Got one quibble: well fitted surgical, kn95, and n95 masks can keep ~94% of covid-sized particulate from reaching your lungs. Quality masks protect you as much as they protect others. This pared with vaccination and distancing should keep you from being infected if you are only exposed for a short time. I’ll try and remember to post some sources later, but there’s info about this floating around twitter as a mask efficacy test run by Sihk medical workers came out just last week and has a lot of good info.

These masks are made in my home state and test at 96% filtration despite being ear loop masks. Behind-the-head straps tend to filter better, but this design gives you an excellent seal, doesn’t touch your lips, and fits under a cloth mask to help preserve it’s longevity (and for fashion: let’s be honest).
