The royal gardens of King’s Landing seemed to be the place that provided you with an escape. Your family had come to the Capital to align themselves with the Lannisters. What was meant to be a short visit had quickly turned into your own personal nightmare. Tywin had decided to, in his words, ‘bless’ your family with a betrothal between you and his eldest son, Jaime, to thank them for their loyalty.
And despite your pleas, your family accepted, leaving you to fend for yourself in King’s Landing while they returned home.
You and your new husband got along well enough. The marriage had been consummated and you wore happy smiles for the public. Behind closed doors, however, your interactions were kept to a minimum. A greeting or two in the mornings and afternoons, maybe even a few words before you both fell asleep at night, but never anything more than that.
It was a loveless union.

The first time it happened, you considered yourself lucky and didn’t think twice about jumping through the hatch to your freedom, however temporary it may be.
The second time it happened, there was an itch in the back of your mind, screaming at you to examine what was going on in the trial, and recognize that something was different. To take a step back and think. You ignored it and slipped through the exit gate, counting your blessings with each hazy step back to the campfire.
The third time it happened, however, was when you finally put the puzzle pieces together.
The Pig was ignoring you.
This time, you actually realized that something was wrong before the end of the trial. You were creeping around the map after finishing a generator, trying to find one of the last few that hadn’t been fixed yet. You’d managed to avoid the killer for the entire match so far, only confirming their identity with the large metal boxes spread out around the map, the puppet sitting atop them mocking you with its painted grin.
