Happy birthday, Douxie, our precious wizard boy!!
On this very special day, we want to make one final announcement from us at the Douxie Zine. With all your support and passion, we’ve raised a whopping $6,300 for our charity The Miracle Foundation. With these funds, we are helping orphans around the world gain a better quality of life and find families to call their own. Because after all, “Family isn't only who you have. It's also who you're with.”
We want to thank again everyone who was involved in this project. The effort and passion each of you put into this zine blows our mind. Just over a year ago this zine was a figment of an idea, unrealized and transitory. But look at us now. We can look back on this and see and feel proud of what this project has created: A stunning book that we can forever hold in our hearts, hundreds of pieces of merch that will hang on pin boards across the globe from Indonesia to Australia to Mexico to Germany, shared inspiration and new-found friendships from among our artists and writers, and the memory of knowing we all shared in something incredibly special and unique in the history of the TOA fandom. We are the proud members of the first Douxie Zine, and we shared this milestone not only among ourselves, but with the people who helped make Douxie the man he is––Aaron and Teny, two of kindest and most inspirational people in the industry today. THANK YOU for all that you’ve done to make this Zine a reality, and for keeping the flame of love alive for our eternal wizard, Hisirdoux Casperan.
