saw a poll about dry/humid heat and like OBVIOUSLY everyone preferred dry heat but. would love to know what everyone considers to be “too hot”

me personally it’s a hard cutoff at 75°F. don’t need anything more than that thank you 🫶🫶🫶

okay. from the notes, I've been noticing a few patterns!

people with children in their lives tend to get way more than 50 hugs a month. makes sense!
people who live with their partner(s) tend to get a lot of hugs also. even more so for the lovely polyam people in the notes <3
a lot of people talking about getting the most hugs from their mum, so the number deviates wildly based on how many times they see their mum. interesting to me as someone with a touch averse mother!!
a lot of people want more hugs but feel awkward asking their friends for hugs :( -> please communicate to your buddies about your needs! it's good for you!
touch aversion plays a huge role for many people! also makes sense!

this continues to be very interesting to me. personally, my relationship to hugs is in a period of change at the moment. I used to have an intense hatred for all forms of physical touch, but am noticing that I am becoming more okay with hugs as I get older. interesting!

#pretty certain I get 1 hug a day at least #so I voted 31-35 #might be a bit more but I’ve never counted

applying for jobs seems to mostly consist of lying and submitting to indignities, which is whatever. but it is very difficult for me to override my innate instinct that anyone demanding i write a cover letter has insulted me so greatly that the only way to retain my honor is violence

#I’m pretty good at cover letters so I don’t think they’re that bad #now getting my resume down to 1 page? challenging #but it always feels like I’m lying about my qualifications
