quickly asked you out, you had agreed and your relationship with the young man was one of the best things to come from leaving the pack, you truly were the happiest you had ever been.

Being invited to the Cullen house for the day had been somewhat of a surprise for you, though you guessed being the baby sister of the girl their son was dating must’ve been the reason, though you were also pretty sure it had something to do with the fact that your dad had been called away on a case and if you hadn’t gone you’d be left alone at home by yourself, something Charlie hated no matter your age. Today was the first time you were officially getting to meet all of the Cullen’s, and you were nervous. Your anxiety and shyness was playing tricks on you and though you knew that you were in safe hands you were still freaking out. When you’d arrived at the Cullen’s house you had been greeted by Edward and Alice, the latter linking her arm through your own and dragging you up the stairs. Bella and Edward had immediately retreated to Edward’s bedroom after the introductions leaving you alone with a room full of almost strangers. You knew the children as you went to school with them, though they were all at least two years above you in their schooling and you had met Dr Cullen when Bella had been rushed to the ER after hitting her head all those months ago. Though this was the first time you were getting to meet Esme, whom you’d heard a lot about from Bella. It was about three hours later when Bella had received a message from Jessica asking for her to meet up with Angela in town, about some date night or something or other, Bella had told you to get ready to leave and you had looked at her shocked, one cause Bella never ordered you to do anything and two because she had been quite rude and butted into the story that Carlisle and Esme were telling you.

“It’s alright Bella, we don’t mind having Y/N with us until you get back,” Esme says and you look between Carlisle, Esme and Bella. The two adults were giving Bella a gentle smile whilst Bella looked like she was about to lose it. She glares at you before sighing and throwing her hands up in the air in a fit

“Fine. I’ll be back later to pick you up” she says as she goes, you can hear her muttering to herself as she makes her way down the stairs. You look back around at your hosts and give them an apologetic smile

“I’m sorry about that, sometimes Bella and I just seem to aggravate each other. Me to her more than her to me. All because of my stupid anxiety” you say and both of them look to each other before they give you a gentle smile

“Anxiety isn’t stupid Y/N, and we don’t think there’s anything wrong with you,” Carlisle says whilst Esme nods.

Your waiting for Bella, sitting on the couch with a book that you had brought in your bag when Esme comes and sits down next to you. She gives you a gentle smile before she asks

“Are you hungry Y/N? Is there anything I can get you?” you shake your head, staying silent. Though you had been with them for a couple hours now and your anxiety had begun to lessen you still weren’t 100% comfortable in their presence. She reaches out to squeeze your hand as she asks

“Maybe there’s something you would like to do? We have a piano, Bella tells me your a great pianist, maybe you could show us what you can do. Anything you want to do we can do it Y/N” you just stare at her. She’s about to get up when you feel a little boost of confidence as an idea pops into your head

“Can we make cake? I like cake” Esme smiles, giving your hand a gentle squeeze just as Carlisle returns to the lounge from his office. He smiles at you as he looks between his wife and you before he nods and says

“That sounds like an excellent idea Y/N,” he says and you smile at him, the first genuine smile you had given to any of them since turning up her a couple of hours ago.

You, Esme and Carlisle, are all in the kitchen, mixing the batter for the second cake you were making when Bella enters the lounge. Her jaw drops when she sees you laughing at something Carlisle had just said, a light in your eyes she hadn’t seen in such a long time.

“What are you making?” Bella asks and you all look up to see her standing on the other side of the island in the kitchen.

“We’re making a cake” you say excitedly and she smiles

“I see that, what type of cake?” she queries and you look at Esme who smiles

“Well the one in the oven is a red velvet cake and this one is a chocolate mud cake. Y/N told us that you love the red velvet cake so we made it for you. And she said that Charlie’s favourite is the mud cake so, here we are” Esme explains and you nod, looking between Carlisle, Esme and Bella. Edward walks out of his bedroom at that moment and Bella smiles at seeing her boyfriend, you roll your eyes and Bella says as she follows Edward to his room

“Let me know when the cakes are done and then we can head home” you smile happily before continuing to bake with Esme and Carlisle.

He’s standing in front of you, cupping your cheek as you lean into his touch. You’re trying so desperately to make sense of what’s going on here, you had known Edward a long time, but he had never shown any sort of interest in you before this moment.

