The bunker was empty, silent. It was a Friday night, and of course the guys had gone off to do their own things. You, on the other hand, decided to stay home and catch up on your favorite TV shows.
You had hunted with the guys ever since you met them a couple years ago. You had especially grown to Cas, admiring his loyalty and strength. You did have a slight attraction to him, but you decided to push it off in fear of ruining your friendship.
But you never fully pushed it away.
On the last hunt, you and Cas met an attractive female victim. Her and Cas had instantly “sparked”, and often left you in the dust, a third wheel. And tonight, Cas and her are on a date.
You didn’t think it’d bother you because after all, you and Cas were just friends. But waves of jealousy consumed you the second Cas had ignored you for her.
For goodness sake, he had only known her for a couple of days and he’s known you for years.
As you sit, slightly fuming, you don’t notice Sam’s presence at first.
“Uh, you okay Y/N?” Sam asks, slightly patting your shoulder. You jump at first, but nod slightly.
“Yeah, I’m fine”, you grumble out, a deep set frown on your face. Sam looks at you in doubt.
“You don’t look fine. What’s going on?” Sam takes a seat next to you and gives you his full attention.
You don’t say anything at first, glancing at the bunker doors as if waiting for someone.
“I-Is it about Cas?”, Sam pieces together, eyes narrowed in concentration.
Your face turns pink. “Y-yes.”
Sam gives you a sympathetic look. “Y/N, I’m sorry. Does he know you like him?”
You nod ‘no’ while looking down in your lap. “I, I just didn’t want to ruin everything, you know?”
Sam rubs your hands comfortingly. “You won’t ruin everything, Y/N. I’m sure Cas has feelings for you too, but you guys haven’t said anything yet. And, after all, we can be selfish sometimes. You need to tell him, okay?”
You give a broken smile. “Okay.”
~-~
Cas comes back to the bunker about an hour later. You instantly stand up to greet him, giving him a fake smile.
“How was your date, Cas?”. you ask, observing him for any ruffled clothes, any lipstick stains. You almost sigh in relief when you see none.
“It was alright. I don’t think she had an attraction towards me”, Cas frowns, moving to sit down.
You almost jump up and down in excitement, but once you see the sadness in his eyes, and hear the hurt in his tone, your eyes soften.
“I’m sorry Cas”, you rub his shoulders gently. “Sometimes, dates just don’t go well.”
Cas smiles at you. “Thank you, Y/N.”
Suddenly, you see Sam peeking his head around the corner, but Cas hasn’t noticed yet. He mouths the words “Talk to him” with a huge grin on his face.
Cas notices your sudden tenseness and asks if you’re okay.
You rub the back of your neck, moving to sit next to him. “Um, no. I just really have to tell you something.”
Cas looks at you with concern. “What is it, Y/N?”
You take in a deep breath. “I, kind of, have a huge crush on you”, you say quickly, face turning redder and redder by the second.
Cas looks more confused than before, and you want to go hide in your room and never come out.
“But, I feel no crushing pressure. I’m confused by what you mean.”
You grin slightly. “No, Cas, I mean I really like you, romantically. I have for a long time.”
Cas smiles. “Oh, that’s great, I have feelings for you too!”
You notice Sam dancing in victory, and you can’t help but laugh.
As soon as you turn your head back to Cas, his lips clumsily push onto yours, catching you by surprise.
He breaks away soon, face pink. “I’m sorry. Dean told me that’s how humans show affection.”
You smile softly. “It’s alright, Cas. All you need is some practice”, you move slightly closer to him.
“In fact, do you want to practice now? I’ve got all night”, you grin, placing a soft kiss on his ear.
Cas only stutter out a reply, face a crimson red as he follows you to your bedroom, closing the door with a ‘click’.
And oh boy, Sam would indeed hear that his plan worked.

Title: Team Cap crashing your cabin Part 2
Warnings: None, only mentions of readers’ dead parents.
Summary: Reader hears the story of Team Cap and tells a bit of her own history and also decides to do the right thing and joins the Batallion of Freedom. When everyone is asleep, the reader has a chat with Bucky Barnes.
