Heād lie if he said he hadnāt hoped for a chance to cross paths with her again, and yet saying heās happy to see her is not entirely appropriate either. Funny that the sight of someone could bring him so much conflict. Kingu freezes for a moment when the servant comes into view, taking in her appearance and how much if differs from the one in his memory; it makes sense that sheād be so without the influence of Tiamatās authority. Maybe itās simply a byproduct of her summoning. And then he finally approaches, slowly, carefully.
He wonders briefly if sheāll recognize him, if she is aware of what mightāve happened had the masters not been the ones to kill her back then. Expendable, in the grand scheme of things. Would this goddess welcome or loathe him? Would she be anything like the monster heād called mother or someone else entirely? Itās hard to form a plan when heās unsure of how exactly sheāll react; anything, even something negative, seems fitting.
It takes him a moment longer to find his voice once close enough, almost as if heās making sure sheās not a mirage or heās not mistaken.Ā āGorgon.ā
Gorgon spots him while heās pondering his approach, a blot of green against the frigid white-grey backdrop of winter. Given the strange circumstances between them -- his summoning, their imprisonment here, his very creation -- she canāt help but wonder which one he is. The first time she laid eyes upon the clay hero of Uruk, sheād mistaken him for Kingu, having forgotten the circumstances of hisĀ ābirthā from that borrowed body. Now, however, as she watches him stare at her from afar, she knows that he couldnāt be Enkidu. The rightful owner of this body wouldnāt spare her a second glance.
Her wings fold as he closes the gap between them. She settles against her snake-tail, crossing her feet at the ankles, and watches him; the serpents within her hair bob and wave curiously, stirring from the memories of a dreamlike occurrence. Even in this smaller Servant body, she still towers over him... Itās refreshing to see that he isnāt afraid.
āKingu,ā she replies. Her expression is neutral, save for the slightest raising of her brow.Ā āIām surprised to see you.āĀ