“Edward…” you whisper and he leans his forehead down, meeting yours as he says

“I can’t understand it. It’s like every time I try leaving you, try leaving this place it physically hurts me to do so. Like all my soul yearns for is your presence” your jaw drops, and he sighs

“I knew it was too good to be true. You don’t feel the same way” he says, his hand dropping from your cheek and you immediately miss the contact.

“It’s not that I don’t feel the same way Edward, of course, I do. I just- it never occurred to me that you would feel the same way towards me, you always seemed so distant around me” you whisper, unsure of what you’re trying to tell him. He reaches down, lacing his fingers with yours as he says

“In all my years on this planet Y/N, I have never met anyone who has enamoured me the way you do. From the moment I meet you I have done everything in my power to try and fight them but I can’t do it anymore. It hurts too much” he says and you nod, rising on your tiptoes to capture his lips in a hungry embrace, when you pull apart you whisper to him and say

“I feel the same way Edward, I love you” you say and he beams, his eyes lighting as a dashing smile brightens his face

“Oh it makes my dormant heart so happy to hear those words. I love you so much Y/N” he says and you smile, giving his hand a gentle squeeze

“Forever,” you say and he nods

“Forever”.

As you stood opposite him, you could feel a sense of hope wash over you, unsure if it was your own or his radiating from him as he took a step towards you and then another before he was finally in front of you, hand reaching out to cup your cheek as he looks into your bright red eyes. For the first time in years you were seeing the man you had spent a century fighting to find. When you had heard rumours of an appearance of someone matching Jasper’s description you had hunted him down until you found him. When you did, it was in the middle of clearing he was out hunting, you stood watching, he looked as gracious as ever and you could tell that he was struggling with something, you hadn’t spent thirty years as his companion for nothing after all. You lean into his touch, and give him a small smile

“Y/N?” he barely whispers but you can still hear your name escape through his lips. You place your hand over his and turn your head to kiss the inside of his palm, something that you had always done when the two of you had been together.

“What are you doing here?” he asks troubled and you raise an eyebrow at him before you say

“I heard whispers that you were still alive, I needed to see if those rumours were true”. He nods slowly before looking back at you and sighs, you stop him before he has a chance to speak

“I know you have a true mate now Jasper, I didn’t come here looking for that. I just needed to see for myself that you were truly okay. I’ve spent over a century searching for you” you say and he nods dropping his hand from your cheek but not letting go of your hand.

“I never stopped loving you though” you whisper and he swallows

“When I last saw you, you were in bed with someone else Y/N, I left to figure out where I had gone wrong but I never stopped loving you either. And now seeing you here, my heart hurts when I see you and I find myself drunk on the pain” he admits and you feel crushed, you had always wondered why Jasper had truly left you.

“I’m truly sorry Jasper. I shouldn’t have come” you say, turning to leave but he catches you before you have a chance to run off.

“Oh no you don’t, I didn’t go all this time without seeing you not to have you leave before we have a chance to actually catch up” he says and you sigh

“Okay, I’ll stay” you say and as the two of you sit in the middle of the clearing you begin swapping stories. It’s almost like your betrayal never happened and the two of you were young vampires together, living out your best lives, happy together.

Carlisle x reader - Drunk rambling

Sue me more Carlisle requests. One day Carlisle's S/O is drunk and shes like I have the most wonderful Guy in the entire world and she thinks she telling someone random about her amazing Boyfriend/Husband - Anon❤️

You’d had to much to drink.

Way, way to much to drink.

How you were still standing was beyond Carlisle, but he didn’t need heightened sense to smell the alcohol on you as he cane to the bar to pick you up.

“Alright love, lets get you home.” He chuckled.

“No! Y... you can’t take me home...” you slurred.

Carlisle furrowed his brows and sat in the stool next to you.

“Why’s that?”

“I... I... have a boyfriend...” you mumbled, “and.. I.. love him..”

Carlisle laughed, but his heart swelled with love at your words.

“Is that right?”

You hummed and nodded your head.

“How about I get you a taxi home then?”

You seemed to think about this before nodding again. Carlisle helped you up and slowly led you out of the bar.

“I... I would never cheat on Carlisle... he.. he’s amazing...”

Carlisle glanced down at you and smiled lovingly.

“He’s the best.. the best guy in the world... I love him...”

