These two idiots kill me because what Crowley is hearing from Aziraphale is, “I am able to look past your demonic nature because I love you so much, but if there was a way, I would change that part of you” and what Crowley wants to hear is, “I look at all of you and I love all of you”

Meanwhile Aziraphale’s actually saying, “I love every version of you that I’ve known, but I miss the smile you had when I met you and I would give anything to bring that joy back”

"objectively physically attractive but in possession of negative rizz" is one of my favorite character concepts. i think it's so great when there's an absurdly hot person who's just a complete fucking loser. the mood is unsalvageable the moment they open their mouth kind of deal. you get no bitches because you're so sucks.

Translation:

Hey, people. Today we're cooking a little puppy to serve with the rice we have over there. We let it simmer for a while.

Ten minutes later, there it is, a bit brown, we stir it a little and let it simmer for another 10 minutes.

Now it must be almost done... Yeah, it's almost done to perfection. I'm gonna give it 5 seconds more... Uh? My mother's calling, I'm gonna check what does she want.

Oh, damn it...! I left it like 5 minutes... (gasps) it's burned, it's burned it'sburnedit'sburnedit'sburned. We'll have to leave this recipe for other day. No, look how it ended up! it's charred, completely charred

it’s so bizarre when animated American films are set in a certain location and then only certain characters have the accents of that place. It makes no damn sense!! like

WHY IS SHE MORE FRENCH THAN THE REST OF THEM???

WHY ARE THESE GUYS MORE SCOTTISH THAN THE KIDS??

(also, aren’t they Vikings or something?)

To be fair, almost everyone in Ratatouille does have a French accent. The real question is why Linguini and also all the rats sound intensely American

If it was just the rats I’d say it’s because the movie can be interpreted to mean that the rats understand but don’t necessarily speak human languages so the rat dialog isn’t literally taking place the way we see it but that doesn’t explain why Linguini has a rat accent

LINGUINI HAS A RAT ACCENT

Do we ever hear like

For sure that Linguini grew up in France tho?

It could be possible he’s just an American immigrant

I mean his name is Alfredo Linguini so I always assumed he was Italian

I’m sorry his first name is Alfredo?

What

ALFREDO???

he’s American you guys his mother was American it was mentioned in the beginning

I’m sorry, I’ve moved on to the fact his mother was going through her cupboard for baby names

Alfredo was a name before it was a sauce let’s go over the movie from the top again

This is Alfredo di Lelio (right) the inventor of fettuccine Alfredo, he’d come out to the table and make it in front of you by hand

The chap on the left is an airport

italian monk subsisting on nothing but communion wafers and holy water dies at 300 years old, body instantly disintegrates into salt. earthly remains fell into the shape of words that confirm his entering heaven at the moment of death. "not worth it" reads the salt, "wish i had sex instead"
