Puyo Week 2020

Hello everyone!! If you don’t remember me, my name is Kris. I was the creator and runner of Puyo week 2019. I promised that another Puyo week would happen way back then, and I plan on doing that! Though, I need some help. I have been working on my own project for a couple of months and have a very busy personal life; also, I’m not into puyo anymore. I don’t want to make false promises though, so I promise Puyo week 2020 will happen like I said :-)!

Puyo week 1, closing statements

Wow, this week went by really really fast. It seems like just yesterday I was writing down prompts in my apple notes for the random thought I got in my head: “How can I bring the Puyo fandom together?” And that’s when it hit me: a week of prompts dedicated to Puyo Puyo. I pitched this idea to my husband and he completely supported it, so I quickly made a blog and set a date. I remember Sunday night before the week kicked off my anxiety was getting worse and worse; I was terrified no one would show up, I’d be the laughing stock of the community, the inside joke everyone would tease. But I woke up that next morning to a bunch of notifications, that’s when I realized everything was going to be okay.

I want to thank each and every person contributing to this week, my heart is filled with such immense gratitude because I only created the shell of an idea, you guys filled it. You all caused this week to happen by posting your entries and giving your likes, and for that, I can never thank you enough. Thank you so very much.

But do know, this isn’t the end, oh this is far from the end. Why do you think there’s a “1” in the title?

I’ll see you all sooner than you think.

Yes! I’ll be allowing a one more week of submissions before closing up shop, but do know after midnight tonight I will be taking it slow with reposting and reblogging, it’s been a very long and tough week for me. I loved puyo week a lot but now I’m very tired.