Then you started to cry. In a panic Carlisle hugged you to try calm you down.

“What’s wrong?” He asked.

“I... I love Carlisle.. so.. so much... and... and.. I want to see him... he’s so handsome... and kind... and I love him!”

Carlisle tried not to laugh at you, as funny as it was, it was adorable.

He soothed you and slowly your cries quietened. While waiting for the taxi, Carlisle listened to you mumble about him and how much you loved him.

Once the taxi, or rather, Alice, came. Carlisle out you in the car and ran back home to greet you.

It didn’t take long for you two to get back, when Alice pulled up you were already fast asleep.

“She really loves you.” Alive cooed.

“I know.” Carlisle whispered pulling you into his arms.

Taking you upstairs, he laid you on the bed and climbed in next to you. He wasn’t going to let you live this down

Sweet Girl

When people told him that being a parent to a teenage girl, was going to be a walk in the park he had laughed at them, add in the mixture of you both being vampires, things didn't quite pan out the way you had wanted them too. Your daughter Y/N had been made from the love and devotion he had for a simple tailors daughter in his village, born just weeks before he had been turned into a vampire, he was at his most happiest point in his life, and even with his constant thirst for blood he never wanted to leave her side. When Y/N was just 16 years old she had been walking through town back to her mother's house when she was attacked, raped and broken and left fighting for her life, Carlisle had been on his way back to the house after a hunt when he had found her. His dead heart had broken at the sight of seeing his little girl like that on the ground. So he took it upon himself to change her, when she'd woken three days later she'd been grateful to you, wanting to spend nothing more than an eternity with her father. And you were so incredibly thankful to have an eternity with your daughter, she had always been and would always be the most precious thing in the world.

It was after a particularly long day of work that you came home to an empty house. Or so you had thought. Knowing that the others had gone off for a hunting trip that morning and wouldn't be returning till much later you were surprised to hear the quiet sniffles coming from your daughters bedroom. Knocking on the door you wait for a response, your heart breaking when you hear the broken

"Come in" that escapes your daughters lips.

Opening the door you feel your heart breaking that much more when you see Y/N curled up on her bed, hugging close the soft toy that you knew her boyfriend Carter had won for her at the carnival they had been to just weeks before. You make your way to her bed and she looks up, giving you a sad smile

"Hi daddy" she whispers. You sit on the bed next to her and open your arms wide, inviting her in for a hug. She's immediately in your lap, head resting on your shoulder and clinging to the collar on your shirt. You were surprised, Y/N normally wasn't one to show her emotions in such a way and given that vampires couldn't cry this was the closest she had been to truly needing her father in such a long time. You run your hand gently up and down her back as she gently shakes in your arms.

"What is it sweet girl?" You ask. She let's out a shaky breath before she says

"He died daddy, I wasn't there to save him. I should've been there to save him, help him at least and I wasn't. And now he's dead" she says and you raise an eyebrow

"Who sweet girl? Who died?" You ask and she looks up at you, completely heartbroken and suddenly the teddy bear makes sense. It all falls into place and you just hold her closer to you, letting her know that she's not alone, not in her grief and not ever. Eventually the two of you are left sitting in the silence, just holding each other when you lean down and press a kiss on her forehead

"I love you forever my sweet girl". She looks up st you and smiles, a truly happy smile before she places a kiss on your cheek and says

"I love you too daddy".

First Of Many

You had arrived in Volterra after an intriguing couple of months travelling through Russia and Greece. You were eager to return to your mates’ side, after months away from each other separated because he was far too proud to admit that he needed you in his life. You walk through Volterra in the moonlight, its almost two am in the morning, the time you had previously arranged with Demetri to meet. Your walking through the square, about to make your way towards the water fountain when you feel a pair of strong arms wrap their way around your waist and feel soft lips leaving precious kisses in the crock of your neck, you moan before turning in his arms and meet the ruby red eyes of the man you loved so very much. You place your hand on his cheek, using the other hand to conjure a rose from the ground, your ability to control plants coming in handy when you want to do something special for your man. He smiles as he takes the rose and sniffs it before he leans down, and captures your lips in a heated embrace, the first of many kisses in your reunion you’re sure.

