tbh Michael Burnham is an appealing character to me because she was a Gifted Kid who lived her life to please her parents who ignored her many self-destructive behaviors because she was Achieving(tm) and had an incredibly messed up relationship with her sibling then grew up to be shining star to the point of reaching supernova and blowing up her entire life. Amazingly social awkward. No game. Started dating when she was old as hell. Can’t figure out her emotions for the life of her. People look to her for leadership meanwhile she’s reciting children’s books under duress and is trying to reach a galaxy-wide record of mommy and daddy issues. A true legend among us.

This is how a saffi fancomic would look like if I ever made one - all I need is time, the will, and audacity

Caity Lotz as Sara Lance showing that it doesn’t matter what kind of costume and name she has:

- Black or White Canary

- a ladies dress or a cowboy hat

the strength comes from whithin and the power in her eyes

Goodbye Sara Lance

As a Sara fan I am actually absolutely happy they cancelled the show. I know this sounds ridiculous, but for me it was a torture to watch a character that has nothing to do with Sara Lance, but being called and referred to as Sara Lance. Even Caity Lotz had said that she is playing different character on Legends than the one on Arrow. Anyway for me her story ended when she became Paragon of Destiny. In my head cannon, her ending was how she remained protector of time for eternity, as a hero bigger than anyone. She was never killed, cloned, impregnated through saliva, she has a team that will put being a legend first and do everything to protect their captain, and a life partner that is fierce independent leader of her own, not a clone creation of an abominable douche, with one characteristic that defines her personality, and achievement of being co- to her wife. She achieved happiness and growth by showing emotions and talks about her pain, letting people help her, seeing that she saved and inspired people, and that her choice of life being a protector of many was not wasted and the people she loved do not suffer.

Sara Lance deserved better

It is so funny how all those people now on twitter cry how Sara Lance deserved better, because the writers left her pregnant in jail, although they pretty much knew that the show might get cancelled. The irony is these writers never cared to give good ending for Sara. But I am sorry but Sara Lance deserved better long time ago. And she got this ending because all shippers cared was for Sara to be bare and pregnant.

She deserved better when they made her say I love you to Ava, after they compared her with Darhk, and made her sister killer give her love pep talk.

She deserved better when they decided to torture her for avalance angst and most of her stories were ignored and sidelined because she can't show emotions that is not about avalance angst.

She deserved better when they killed her and cloned her offscreen only to make her another clone like Ava.

She deserved better when her superpower was used for more visual representation of her being killed and tortured.

She deserved better when she wasn't allowed to process her new identity or explore her new soul, because she needed to plan a wedding, which she couldn't even invite her own family.

She deserved better when they demoted her to co-captain because they couldn't find purpose for Ava on the show.

Goodbye Sara Lance, You were my hero, my inspiration, my confort character for very long time, and I am not sorry I won't see you pregnant in jail, I suppose the shippers can write a fan fiction about it.