“…and that is how we ended up becoming fugitives and the government’s Most Wanted,” Clint ended the story. You didn’t laugh. In fact, you had been sitting like a statue for the last fifteen minutes. You hadn’t moved, not even blinked, as you slowly tried to progress the story the Archer and the Patriot had told you, with here and there some comments from Scott and Sam. Wanda and Bucky had been mostly silent since they had walked inside your living room a half hour ago, except from a ‘thank you’ (Wanda) and a grunt that sounded something along the lines of 'thank you’ (Bucky) when you had handed them a cup of hot tea. You thought they needed one, since most of the members of the so called 'Battalion of Freedom’ were looking like they were exhausted and cold. And you hadn’t been mistaken. When you had showed them the living room they had crashed down on your couch and chairs, making your already small looking living room even smaller. You tried to ignore their weapons and strange outfits as you had pardoned yourself and had glipped towards the kitchen, where you had made some tea. Steve Rogers, who seemed to be a gentleman, had politely offered you to help, something you had gladly accepted. After everyone had taken possession of one of the steaming cups of tea (you were still wondering how you had ended up having so many cups, since you were living alone), you had sat down with them and had listened to their story. And what a story they had to tell! From the accident in Wakanda to the Registration Act and then the explosion that had followed in the Congress Building. You had listened in awe as Steve told you about how the government thought it was Bucky Barnes who had caused the explosion but how he had figured out his friend wasn’t guilty. Then he had told you all about the division between the Avengers and how they had picked sides, how they had freed Barnes and had ended up here in the woods, trying to find shelter before they would probably have to face Stark tomorrow.
You felt a shiver sliding down your spine as you thought about some of the strongest heroes fighting each other. If they were already fighting each other, what was going to happen to the rest of the world? But somewhere you also felt a selfish sting of relieve. They weren’t with SHIELD, they were even against them! That didn’t mean having six fugitives in your house put you in a save position. In fact, you felt as though you were more exposed to SHIELD than ever before. But the divided heroes had caught your attention and you couldn’t help but feeling a bit of sympathy for them. That didn’t mean thought that if they would attract SHIELD or the great Iron Man himself to your house you wouldn’t kick their asses.
You didn’t realise you hadn’t moved until Scott’s voice cut through your thoughts and almost scared you. “Are you doing alright?” He asked, a bit of concern showing in his voice. Suddenly you realised how ridiculous you must look, not moving and just staring into an abyss. You let out a nervous chuckle as you ran your hand through your hair. “Eh, sure, I’m doing just great,” you exclaimed, followed by a “This was supposed to be a normal day, damn it.”
Steve, who was sitting at your left, let out a chuckle. “Well, normal is sadly enough not a word we have in our dictionary anymore, I’m afraid,” he said as his eyes locked themselves with yours. You intrigued him, even if he didn’t want to admit it. Instead of calling the cops or throwing them out you had actually listened to their story. And then there was still the way you had looked at them when they had accidently walked into your house, with your gun in front of you and a dark, cold glance in your eyes. Something in that glance had told him that he shouldn’t mess with you and somehow he got the feeling that you could easily 'kick their asses’, as you had put it. But then the threatening glance had disappeared ad you had let them in. You had even offered to make tea! And when he looked at you now, he only saw a sweet girl. But still, he couldn’t forget how you had looked back then, wondering what you were keeping from them. And then there was still the way you had thought they were from SHIELD…
A cough from Sam pulled him out of his train from thoughts. Steve noticed he had been staring at you for a whole minute at least, and a small blush formed on his cheeks. He also coughed and looked away from you (e/c) eyes, which were looking at him with a questioning glare.
“We still have to thank you for what you have done, madame” he spoke, trying to brush off what had happened. “For letting us in, I mean..-”
You cut him off with a wave of your hand. “Don’t mention it,” you said. “And please, quite the whole 'madame’ thing. It makes me feel like my grandma. Just call me (y/n)”
This caused a few of the members of the Battalion of Freedom to chuckle, gladly almost, as if they were now a bit more assured that you wouldn’t kick them out.
“Alright than, (y/n),” Sam began. He was sitting at one of your chairs, but had turned it around so that he was leaning with his arms on the back of it. “Rogers here is right, we own you one. But that still doesn’t explain why you thought SHIELD was after you when we appeared.”
You slowly raised your head, your eyes growing a bit distant, but the Falcon didn’t seem to notice.
“I mean, with all respect, but why would an organisation as SHIELD be after you?” He ignored the look Wanda, who was standing next to him, shot at him.
You couldn’t blame him though. When you looked into a mirror, you only saw…you. A woman in her twenties, with (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. Just a normal girl, really. But then again, never judge a book on its cover. That was what your mother always said. Before she…
You stopped yourself right there, before you would start to think about what had happened all those years ago. You really wanted to prevent crying in front of these people, who were still looking at you with curiosity, hoping you would answer Sam’s question.
“I don’t know if you would like to hear the answer,” you eventually said, surprising everyone when you chuckled softly. “It is a long story.”
“Well, we have got time,” Scott argued. He gestured to the window. It was slowly getting dark, the sound of singing birds had stopped a while ago. “It is not like we can go anywhere else, so…”
He motioned for you to go on. With a soft sight, you leaned back into the couch you were sitting in and started to explain.
