I don’t do readings as much as I used to on here because I felt as though I was giving hours of my time to anyone who came into my inbox and I would be extremely lucky for receiving $10 total for the night, regardless of how many readings I turned out. (Which was literally the case tonight. I made $10 after completing 50 readings). Tonight was a test to see how valued my time and energy are to my followers.

I’m willing to do public readings once in a while bc I know not everyone has the means to pay! But reading takes ENERGY y’all. SO much energy (yes, even 1 card draws!!!! Even short little interpretations!!!!) and so much time. That is, if you want a reading that’s actually accurate, and worth while, which are ALWAYS the goals with the readings I give.

Many people praise me in their requests by telling me I’m wonderful for hosting readings, and while the compliments are appreciated!!!, they are not actually a mutual exchange of energy or effort at all and without tips or feedback, are actually quite patronizing and shallow, like complimenting a waiter on their hard work throughout your meal and then leaving nothing but a smiley face written in pen on the bill where the tip line is.

I know not everyone can afford to send a tip, however, I have even asked that feedback be given in place of a monetary tip if one cannot afford to pay money, and even then most of the readings that I put effort into are ignored, not reblogged, not replied to, and I do not receive any sort of recognition after the reading has been done.

As such, I am sad to say that I can no longer extend my readings as I have tonight, as I’ve been shown time and again that I will not be compensated fairly for my time and energy in tips nor in just a quickly written feedback note.

From here on out, I personally will be limiting my free reading sessions to 10 people at a time. Paid readings are always available, and if a tip is sent beforehand I will gladly answer those requests as well.

Sadly, I feel as though my readings (while fun!!) are not being valued for what they are and until that happens I have to set limits.

I’m sad to have to do this but I hope that everyone understands my position! I will inform everyone when my next set of readings will be held when I am able.

I appreciate every single one of you who has gotten a reading from me and left me a tip or given me feedback!! They truly mean so much more than you know and I see them as true acts of respect and love. You are seen and you are loved as well! 💕

I BEG y’all to listen to what the person who offers you their services is saying.

You will also notice I do not say “Free” readings. I use the term “Public Readings” now to indicate that while yes, I am accepting reading requests, that does not mean that I do not expect some form of compensation for my hard work, whether that be monetary OR in the form of actual feedback (can be given through a comment on a reblog, replying to the post, or sending in another ask telling me about your experience).

My energy is not free. My time is not free. My 5 years of experience as a reader are not free.

Please show me the same respect as you would a waiter at a restaurant and leave me with something that shows that my time and work is valued and acknowledged.

I also want to point out that the $10 I received came from a combined total of (2) TWO people. Out of 50. Not ten people tipping me a dollar. Not five people tipping me 2 dollars. TWO PEOPLE TOTAL. This is why I am upset. Not the amount tipped, but the amount of people doing the tipping.

That is really damn hurtful.

The lack of respect for diviners on this site is appalling and has only worsened over the years and it’s really understandable why so many renowned readers have left this platform altogether.

Take. Your. Meds. If you can’t feel magic on your meds than try another med or maybe witchcraft just isn’t for you. If partaking in witchcraft makes your paranoia worse, STOP. If witchcraft makes you in any way want to stop you meds, take that to mean witchcraft is inherently unsafe to you in a way that it is not for others, and choose self care by removing yourself from witchcraft circles.

Herbs are not a suitable alternative to medication. Crystals are not a suitable alternative to medication.

If anyone has a problem with this, don’t just unfollow. Block me. I do not want to accidentally interact with someone who is anti medication. If you clown on this post you are endangering vulnerable lives and I will block you and you will go to whatever your religion’s version of hell is.

Also if your craft is different when you're on your meds, maybe that part of your craft wasn't witchcraft at all.

When I was new to tarot, I was afraid I was merely manipulating people.

A guy makes small talk about buying a Mother’s Day gift. So when I draw the Queen of Cups, I tell him about his mother, not a lover.
