Jess recognized the man immediately. She haven't seemed him in months after she left to go traveling on her own. After all of this time, he finally showed up. And what was he doing? Chowing down on some pastries in a bakery. She couldn't help but to laugh, shaking her head.

"Oh Doctor. You haven't changed one bit." She muttered to herself before making her way over to the bakery. Standing right behind him. "Enjoying the samples?"

"They are rather good," he smiled as he got up and offered a hug out to her. "It's good to see you. Why did you invite me to this spot? Is there something wrong?"

Jess reached over to hug him close. "Oh, there's nothing wrong. I just wanted to see you. It has been months since I last saw you. After all, you're my closest friend." She pulled away a bit, smiling over at him.

"Oi! What are you doing out there, lass?" Scrooge saw the young woman standing outside alone. He made a mad dash over there. He was there with his family to explore the cemetery to look for a family member that had a secret that they took to the grave. His family was further ahead of him but he took notice of the woman and decided to help her.

"Are you alright?" He asked her in concern.

She'd escaped Whitby. Friends had attempted to end her life, to "save" her by attempting to stake her and cut off her head. Lucy had run until she couldn't run anymore. She'd left her coffin behind, but found sanctuary in this quiet place -- or what had once been quiet.

The sound of a man's voice cutting through the silence pulled her attention from the ground. She'd been lost in thought, attempting to find a way to continue on with this broken life with no friends, no family, and no maker to teach her.

"I... I don't know where I am," she admitted truthfully. Hands plated absently, nervously at the fabric of her gown. "Am I in London?"

Scrooge had expected to encounter an banshee or ghosts around these parts. But he never thought of encountering a girl that was in distressed. From the look of her, she was about the same age as his daughter, Webby.

"Hey, it's alright Lass." He said calmly to her in his Scottish accent, feeling sorry for her. "Yes, you are. Though I'm only a visitor. My name is Scrooge Mcduck." He introduced himself with a smile.

"Oh, excuse me. I'm so sorry." Jess looked at the other she bumped into. Thank goodness she didn't spill her coffee on him. Otherwise this encounter wouldn't of been so pleasant.

"Are you alright? You'll have to forgive me. My thoughts were elsewhere. I should really watch where I'm going." She let out a nervous laugh.

"No your okay, I should have looked where I was going" Blade spoke as he looks at Jess with a kind smile on his face "Name's Blade, Blade Moxley" he said as he held out his hand to her "It's nice to meet you, even though we both bumped into one another" he giggles.

"Nice to meet you, Blade." Jess put the cup of coffee in her other hand while her free hand was offered to the man. "I'm Jess. Jess Nova." She introduced herself with a small smile.