‘‘It’s not a secret that SHIELD and I not really mix,’‘ you started, your voice a bit unsure. ‘‘I could tell you a whole story about why not, but the short version is that SHIELD… well, they killed my parents.’‘
You felt the tension in the room rise. From next to you, Steve moved a bit uncomfortably in the couch. ‘God,’‘ he started, his eyes filled with sympathy. ‘‘I’m so sorry to hear that. I understand if you don’t want to-’‘
‘‘Don’t apologise,’‘ you interrupted him, your voice almost emotionless. ‘‘It’s not your fault and it won’t bring them back either.’‘
‘‘Do you want to tell us how it happened?’‘ Wanda asked from the oppiste side of the room. Her voice was soft, but without pity. It sounded more like she knew how it felt and you nodded in response.
‘‘My parents were great,’‘ you continued. ‘‘They were supportive and sweet, they were always there when I needed them…’‘ your voice softned. ‘‘But they had there secrets. One of them being that they had adopted me.’‘
You fiddled with your hands and started to explain the rest of the story:
‘‘I found out when armed men suddenly barged into our house. They called me and my mom down, my father already being there. They told us they were from SHIELD. I thought it was all a mistake, I hadn’t heard of that name before. But my father grew pale. He started to stutter, saying that what he had done was in the past. I didn’t know about what they were talking about. The men from SHIELD said something about me being an experiment and that I should have died were I was born. They talked like they didn’t expect me to know, but I did. You see, my dad used to work for HYDRA,-’‘
The sound of something breaking interrupted your story. Shocked, you looked up to see Bucky holding a broken mug in his metal hand, his expression grim and dark. You turn to Steve, only to see him looking at his friend with an understanding and calm expression. ‘‘Buck, are you alright?’‘ Bucky nodded and waved with his hand. ‘‘I’m fine, go on.’‘ And so you did.
‘‘What I was saying, is that my dad used to work for HYDRA until he discovered what they were doing and wanted to quit. Before they did, however, he found me. I was still a toddler back than, found by HYDRA. It seemed whey wanted to use me for a special project, which they had already started, causing me to develop powers of the time being. When he ran away, my dad took me with him. He succeeded and found a place to hide, where he met my mom, and started a new life. That was until SHIELD found us. They wanted to take me, they said, for my powers. My dad didn’t want to let that happen. He started to fight the agents, calling for my mom and me to run. But one of the agents ended up taking his gun ad shot my father. Maybe it was an accident, but it didn’t make my father any less dead. Afterwards, my mother tried to run towards my dad, but it was too late. They saw her tries as agressive and shot her too. Before I knew it, I’d lost both of my parent at the hands of SHIELD. They still wanted to take me with them, but I got away. Somehow, they never let me go, though. I have been on the run ever since…’‘
That was how you ended your story. For minutes, no one said a word. Until Wanda spoke up, her eyes burning into your (e/c) ones. “I am so sorry to hear about your parents, (y/n),” she said softly. “And I know how it is to be used by HYDRA. But if you didn’t want to be discovered by SHIELD, why did you let us in anyways?”
You smiled a bit, thinking about your strange decision.
“It was a risk,” You said. “But after hearing your story, how the government wants to keep you in line, punish Bucky for something he that wasn’t his fault… I can’t just ignore that. The government…SHIELD… What they did that day when my parents died, was wrong. But I don’t do revenge. Payback maybe, yes. I’ve been hiding for so long, too long. I never wanted to be turned into a weapon. Being a hero isn’t what I am. But I want to do what is right. And I think the right choice now is helping you guys.”
You felt all the eyes on you. “What do you mean with that,” Steve asked softly.
“It means,” you said, clearing your throat, “that I’m going to help you. To win this battle, to free Bucky…’'You shot a glance at the dark haired man.
’'But why?” Scott said. “You don’t even know us.”
“I don’t,” you commented. “But I have had enough of people using us… without letting us chose to. What they want to do is wrong. The least I can do is help.”
When you looked up again you saw something new in their eyes; respect.
Suddenly, Clint cleared his throat. The archer had been leaning back against the wall during your story, nodding here and there, but now decided to speak up.
’’If you don’t mind me asking,’’ he started, focussing his eyes onto you. ‘’But you said HYDRA used to experiment you when you where a toddler, so you got these…powers. But you never mentioned what they were.’’
’’I-’’ you started, but you were interrupted by the sound of your stomach rumbling. You heard Steve chuckle beside you as you felt a blush rise to your cheeks. ‘’I believe I’m hungry,’’ you said. ‘’Listen, how about this. You can stay here tonight and I’ll prepare food for you. Tomorrow, I’ll explain you my powers and if you decide you want my help, I’ll help.’’