“I missed you so much you stubborn fool” you whisper and he chuckles before placing a kiss on the tip of your nose

“I missed you too my dearest. But our time apart gave me so much clarity and an understanding as to my feelings towards you” he says and you look up into his eyes, confused, raising an eyebrow at him and saying

“Oh?”. He places a hand on your cheek before pressing a gentle kiss on your lips before he says

“It seems that our distance was what I needed to work out how I truly feel about you my dearest. And I truly believe that I love you, with every part of my being, there’s no denying my feelings for you”. You beam up at him, turning your head into the palm of his hand and placing a kiss there

“I love you too Demetri, with my entire being” you say and he beams at you. He laces his fingers with yours as the two of you make it back towards the castle looming over the city, and back towards your room.

Imagine being jasper and alices (Black) adopted 14 year old daughter(with a 3 year old sister) who’s really into soccer but one day at a game the reader gets hurt badly and can’t play in championship which devastates her. When she comes home(foot in a boot) Jas and Alice and her younger sister cheer her up with lots of fluff if possible please and thank you

When you had met Alice and Jasper three years ago you and your little sister Ebony had been newly added to the system, your mother had been killed in a random drive-by shooting and your father had never been in the picture, Ebony’s father had been arrested and thrown in prison just months before her birth. To start with you had been fostered by the couple, Alice and Jasper were very active in your lives, caring for you more than anyone ever had before, it wasn’t hard to fall in love with them and start thinking of them as mum and dad. They encouraged you in everything you attempted, you were an eager sportswoman, playing soccer and basketball whilst also doing piano lessons, whilst still managing to keep your grades up. You were the top of your year level and Alice and Jasper would always treat you to a special Sunday whenever your report card came home. You loved their family too, immediately taking a shine to Emmett who was just as sports-mad as you were. You adored Carlisle and Esme who always doted on you and Ebony and even Edward enjoyed his time with you, the two of you spending hours at the piano, playing together. On your 12 birthday, Alice and Jasper had come to you asking if they could formally adopt you, making you and Ebony their own children legally, you had cried and told them that it was only a piece of paper, you already considered them as mum and dad. When you were 12 and a half years old and Ebony had just her twentieth month of life you had been summoned in front of a judge, and it was approved you were officially a Hale. At the age of 13, you learned that your parents and their family were all vampires, something that you thought was amazing.

Now though you were a freshman at Forks High School, you had quickly joined the soccer and basketball teams, earning a spot as one of the youngest players on the team, a player with promise as the coach had said when you had passed tryouts just a couple of weeks ago. However, tragedy struck for you on the second soccer game of the season you had been running to kick the ball to send it down to one of your midfielders when a player on the opposing came out and kicked your ankle, you had rolled it before putting pressure on the bone and you felt a searing pain shot through your leg. You let out a scream as you collapsed to the ground

“It hurts, it hurts” you manage to say in between sobs, and then you feel a soft hand on your arm and a calming presence. You look up and see your father kneeling beside you, your mother beside you holding Ebony in her arms as she tries desperately to escape.

“Daddy! It hurts, it hurts” you sob. You watch the pain cross his face before you hear your coach telling you’re father that an ambulance has been called and that you need to be taken off of the pitch. Your father is quick to pick you up in his arms and carries you off to the side of the pitch where he sits in a chair, never letting you leave his lap as your mum places a chair next to you so you can elevate your foot and put some ice on it. Jasper is rubbing soothing circles into your back and trying desperately to even out your fear and pain with his control over emotions, and you can tell that it’s hurting him. Your whimpering now, and trying to breathe through the pain and taking sips of water from your drink bottle. When the ambulance arrives they load you into the back and you refuse to let Jasper go, the paramedics relenting and letting him sit with you on the gurney.

You’re stuck in the hospital for five hours as the Drs discuss the x-ray results and try to decide if you need to have surgery or if they should just put you in a cast and moon boot. It’s another hour before your cast is put on and they a moon boot is fitted, and you’re discharged from the hospital with a pair of crutches as well as a prescription for pain meds. When you arrive back at home everyone is there waiting, Carlisle and Esme have baked you’re favourite treats, chocolate chip biscuits and blueberry muffins, Edward, Bella and Renesmee have picked up your gear and somehow managed to find a signed jersey from one of your favourite soccer players in the op shop in town, you eagerly put it on. Emmett has set up a little area inside the house for you to keep entertained, basically just setting up an indoor basketball hoop in the garage. Rosalie has ensured that you have all the pillows in the world on every sofa and chair in the house so you rest properly. You smile out at everyone thanking them all and they all smile back as Carlisle says

