I was seriously thinking of getting online tonight but instead went back to this lol. I left off right at the start of chapter 12. Soooo close to the end and hadn’t looked at it in weeks so I felt it was time!
Depending on if we lose power tomorrow or not I may pop online then, after all I have Wednesday off! (The hurricane/tropical storm is headed to me! Though my guess is that it looks like it won’t be too bad, but as my sister said, this is 2020 we’re talking about XD)

‘Kiddo’? Do I look like I’m twelve—? Inner complaints effectively cut off by the device being chucked his way, Squall fumbled momentarily as the cell hit his unprepared palms, but staved off the embarrassing possibility of dropping it (thankfully – especially since it wasn’t his). Head cocking slightly, he gave the phone a brief once over before tapping away with reasonable ease, locating the correct app as such and… was pleasantly surprised to find it functioning.
A spell of silence eventuated but he broke it with an indebted, “Thanks,” before altering their course as he had been leading them astray.
Only when venturing a little further towards their destination did Squall’s eyes stray from the borrowed device to really take in his… father. Hyne, it was still so surreal. “…How’re you holding up in all this?”
He showed no reaction when Squall fumbled the phone. Honestly he dropped it enough himself, by this point he’d decked it out with a nearly indestructible case...it could take almost as much of a beating as he could.
“No problem,” he said with a smile as he followed Squall, not making a comment on the drastic change in direction, after all he certainly wasn’t one to talk.
His eyebrows rose at Squall’s question, head tilting to the side for a moment. “I’m holding up just fine. After all it’s a nice day, we haven’t run into any monsters yet and...well the company is certainly very nice.” Meaning of course he was downright ecstatic at being able to have what was essentially a father and son road trip...without a car of course.

A soft smile arched across his face as he gazed at her. Raine bought out the best in him, she calmed him, she healed him. Just being in her presence made him feel like he was on top of the world.
Arms automatically curled around her in return, head leaning down as he buried his nose in her hair and breathed her in.
“Whatever we do, however much or how little, so long as I’m with you it would be far more than enough.”

At steep angles! Bones fuse and prevent that if you don’t do it regularly as a kid. It’s the same reason we don’t climb trees like monkeys, whose ankles don’t have the same restrictions we do

Iirc someone did an anatomical study and people of slavic descent have shallower hip sockets that allow that movement more easily as well.
Yes! This was something we talked about in my physical anthropology class, that like, some people physically cannot slav squat just because of their bones and skeletal structure.

I actually caught up completely on both here and Squall!
Well, aside from some ancient asks that have been sitting around for so long that I likely won’t ever answer them, lmao. But everything from the last couple of months has been replied too!
Next on my to-do list is to set up my multi-muse blog! Clint and Zack have both been bugging me, haha.//
Inwardly sighing, Squall spared a short glance over his shoulder, eyes narrowing a smidgen. “It died,” he grunted, keeping it short and sweet. No way in hell was he going to admit he was lost. “We’re taking an alternative route.”
To where was another matter. They had no hope really, he was ninety-nine percent certain his secret directionally challenged trait was hereditary. “Follow me,” he instructed, pocketing the device before choosing the direction perceived as North.
A small almost unnoticeable smile formed as he began to follow his son, he was well aware that Squall likely had no idea where he was going. His frustration made that fairly obvious after all. And while being lost wasn’t exactly good, he was still happy to see connections like this between them. Even after all this time he was still half convinced that him having a son was a dream, it still seemed far too good to be true.
“Hey, kiddo!” He called out, and once Squall turned around he would toss his own phone in his direction. “Mine still has some charge.”
“Hell if I know! Might have found out I was a SOLDIER and held some resentment towards them? Happens more often than I care to admit.” Zack shrugged a bit. “Never expected to see you in the Slums Laguna. What brings you under the plate?” Zack said as he watched the two guys scramble away. Zack really needs to practice some self-defense, in case that was ever to happen again
“Just taking a walk, seemed like a good day to do so and I was right!”
He moved closer to where Zack was standing, placing a hand on his shoulder as he leaned over to peer at his face. “Sure you’re okay? They didn’t get a chance to hurt you did they?”
He pursed his lips into a slight frown as he glanced over his friend. Him having been a Soldier was a decent reason for an attack he supposed but it still made him upset. Zack was far too nice a person for people to be holding grudges and he certainly didn’t deserve to be targeted.

How long had it been since the worlds had settled, that Laguna didn’t recall who he was anymore. Leon would nod slightly, “Do you now? Well…maybe you are right” He mused softly.
Zephyr’s eyes roved over the other’s face again, teeth biting down hard into his lip as he tried to recall who this was. Why did they ignite a reaction in him? Why did the empty hole inside almost start beating again at the sight of him?
An echo of memory surfaced. Chaos. People running. Screaming. And him screaming as well...screaming a name. A name that he could not recall.
“Who...” his hand had reached up, gripping tight at his shirt, “who are you?”

Honestly I don’t think there’s any I can specifically think of that I really want to interact with...I want to RP with everyone, lmao. Laguna especially is a great muse to throw at people, he’s such an open and honest and loving character that he’s perfect even for characters I myself don’t know that well!

046. How do they handle getting sick?
Oof. He is generally a really bad patient to deal with. He’s the type to always want to be up and about and hates being confined to bed for any length of time. He also tends to hide it if he’s getting sick, trying to ignore the symptoms and carrying on as if everything is perfect.
People tend to assume that he’d be the type to milk being sick for all it’s worth and he will, but only with certain people. Basically just Raine, Kiros and Ward. He’s more than comfortable with them to be able to do so, not to mention that all of them would be able to tell he’s sick even if he did try to hide it.
So if you’re one of the few people he doesn’t hide it from he’ll generally still be a pain and not stay in bed but he will also be whiny and clingy.
Otherwise, with anyone else, he’ll hide it until it’s too late or he just collapses. Even then as soon as he’s able he’ll be sneaking out of bed and going back to pretending he’s fine.
Thankfully he rarely does get sick! Now getting injured (which he generally acts the same with), that happens quite a bit more XD

♦ What’s an AU that you’ve always wanted?
This is actually a hard one to answer because I already find ways to dump my two precious Loire’s into any and all AU’s I can think of haha.
Like any other fandom I’ve been in I’ve found some way to place Laguna and Squall into them, pffft.
In terms of RP though? For a fandom I would love to toss them in? Probably Marvel, though I actually have yet to figure out Laguna’s role in that...only Squall.
Otherwise, I guess modern AU is always fun, though I’ve yet to do much with that RP-wise. Also any AU in which Laguna was able to raise Squall!!! I looooove that, haha.