The members of the Batallion of Freedom looked each other in the eyes and seemed to get to a silent agreement. You felt a small smile break out on your face. ‘’Great. Now, who wants some potatoes?
Four hours later you woke up from snoring. Grunting, you turned around on your not so comfortable position on the couch. After dinner, you had pointed out where your guests could sleep. After a bit of arguing, Steve had gotten the bed, your bed, even though he had insisted you should take it. But you had argued that he was the one fighting the battle and that he needed some rest. Eventually, he had agreed. Now you were lying on the couch, surrounded by Scott (who had taken a blanket on the floor) and Sam (who was lying on the other, bigger, chair). Sadly enough, Scott was snoring and not so quietly either. After a few minutes, you decided sleeping would be impossible as you stood up, tiptoing around Scott towards the door to get some fresh air. When you opened the door, a soft breeze hit you in the face. You sighted as you walked outside, leaning your arms on the railing of your veranda, looking out into the dark forest.
’’It’s quite a place you’ve got here.’’
A sudden voice startled you and you stopped yourself from screaming. There, a few metres away in the darkness, was Bucky Barnes. The former Winter Soldier had crossed his arms over the railing just as you, his dark eyes gazing over the trees. You chuckled, a bit nervously, and started to make your way towards him.
’’Yeah, I guess I do,’’ you commented, nodding towards the forest. ‘’It’s not big, but it’s enough.’’
Bucky nodded. ‘’I’ve always liked nature,’’ he spoke, surprising you. ‘’I know I haven’t exactly had a chance to enjoy it the last couple of years but now I’m standing here, it really calms me down.’’
’’Ah,’’ you said, nodding, udnerstanding what he meant. Steve had told you a bit about Bucky’s past, how he had been brainwashed by HYDRA and stuff. It had caused you to feel a little bit connected with him, even though you had never seen him before. ‘’You had a nightmare?’’
Bucky shook his head. ‘’Not yet. I just didn’t want to wake anyone in case I had one, so I thought I’d go outside instead.’’
It was quiet for a moment, but that silence was interrupted by your voice.
’’I’m sorry about what HYDRA did to you.’’
Bucky shifted uncomfortably, clearly not ready to speak about it yet. He gave a slight grunt as answer, and the silence took over again.
’’I also love nature a lot, you know. That is why I was so happy when I got this place.’’
Bucky raised his head, looking at you again. You continued to look towards the forest, a small smile playing on your lips.
’’It’s just so…peaceful. No stress about tomorrow, just today. Animals are really good companions, I’ve discovered. They don’t judge.’’
Bucky continued to listen, interested by your words. When you didn’t speak up afterwards, he gave a small grin and waved towards the dark trees.
’’It’s just a pity that you can’t really see anything now in the dark,’’ he commented. You felt a small smirk turn up the cornes of your mouth.
’’Maybe I can do something about that,’’ you said, ignoring the curious look he gave you. Slowly, you opened your hand, closed your eyes and concentrated. A warm feeling spread through your veins and consumed you. When you opened your eyes again, you saw a small flame dancing on the palm of your hand.
’’How..how did you…what?’’ Bucky stumbled speechless, his eyes growing big and staring at the flame in disbelief. ‘’How did you do that?’’
You shrugged and breathed out. Instantly, the flame dissapeared, hulling the two of you in darkness again. ‘’It’s one of my powers,’’ you shrugged. ‘’When HYDRA did the experiments on me, it caused something in my DNA to change. Eventually, I was able to control the elements. It took a lot of practise, but now I’m able to control all of them. That’s why SHIELD wants me.’’
Bucky looked at you, still speechless. You gave him a small smile and walked past him towards the door, giving him a small pat on the shoudler while doing so. ‘’Try to catch some sleep, soldier. Tomorrow is going to be an exhausting day, I think.’’ Without looking back, you walked into your house again, quietly, not wanting to wake the others. The former Winter Soldier was still standing outside, his mind not quit progressing what just had happened. ‘You were a unique person,’ he thought.
Carefully, you slid down on the couch again and closed you eyes, following up your own advise. Today was maybe one of the last normal days you would have. Tomorrow, everything would be different. No hding anymore, isntead you would face those who you had avoided for so long head on. And for the first time, you felt like you were ready for it.
(Gifs not mine)
(So, basically, Team Cap is trying to find a place to hide before they go and battle Tony and his team at the airport (just imagine there are a few days in between those events) and they find a little cabin that looks empty. However, it is your cabin and you are not pleased to find strange people in your house, especially not because you think they are with SHIELD. SHIELD has been trying to talk you into joining them since they discovered your powers).
