That Which Is Precious and Lost: The Masterlist

For those of you who said you’d like to see Claire and I’s TSC Next-Gen Fanfic, That Which is Precious and Lost, be reformatted and brought over here onto Tumblr, you’re in luck, as we’re going to be doing just that! Much like Secrets of Blackthorn Hall did, we’ve decided we’re going to post one chapter per week for the next year — which works out well, since there’s exactly 52 chapters and exactly 52 weeks in the year!

All the odd chapters, which were written by yours truly, will be posted here on my account, @julescarstairs , whilst all of the even chapters, written by @tsc-reader , will be posted over on her account! For your convenience, however, as we post the chapters I will link them to this masterlist, so you don’t have to go searching. If you do get lost, however, every post should be findable under the #twipal tag! See below for the masterlist as it grows!

Am I the only one who hopes Dru won't be a swordswoman? because as all the main female characters (except Tessa) are swordswoman, it's a bit boring in the long run

#controversial opinion but I didn’t enjoy TID as much as I enjoyed the other trilogies (and TMI)#for me I found it really hard to get into Clockwork Angel #and by the time I got to clockwork princess I was so ready to be finished with the series that I did what I had to to finish it #clockwork Prince was probably the main book that I REALLY got into and enjoyed the entirety of 🥹🫶#(and don’t get me wrong I still liked the infernal devices)#(just not as much as TDA or TMI or even TLH)#(still cried like a bitch at the end of clockwork princess though)

manifesting the Blackthorns have the nastiest, most nauseatingly angsty epic train wreck of a fight in TWP. perhaps in the second book or whenever they all find out about Livvy. like it's awful and you can't look away as they're all at their worst with the people they love the most, who they would do and have done anything for. it's the bloodiest fight any of them have ever been in and there wasn't even any weapons involved, just words they didn't mean and cannot take back. like they all care so much about one another but things have changed and none of them cope with it at all so instead it all just. blows up. like Ty only ever wanted to keep everyone together and go back to how things were, but instead he's the one who inadvertently fractures them; the unavoidabe fate of Blackthorns siblings.

Ok don’t get me wrong, I love domestic, post-TDA Blackstairs (I adore them all in all) but you have to admit their angst in TDA is absolutely unmatched
