Play Life Cycles at Itch.io!

Oggie's peaceful (if somewhat boring) world is turned upside down one day, when a ladybug infiltrates the glade he and the other aphids call home. From there on, regardless of the choices he makes, his life won't ever be the same again... Join Oggie as he navigates his newly expanded world, and tries to uncover something he can't quite remember.

A short character driven RPG about an unlikely duo. Though not strictly a horror game, there are horror elements (kidnapping, blood, gore, cannibalism), so please tread carefully if you are sensitive to these subjects!

Game has 2 routes, each taking roughly 30 minutes to complete, with each route having 4 endings (8 total).

Finally continuing Sonic Prime with my friend, reaching the end of season 2… Nine my Bud you are tearing me apart.

The idea of Sonic and Nine’s dynamic from both their perspectives…. Sonic instinctively loving and trusting him because regardless of universe that’s his little buddy, even if circumstances are different he’s still his little bro at his core…. Nine thinking he finally has a friend and someone who loves him and trusts him, only to suddenly get the sinking feeling that sonic doesn’t care about HIM, he cares about ‘Tails’, this person he was ‘supposed to be’ but isn’t.

And like, Sonic DOES care about him, but from Nine’s perspective it’s so easy to just see it as him being a temporary replacement until Sonic can get his ‘real’ friend back.

And Sonic making it worse because he DOES keep slipping up and calling him tails. I think a part of him doesn’t fully factor in that Nine IS different on a fundamental level because of his experiences. This is a version of Tails who grew up without Sonic there to protect him, to encourage him. And that has shaped Nine differently, and I feel like Sonic is of the mind that once he fixes the universe, then everything will just Be Okay. Nine will be happy now, so everything he went through won’t matter anymore.

I know Things that Happen but gosh I’m not ready for them….