‘‘Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my house?’‘
You almost had to laugh on seeing the expressions of the people in front of you change from happines, to fear and than to surprise. You didn’t know what exactly they had been expecting when they hade broken into your cabin, but they surely hadn’t expected for a woman to appear behind them with a loaded gun aimed at their faces. On seeing their reactions however, the potentional change for a smile on your face soon dissapeared.
One of the men standing at the front had aimed his gun at you so fast that you didn’t even get the change to breath out. You noticed, slightely shocked, that his left arm in which he held the gun, was completely made of metal. Your attention was drawn away from his arm however as a woman, the only woman in the company, created a strange red smoke above with her hands and looked ready to attack you any moment. But before both of them got the change to do anything, a third man appeared from your left hallway, seeming completely obvious to what was happening because he hadn’t noticed you yet.
‘‘Hey guys, I found a bathroom and-’‘
He didn’t finish his sentence though, because at that moment he saw your gun aimed at his face he jumped back in surprise, his hands in the air.
‘‘Wow! Lady! Eh guys, is this part of the plan? Cap?’‘
‘‘Scott, calm down, it is alright,’‘ a new voice sounded. You tore your eyes away from the guy you were aiming at currently as a new man stepped forwards. With a slight shock you noticed his familiar looking outfit. Oh god, this couldn’t be true…
‘‘I am sorry, madame,’‘ the blonde man spoke, a friendly yet slightly alarmed smile on his face. ‘‘We didn’t mean to scare you, we actually thought no one lived here.’‘
You had to resist the need to scoff. ‘‘I don’t know whether I should feel comforted or offended. It also doesn’t really help that Terminator and Wichy over there are looking like they are about to tear my face apart.’‘
The man looked aside like he only realised that now. He locked eyes with the handsome, metal armed men who was still aiming his gun at you, and nodded. Slowly, the metal armed man lowered his gun just as the woman’s magic dissapeared. You couldn’t help but think about how familiar they looked… But your thoughts were interrupted when the man in front of you spoke again.
‘Maybe we should introduce ourselves. I am Steve Ro-’
Wrong words.
As soon as you heard his name, the things clicked all together. The familiar looking suit, the dark haired man and the woman with the magic… These were Captain freakin’ America, the Winter Soldier and Scarlett Which. And however others would be honoured and happy at the sight of them (or well, at Cap’s sight at least) you only became angry. Because Cap worked with SHIELD. And if they were here, SHIELD couldn’t be far away. And you did not want SHIELD to find you to use you for your powers, not after all this effort you had made to keep yourself hidden, including buying this little cabin in the woods. And you had succeeded in being hidden, until this man and his Battalion of Freedom decided to pick your lock and barge into your house.
On seeing your angered expression Cap’s hands shot up in a surrendering way, but the others in the room tensed up. “Okay, I see that you aren’t happy to see us then,” Cap spoke. You gritted your teeth.
“How far away are they?”
“Who?”
“SHIELD, of course.”
Now, a man who hadn’t spoken before spoke up. He wore a strange looking suit but you didn’t know who he was.
“We aren’t with SHIELD, madame,” he said, looking at the others if they knew anything.
You scoffed. “Sure, and I live in a villa.”
The man you had aimed your gun at in the beginning chuckled nervously. “Well, you could definitely say that…-”
“Oi! You were the ones barging into my house, remember? And don’t play tricks with me, I have heard enough of those,” you interrupted him, feeling slightly offended.
You noticed that Scarlett Wich, or Wanda Maximoff, had come closer and you eyed her supsicously.
“He spoke the truth, we aren’t with SHIELD.” She started. “In fact… we are quite the opposite now.”
You narrowed your eyes at her words. She sounded sad, you realised. Eventually, you decided to give the burglars a change. “Very well,” you sighted. “But if anyone here tries anything, I will put you down. And trust me, you do not want that to happen.”
You could see the questions in their eyes, but you also saw that the serious glance in yours had convinced them. You lowered the gun and pointed towards the living room. “Go on, take a seat,” you said. “I have got a feeling we have got a lot to explain.” Shaking your head, you looked as the people walked towards your living room. ‘Oh (Y/n),’ you thought. 'What have you gotten yourself into?’

Disneyland - Steve Rogers
Hey, I was wondering if you could do a Steve Rogers x reader where they go to Disneyland with the rest of the avengers. Thanks :) I love your writing by the way.
N/A: thank you, sweetie! I hope that you like it!
You were excited. In addition to finally have a week off, away missions and bad guys away from explosions and gunfire, out of trouble heroes… It was the week of your birthday. So when were given the news you ran you to your room, turned on the computer and quickly scheduled the best hotel room to stay one whole week at Disneyland. And things got even better when Steve, your boyfriend appeared with his bags ready to go with you.
