This is an absolute tumblr relic. I feel like an archaeologist right now. This is incredible that this is on my dash.

this is from an era long passed

Last week I was wearing some shoes with cute paint splattered laces. My music teacher came up to me and whispered, “I like your shoelaces.” She looked at me expectantly, and I just sat there gaping, thinking my music teacher was trying to start a friendship with the common ground of Tumblr, until she pointed at my shoelaces with the paint splatters. I almost died right then and there.

I can’t believe it. I’ve found it. It was on my dash. And now I’m reblogging it.

This is horrible

We’re back from Ístölt and I am totally thrilled with our results! We won what is similar to T7 with 7 and 6,5 for tölt😇 I went with no expectations at all so this was so cool.It was extremely fun!

@starialex and the lovely Faxi, I’m already missing you and the horses😰 We had a lot of fun and a got to ride three horses which is pretty cool and every one was amazing! I wish I could have stayed longer ❤️

I guess that’s one way..

The quality is SO bad after cutting the video but this is a little clip from when I rode Örvar, the horse of a friend of mine. You wouldn´t guess it when you see him on the paddock because he is quite fond of food (and you definitely see it) but he´s got an amazing walk and tölt and is so kind!

Gjafar had fun that´s what counts ! Haha he can go way faster but doesn´t think it´s necessary once he is at the front, at least a thinker. I am not doing anything to stop him but rather lift my weight up a little because pulling on the reins and sitting deep in the saddle is just making him want to go faster. I didn´t really care that he ran I was just sorry for the other riders and the horse behind me whose rider did anything on the reins to stop her horse. I think in such situations it´s the best to calmly let the horse slow itself even if it takes a bit of time and not to do too much with the reins because the horse doesn´t care about something pulling in his mouth if it wants to run. 

2 years back and he hasn´t slowed down yet! My mother actually fell down from him a couple weeks ago becausehe spooked at something and ran and my mother screamed (seriously I just looked at her and thought wtf are you doing don´t scream) so he put a little bit of extra speed on, but then again my mother fell from a horse several times and she was extra afraid of Gjafar.. She got a broken shoulder and will never get on this horse again because she can just deal with safe horses so I´m gonna need to look for someone who will ride him when I am abroad. At least now I can concentrate to show my mother all kinds of groundworks that is good for him. I want him to keep some muscles.

(also I´d love to ride to that song again, sadly one doesn´t take it all in when on track)

back in 2015, his last competition. He was also running off there when we were supposed to gallop, well we did just a little faster than it should have been because he needed to be the first as always, gonna post that one tomorrow :)
