Help Mexico

As you may or may not know, recently there were two huge eartquakes on my country, one on September 7 (intensity 8.4) affecting mostly the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas, and the other one on September 19 (intensity 7.1) but affecting Mexico City and other states in the center of the country.

Us who live houndreds of miles away just gape at the non-stop transmissions from the disaster areas watching people work day and night with  the hope of rescuing others from under the collapesed buildings —apartment buildings, office buildings, schools. Many people were left homeless, people who already belonged to the poorest section of the population,

My friend told me it feels so surreal, as if we were watching an old documentary. I didn’t know how to cheer her up, so I decided to create this post to raise awareness and also in the hope that it reaches those who wish and are able to help.