On the first day, you were with Mickey ear hat, visiting all the places with Steve firm holding your hand. He laughed thinking how cute was your almost childlike animation, loving you even more for this pure feeling. But then on the third day, you were awake in the middle of the night with a suspicious noise in the living room, seeing that Steve was not sleeping on your side, you raised frightened from the bed and ran to where the noise was coming, ready to fight… But you just found all the avengers preparing a surprise party there. When they saw you they shouted “Surprise!” between laughter and grumbling as they were discovered. But you could only smile foolishly, a happiness that could not fit inside the chest.
“Aw, thanks, guys! I’m really the right place! "You said sniffling quietly, but not stop smiling. Steve was the first to come hold you, murmuring ‘I love you’ and kissing the top of your head before all the others came to hug you in a group hug.
Imagine Steve being embarrassed
You stacked the last of the dishes into the dishwasher and grabbed the keys from the counter ready to lock up the diner. On the way to the door you saw a blonde haired man, he seems to be…using his reflection in the window to straighten his hair or something? You opened the door and stepped out onto the street.
“What are you doing?“ you asked eyebrows raised and an amused look on your face.
"I-I..” He started looking extremely embarrassed.
That’s when you recognised him the blonde hair, blue eyes, this was Captain America, the Captain America.
“How about we’ll just forget I saw anything if you walk me home?” You interrupted.
He nodded and you had to stop yourself from bursting out laughing at the grateful look he gave you, the whole situation was just too funny.
"I’m (Y/N).“
"Steve.” He replied with a sheepish grin.

“Ugh, my head”, you groan out, slightly rubbing your head to try to ease the relentless pounding in your skull.
“Hello Y/N”, you jump when you hear a voice close to your bed. After recovering from your surprise, you see Cas sitting on a chair next to your bed.
“Gosh, Cas, don’t scare me like that”, you mumble, still rubbing your head.
He sits next to you. “Does your head hurt?”, he asks, tilting his head curiously.
You mumble a short ‘yes’, before Cas gently puts his hand on your head, using his grace to heal your hangover.
You sigh in relief. “Thanks Cas, you’re the best.”
“You’re welcome, Y/N”, Cas gives you a heartwarming smile.
An comfortable silence fills the room before you break it. “Not to be rude, or anything, but can I help you with something?”
Cas’s face instantly turns red. “Um”, he clears his throat. “Yes, actually. It’s about last night.”
You don’t remember much from the previous night. You remember agreeing to do a game night, but nothing else.
“I’m sorry Cas, I really don’t remember anything from last night”, you say, rubbing the back of your neck.
He lets out a short ‘oh’, almost in disappointment.
“What is it Cas?”, you ask, confused by his sudden change in behavior.
“You don’t remember touching my wings?” Cas looks straight in your eyes.
You nod ‘no’. “I’m really sorry Cas. I was drunk and I didn’t mean to invade your personal space”, you say sincerely.
Cas sits in silence for a while before speaking. “Y/N.. Do you know why our wings are special?”
You again nod ‘no’, but are very curious now.
“Our wings are shown to our mates, and since you can see mine…”, Cas trails off, looking at the floor.
You widen your eyes in shock. “You mean other people can’t see your wings?”
Cas chuckles. “No, Y/N. Just you”, he smiles.
Your face flushes red. “O-oh.”
“Do you want to know another thing about angel wings?” Cas has moved a lot closer to you now.
“They’re sensitive, really sensitive”, he smirks as you turn redder.
“So I have a question, Y/N”, Cas moves closer to your ear.
“Do you want to touch my wings again?”

“Really, Dean?” you raise your eyebrows as you view the blanket on the bunker floor surrounding by cases of beer.
Dean grins. “Hell yeah. Game night!”
“Sam agreed to this?”, you question, not seeing the younger Winchester anywhere.
“Yep”, Sam chirps behind you, effectively making you jump.
“God, Sam, don’t do that”, you murmur, lightly smacking his arm.
Sam only frowns, eyes morphing into plead. “Pleaseee Y/N?”
Practically melting at his gaze, you reluctantly agree.
The night started out simple, just card and board games. But after an hour, two cases of beer were empty, and you were all quite tipsy.
Suddenly, Sam’s eyes light up. “Let’s play truth or dare!”
You giggle, slightly covering your mouth. “Okay!”
“Rock, paper, scissors on who goes first”, Dean smiles excitedly.
Dean obviously picks scissors, but Sam picks rock. He turns to you and chooses paper this time, but you choose scissors.
