Remixing Absurdity

A little gift for a friend of their Yuan-ti divination wizard!! Her arcane focus is a polished bronze mirror and I went for a more gorgon-inspired approach to Yuan-Ti 🐍⚜️🪞 Didn’t expect to take that long a break but finally back to making some character designs!! I felt really out of practice going into this and struggled quite a bit but I was able to get her done finally so that’s a win! (also I’ll be opening commissions at the end of this week so keep an eye out if your interested!)

A card game based on the popular Prime Video series Good Omens is on the way. 

Last night, Renegade Game Studios announced that they were producing a Good Omens card game, with box art featuring Michael Sheen and David Tennant’s depictions of Aziraphale and Crowley. Details about the card game were scarce, but the game will have three different versions – one for hobby stores, one for Barnes & Nobles, and one for Amazon. Each version will have some cosmetic differences in addition to different card art. More details will likely be revealed soon, as the game is due out for release in May of this year.

I really feel like Television should enter an era of allowing happy endings. That’s not to say characters can’t suffer along the way or that storylines can’t be “dark” but I would really like to see stories end on hopeful notes. I’m so sick of every story having tragic endings, especially considering the world we live in right now. Call me naive, I don’t care, but hope breeds hope. Love breeds love. Happiness breeds happiness. Allowing our characters to overcome and find the light in the end is powerful. Allowing characters to be happy is brave because happiness is not boring. I feel like we’re surrounded by dark stories in fiction and in reality and I find myself wondering where’s the hope and happiness.. is no one overcoming the darkness?

So does Tris mostly accidentally creating a water spout bc she tried to dump water on some dudes about to fight her friends who she didn't even really consider her friends yet

Daja just going 'okay, well, I have a staff and YOU tried to hurt one of my friends' to a whole group of older kids?

Briar turning around for the same fight and going 'oh yeah gotta go back up my sist- I mean these people I totally don't care about'?!

I mean literally WILL NOT ALLOW IT this is not like 'hah hah they will charge in and remove the situation' I mean Sandry will simply tie you to your body and be like 'nope'

You think you can die on these kids' watch if they decide they love you? You'd better be a continent away in a remote village with no contact with the outside world

And even then it's questionable