“Of course sweetheart, we wouldn’t want you to be uncomfortable” he says, Esme pops up from next to him and says

“We will do anything you want, so the choice is yours. What are we doing today sweetie?”. You look around the room, at your whole family gathered around you and you smile

“Can we have a Disney princess marathon starting from the beginning? With popcorn and ice cream?” you ask and everyone looks at each other before nodding

“Sure thing baby girl,” Jasper says placing a kiss on your forehead before making sure you make it over to the couch and are comfortable, however, when he goes to leave, to help set things up you shake your head, voice trembling slightly as you say

“Don’t go, daddy, please stay with me” he looks into your eyes, searching them before he leans over and places a kiss on your forehead

“I will never abandon you baby girl,” he says as he sits behind you on the couch and pulls you onto his lap. As the family settles into Snow White your surprised to see how intrigued each of your family members are. Ebony is flitting between Alice’s knee, your side and Esme’s lap, talking animatedly to everyone who will listen, whilst also watching the movie. By the time you have watched Beauty and the Beast you had expected at least one of the men to retreat from the marathon but you look around and find that Edward, Emmett and Carlisle are more entranced by the movies than anyone else. Your another movie into the marathon when you finally feel tired

“I love you, daddy, you too mummy” you whisper before you finally drift off to sleep, peaceful in your daddy’s arms.

Pain

When Carlisle heard that you had been rushed into hospital whilst he had been away on a hunting trip with his family he had rushed to the hospital to be by your side. Alice had seen the future of course and seen you sitting alone on a bed in the emergency department, the mere thought of you being alone without your fiance by your side broke his dorment heart. You look up from your seat in the hospital waiting room and see him, as a smile graces your face.

"Carlisle" you breath. He gives you a soft smile as he sits next to you on the horrible plastic chairs.

"What happened sweetheart?" He asks as he takes your hand in his. You feel tears streaming down your cheeks and realise that you need to tell him the truth.

"I uh got in a fight with one of the guys at work, he tried to assault me when I said that I wasn't going to sleep with him willingly. He then hit me in the ribs and threw me against the wall" you say. Carlisle gasps, in all his time as a doctor he had seen a lot of abuse victims walk into the hospital but never had he thought it would happen to someone he cared so much about.

"Are you alright? He didn't get to rape you did he?" He asks and you flinch at his words, you knew it was Carlisle being thorough but hearing him say those words was a bit too much given your current state.

"He-he tr-tried" you say scrubbing angrily at your face. In an instant your wrapped in the strong comforting arms of your fiance as you cry, trying to deal with the emotions that had been coursing through your body since the attack had happened.

"Shush sweetheart. I've got you, I'm not letting you go ever again" he says. You cling to him, holding him as the sobs leave your body, the pain that you have suffered and the emotional release enough to send you off to sleep.

First Aid

After a rather long day at work, a pounding in your head right behind the eyes, you weren't paying much attention to where you were going. You just wanted to take some pain relief and curl up under your blankets in bed. What you didn't expect to happen was for someone to fling the door open as you were walking passed. Your head goes back, a reaction to the force of the swing from the door.

"Oh fuck" you shout as your hand immediately goes up to pinch your nose, underneath the bone as you tilt your head forward in an attempt to try and stop the bleeding that you can feel trickling down.

"Oh shit Y/N I didn't know there was anyone else on the other side of the door" Emmett says fretting. You give a small smile before you feel the calming presence of your fiance.

"Well done sweetheart, you remembered" Carlisle says his voice sending a slight shiver down your spine at the proximity. You turn to him and give a smug grin, running your free hand along his collar before resting it behind his neck, fiddling with the hair there.

"Well of course, I had the best of teachers giving me my first aid training" you say and he chuckles, turning into a snicker when he hears Emmett making choking noises. You look back over your shoulder and raise your eyebrows at the vampire.

"Oh come now Emmett, surely you must know that playing student when the one you love is your teacher is only the best way to learn" you wink and he gives you a gagging motion before walking off. You turn back to your fiance, giggling. Carlisle places a kiss to the top of your head before he links his arm through yours taking you down the hall towards the bathroom.

"I love you sweetheart" he says and you beam.

"I love you too Carlisle".