“I guess I get to go first then”, you giggle softly. Scrunching your eyes in concentration, you try to decide who to pick first.
“Dean, truth or dare?”
Dean grins cockily. “Dare, duh.”
“I dare you… to drink this bottle of ketchup”, you grin maniacally, getting up to fetch the bottle from the fridge.
Dean decides to chug it, which was a very, very poor idea. In less than a minute, he’s spluttering the ketchup in the sink, not being able to drink anymore, causing Sam and you to laugh hysterically.
Once Dean’s cleaned up and regained himself, he sits back in the circle.
“Okay, Sammy, truth or dare?”
Sam ponders for a minute, before deciding to go with truth after seeing your dare.
“When’s the last time you’ve done it?” Dean smirks, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
“Last night”, Sam deadpans, a smirk slowly forming on his face.
You and Dean make a face. “Ewwwwwww Sammy that’s gross”, you stick out your tongue playfully.
“Truth or dare, Y/N?”
(You guys get to pick which one you choose~)
You decide to pick truth.
“Truth”, you answer, ignoring Dean’s chicken sounds.
Giggling, Sam asks, “Do you prefer top or bottom?”
“Both”, you say without hesitation, grinning with confidence, making both Dean and Sam widen their eyes.
“Damn”, they both mutter out, looking at you with awe.
You decide to pick dare.
“Dare”, you give a confident smile.
“Wait, you can see Cas’s wings right?”
You nod, slightly blushing at the thought of Cas.
“I dare you to touch them. Right now”, Sam tries to conceal his chuckles.
Suddenly, you can hear the flapping of wings behind you.
“You called?”, he asks, tilting his head in confusion.
Sam lightly pushes you up so you’re standing in front of him.
“Mm hi Cas”, you slur out, clutching onto his back. Cas looks and the brothers confused, but holds you awkwardly anyway.
Without warning, you run your hands through his wings, feathers soft and silky. Cas lets out an unexpected groan, face flushing red. “Y/N… Please don’t aah~”, you run your fingers over his wings again, relishing in the softness.
“They’re so soft, Cas”, you giggle out, entranced by his wings.
Sam and Dean are hysterically laughing, rolling on the floor. Cas hastily separates himself from you. He mutters, “You’re drunk”, before flying away quickly, leaving you confused.
“What?” you ask, scratching your head.
This would be a fun conversation tomorrow.

*~*~*
“Castiel,” Hannah began, “I am sorry brother, but you have to choose a side.”
“What do you mean?” Castiel asked in confusion, furrowing his eyebrows. “Either you cut all ties with Y/N and the Winchesters and fight with us, or you fall from grace like Lucifer.”
Cas nodded, understanding the graveness of the situation. He didn’t want to be like his brother, banished from ever stepping foot in heaven again, but he also knew he couldn’t lose you. You had become his new heaven.
“I understand.” Castiel nodded, then flashed out of heaven. “And I will always choose the Winchesters and Y/N. Everytime.”
Hannah nodded. She knew that Castiel would choose his friends, but she had hoped that he would choose heaven and her.
In an instant, Castiel was thrown out of heaven and began falling to earth at millions of miles a second. Pain shot across his wings as the silky white color he had always loved, turned into a dark black.
For you, Castiel thought, it was all worth it.
(I’m an angel with a shotgun, shotgun, shotgun, An angel with a shotgun, shotgun, shotgun.) Get out your guns, battle’s begun. Are you a saint or a sinner? If love’s a fight then I shall die With my heart on a trigger.
Castiel landed with a thud on the cool earth. He allowed himself to flash to the bunker where he knew you would take care of him.
“Cas!” You rushed over to his side when he appeared on the couch. “What happened?”
He gave you a small smile as you took his hand. “I choose you.”
“What?” You asked confused.
“I’m going to fight with you.” He said, before his eyes closed.
“Dean!” You yelled, “Get in here.”
“I’m busy!” You heard him yell back.
You didn’t want to leave Cas like this, but you knew that the oldest Winchester would know what to do. Determined, you stomped down the hall and into his room.
“I said I was busy.” Dean turned around.
“Cas is here.” You told him.
“What?” Dean asked.
“There’s something wrong with him but I don’t know what it is.” You told him.
In an instant, Dean grabbed your hand and dragged you out of his room and down the hall to Cas.
“Cas,” Dean called out frantically as he dropped your hand and rushed over to his side.
“Dean.” Cas gave him a weak smile. “Where is Y/N?”
At the mention of your name, you rushed over, picking up his hand and giving it a tight squeeze. “What happened, Cas?”
“I fell from grace.” He told you quietly. “I am okay now.”
