Acidic tears rolled down the girls face as she hurried away from the bar, sniffling and gritting her teeth. She should have suspected something was up when her boyfriend had left her on read multiple times after saying he couldn't make it to their date night due to family reasons.... she should have known.
Said family reasons turned out to be another girl, who his lips and hands were attached to. Not a sight the poor girl wanted to see. And so here she was, her thick eyelashes coated in droplets and her h/c hair stuck to her face.
She let herself fall to the cobbled pavement, shivering as the harsh night air assaulted her bare legs. But she didn't care... she was running on pure adrenaline. However, she did kinda wish she didn't wear this short dress without tights underneath.
"You okay, cupcake?" A familiar voice rung out, and her e/c hues shot back open. Before her was Vi, a woman she knew all too well. They had befriended each other during a shared class and since then, they had made small talk whenever they saw each other. And she couldn't help but catch Vi's eye whenever they were in the same room.

Even if her heart was to stop beating... she was the only thing she had ever needed.
Vi was infatuated, intoxicated even, with the woman- her icy hues watching her every moment whenever they were together. Love was never something she wanted to experience again, she just wanted to distance herself from people so she could find her beloved sister. But [y/n] had to go and change all of that.
"Hey, are you evening listening to me?" The h/c haired girl whined, the straw from her drink ghosting her lips as she stared at Vi.
Speak of the fucking devil.
"Sorry, got lost in thought" Vi murmured as she rested her chin in the palm of her bandaged hand and [y/n] pouted, poking her slightly. The two had met properly months prior after Vi had left prison, but she could have sworn she recognised the girl from the undercity.
The girl grinned as she leaned back in the barstool, playing with the ice cubes in her empty drink as she batted her thick eyelashes at the maroon haired boxer.
"I can't even remember what I was saying now... oops!" [y/n] beamed as she playfully punched Vi, a smirk gracing her lips ever so slightly due to the feeble punch.

Having grown up in the undercity, having luxuries was something completely unknown to them. Clean air was a completely foreign concept, riches and wealth things they could only dream of. They were lucky if they could afford to feed themselves after all.
However, that all changed when they partnered up with a crime group on a whim.
They only joined to earn some money so they could live, but after each mission- they were left wanting more. Not because of the actual activities, no. Because of the groups leader.
He was an older man, but he had a youthful hint in his eyes on occasion- so it would be hard for [Y/N] to guess his actual age. He was tall, slim, always smoking cigars with his lithe fingers. However, the thing that stood out about him the most was the long scar running down the side of his face- paired with a blood red eye.
He was known as the most dangerous man in Zaun, but they never felt that way about him. Every time they were near him, they were overwhelmed with a sense of comfort…and they did not know why. And now here they were, sat in the nightclub owned by their boss, thinking about said boss.
