Unbroken (Part 2)
A/N: This is the second part to my series Unbroken. There may be some mistakes and I apologize for that and I’m completely open to constructive criticism.
Summary: You’re an unidentified creature that has been captured by Sam and Dean. (Sorry I don’t want to give away to much)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sam looked at you and raised an eyebrow, “How do you know who we are?” He asked. You looked up as bags of the food you ordered were being handed to you. You racked your brain knowingly understanding the mistake you had made, talking to them. You needed to find a way out of this.
Thoughts flooded your mind of how to escape. You couldn’t afford for them to follow you and find Meg and Lucifer. So you knew you couldn’t leave without them letting you go. ‘I shouldn’t have opened my stupid mouth’ you thought. “I.. I..” You stuttered trying to think of an excuse “I’m a hunter, just like you!” You claimed unconvincingly.
You felt metal cuffs tighten onto both of your wrists and your head and upper body were shoved onto the bat counter. “Uh huh yeah. That’s about as convincing as Sammy saying he’s not afraid of clowns. You’re coming with us.” Dean said. He yanked on the cuffs to make you rise to your feet. They guided you to your feet and you felt something hard slam into your head knocking you out.
You woke up bound to a chair with blind folds shielding your eyes. You decided your safest bet was to pretend as if you were still unconscious until you figured out a plan to escape. You couldn’t kill the Winchesters. They had the same mission as you, save the humans.
You heard mumbled words and footsteps approaching. Resuming your position you let your body go limp. “She must be some kind of angel freak or something. All we know is that the angel blade can wound her but demon traps don’t do squat, so she can’t be a demon” The sound of a heavy metal door opening filled the room, then it was replaced by the breathing of the three men who opened it. Power radiated off of the third man who you concluded must have been the angel Meg told you about.
The gruff sound of his voice sent shivers down your spine, “This is not an angel Dean. I apologize for not being more useful but I have no clue as to what she is, her wings are unlike any I’ve seen”.
“My wings?!” The question flew out of your mouth involuntarily. Sam removed your blind folds wearily and you could finally see the man before you. He looked almost godlike within his perfection. He was tall, with dark brown hair and mesmerizing crystal blue eyes. He was modest and hid his strength in layers of clothing. His wings were black, feathered and broken but even then they were absolutely beautiful.
“Are you not aware that you have them?” He asked as he cocked his head to the side and squinted his eyes. It was cute and made you laugh.
“I’m aware” you answered.
The angel looked around the room “I feel as though I’ve missed something”. When he looked into your eyes it gave you a strange intimidating sensation. You concluded he must have been using his powers on you to try and get information. You’re face became heated and flushed so you broke the eye contact and focused on his shoes. “I’ve come across a few different creatures in the short time I’ve been here. That includes angels and demons, yet no one has been able to see my wings. How can you?” You demanded as if you had the upper hand.
“In case you hadn’t noticed, you are the son of a bitch tied to a chair, so we’ll be the ones asking the questions from here on out” Dean scoffed and hipped his hand around your throat and a blade only centimeters from your face. You neither flinched or blinked, and kept your connection with the angel. Sam yelled and Deans grip tightened on you “What. Are. You.” That was the question you wanted to know as well but these boys were making it very hard to have a conversation.
You released yourself of all restraints as you transported both you and the blue eyed man to the field where you first arrived in this world. You needed to talk to Clarence alone.“Before you say anything, I just wanted to talk to you alone… About a month ago I arrived here, humans sheltered me and clothed me. They gave me the name (y/n). From the very beginning I’ve wanted to protect them and I have. I’ve also made friends. No one knows what I am or sees my wings. Do you know what I am?”
“You say you want to protect humanity? Maybe we can help you but we need to go back to the bunker with the Winchesters.”
“They don’t want to help. They think I’m a threat.. Don’t you?“ You asked thinking he would too but much to your surprise, you were wrong. “No. I can’t quite pinpoint why I trust you or believe you’re telling the truth.. I have no reason to. It’s almost like I’m drawn to you (y/n).” He inched closer to you and you backed away tripping over your own feet. “At first I thought it was you trying to put me in this hypnotic state… now I’ve come to realize… the fear in your eyes is proof of how intimidated you re by this connection as well.” He almost whispered the words.
You jerked your arm away “How do o know it’s not YOU using your grace to tantalize ME?!” You laughed mockingly “I don’t even know your name and I’ve known you all of two seconds! Who do you think you are?!”
“I apologize if I have upset you (y/n). My name is Castiel. In heaven if a human sees you wings then they are your true soulmate–”
You interrupt him not caring if you seemed rude. “Soulmate? This is your excuse to get me back to the Winchesters? Do you think I’m stupid? You have been lying this whole time and using your grace!” Outraged by being tricked, you transported yourself to hundreds of places all over the world before reuniting with Meg and Lucifer. You hoped if Castiel was following you you woul have shaken him off.
Lucifer snickered “Look who decided to show up”.
“We thought you were dead. You look like shit. What the hell happened?!” Meg prodded looking angry.
“The Winchesters happened”
You explained everything that happened. How Castiel used his grace on you and how he tried to trick you into thinking he was your ‘soulmate’ cause he ‘saw your wings’, and how Clarence wasn’t there.
Lucifer interrupted your rant “You do realize Castiel and Clarence are the same person right?”
“No he is not. He is not the shy and timid man you spoke of. He was not shy he was.. I don’t know what he was.“