“You’re sure?” Dean asked him. “If you need to sit on the sidelines for this fight, that’s okay.”
Cas looked at you and smiled. “I will fight.”
They say before you start a war, You better know what you’re fighting for. Well, baby, you are all that I adore. If love is what you need, a soldier I will be.
The fight. When you saw Cas in the state he was in, the thought of a war totally slipped your mind. Although you didn’t approve of rogue Angels, they didn’t deserve to be smitten down. You and the Winchesters had sworn to protect them, and now that Cas had fallen from grace, he was in trouble too.
“Cas, if Heaven finds you they’ll smite you down.” You told him worried.
Cas smiled at you and held your hand tighter. As long as you were safe, he didn’t care what happened to himself. “They will not find me, Y/N. Do not worry.”
“How can I not worry about you?” You furrowed your eyebrows.
Cas slowly began to sit up, making you instantly rush over to his side. You placed your hand on his lower back in an effort to dodge his sore wings. Once Cas was standing, he looked down and extended his hand, lightly cupping your cheek.
“We will fight together.” Cas told you. “Nothing can happen to you when I am by your side.”
“I’m not worried about me,” You reminded him. “I’m worried about you.”
“Nothing will happen to me either, Y/N. I promise.” Cas gave you a smile.
You leaned into his touch and placed your hand over his. “I’m holding you to that.”
Cas smiled down at you before grabbing the two angel blades on the table and handing you one.
“Ready?” He asked.
You smiled and took his hand. “Always.”
I’m an angel with a shotgun, Fighting ‘til the war’s won, I don’t care if heaven won’t take me back. I’ll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe. Don’t you know you’re everything I have? And I wanna live, not just survive tonight. Sometimes to win, you’ve got to sin. Don’t mean I’m not a believer. And major Tom will sing along. Yeah, they still say I’m a dreamer
Cas flashed you out of the bunker and to a quiet field far away from civilization. Fallen or not, the Angels didn’t want humans getting hurt.
“Brother, when did you go dark side?” Lucifer appeared from behind you. “Welcome to the team and now who is this lovely human?”
“She’s helping us fight.” Castiel gave you a reassuring squeeze.
Lucifer smirked. “Glad to know you’re one of Father’s intelligent apes.”
You scoffed. “Still have daddy issues, Lucifer? I thought being on a time out for centuries would have fixed that awful temper of yours.”
Lucifer let out a hoot of laughter and nudged Castiel’s arm. “You hold onto her, brother. She’s a keeper.”
“I intend to.” Cas told him with all seriousness.
“Right, well, I’m going to go round up the other rogue Angels. You two stay safe.” Lucifer told us as he walked away.
“You too.” You called out after him. Lucifer turned around and gave you a grateful smile before jogging off.
“Castiel.” a voice called out from behind you. In an instant, Castiel had pushed you behind him as he talked to the angel standing tall.
“Samandriel.” Cas huffed out.
Samandriel raised up his blade, giving Cas a solemn glance. “You brought this upon yourself, brother.”
Samandriel leaped into action, charging towards Castiel with his blade raised high in the air. Cas blocked the angry angel’s blade and side-stepped, making Samandriel angrier.
The soft sound of feet padding across the grass snapped you out of your thoughts. You spun around, raising your angel blade up and countering an attack.
“Who are you?” the Angel asked.
“I could ask you the same question?” You remarked, pushing the blade back.
“Why is a human fighting on the fallen angel side?” The Angel scoffed.
You thought of Castiel and smiled. “Because I believe in these Angels.”
They say before you start a war, You better know what you’re fighting for. Well, baby, you are all that I adore. If love is what you need, a soldier I will be. I’m an angel with a shotgun, Fighting 'til the war’s won, I don’t care if heaven won’t take me back. I’ll throw away my faith, babe, just to keep you safe. Don’t you know you’re everything I have? And I wanna live, not just survive tonight. Oh, oh whoa whoa oh whoa
Castiel solemnly pierced Samandriel in the stomach, sending him to the ground. “I am sorry, brother.” Castiel gently laid the Angel on the floor as he took his last breaths.
When Castiel saw that you were fighting another one of his siblings, he quietly rushed behind and stabbed the Angel.
“Y/N,” Cas pulled you into his arms. “Are you okay?”
You hugged Cas back, never wanting to let go. “I’m fine. How are you.”
Cas looked down at you. Safe and sound. “Everything is perfect.”
With the war over and everyone he cared about safe, Cas allowed himself to smile. “C’mon Y/N, you need to get some rest.”
He zapped the two of you back to the bunker and held you in his arms as you drifted off to sleep.
I’m an angel with a shotgun.
Fighting 'til the war’s won. I don’t care if heaven won’t take me back.
