once every two or three months I go back and re-read flashlight. it still hits me every time. have you already written the sequel you once said you would? and if not, will you ever? genuine curiosity, no pressure. still to this day one of my most favorite fics

First off, I’m so sorry it took me so long to reply to this. I honestly wrote a response and then put it in my drafts because I couldn’t quite bear to post it, and then got super busy and distracted, but here it is:
I’m so touched that you re-read flashlight, and I’m so glad that you still enjoy it.
I haven’t written the sequel that I planned; it’s still sitting half finished on my computer. I’d really really love to tell you that I’m going to finish it, because I really would like to, but to be entirely honest I’ve been struggling to find the inspiration to write the rest of it. I’d like to someday find the inspiration to finish it, but I’m not hopeful that that will be the case. At this stage I think it’s unlikely that I’ll finish it, but it that changes I’ll definitely post something on tumblr and twitter to let people know.
