Green eyes stared at the clock on the wall, and fingernails dug into the palm of a now sixteen year old Aislinn MacCarthy.

Just ten minutes left. Ten, agonizingly long minutes. And each tick seemed slower than the last.

It was the last day of her Junior year of high school, and she couldn’t be more relieved for the long summer ahead of her; This year had been a stressful one…Her workload had increased more so than the year before, and she had been receiving homework and project assignments in nearly all of her classes two to three times every few weeks. And she had been helping her parents more at home after her older sister had moved out of the city; Her younger brother Brody, however….

He had become quite a problem.

The fifteen year old had become increasingly aggressive and violent towards everyone around him after his girlfriend had broken up with him a few months back, and his coach had removed him from the school’s football team because of his negative behavior towards the other players. He was so miserable, that he never even bothered to clean his room, his messes, or anything else. He always said things like ‘Shut up!’, or other foul words to emotionally belittle everyone who tried to even talk to him. He had been sneaking out at night, and was once caught drinking a bottle of Vodka one night by her father.

And the worst of it? If angry enough, for no reason whatsoever, he would punch holes in the walls, throw things at their mother, and physically attack Aislinn. Her father was the only one who could fight him off…

Despite being a skilled ninja now because of the Turtles, she couldn’t risk defending herself…She had a temper, and at times desired so badly to give him a taste of his own medicine…But it was kept in by reason. He and her parents had no inkling about her ten years of martial arts training; If she performed ninjutsu for her whole family to see, she would endanger the existence of the Turtles and Master Splinter.

And that was something she would NEVER risk. So, she took the weekly beatings calmly, despite the bubbling anger that dwelled inside her.

Still, ever since Leo’s return from Central America a few years back, she had been much happier through it all. Without Donnie, she was sure she would’ve died this year from all the tests, homework, and projects, and now that Raph and Mikey were done with being The Nightwatcher and Cowabunga Carl, they had been around more often to hang out with her. And Leo had taught her so much from his training, making up for the year of lessons she missed when he was absent. It made her feel good to know that she had four big brothers that cared for her more than that scumbag that she was forced to call her blood.

The bell finally rung, and the students poured out of the building excitedly, ready to embrace their eight weeks of freedom. Aislinn, after wishing a few of her friends a great vacation, hoists up her blue backpack more snugly onto her shoulders, and quickly dashes out into the streets of Manhattan, to locate the nearest manhole. The warm air was so inviting, her long hair waving in the breeze that came around. However, just as she was about to duck into an alley, she hears loud screams of fear coming from down the street, and turns her head to see a taxi being flung towards her. She screamed, covering her head and shutting her eyes, bracing herself as she was about to be crushed…

Then, after hearing a sort of ‘thwipping’ noise, she opens them again to see that the car had stopped a mere few inches from her body, frozen in midair. She blinks in bewilderment, then suddenly realizes something was holding it in place. Her eyes widen a bit as the sight registers itself.

A large, sticky spider web. Then, a voice from on top of the cab makes her look up.

“Whew, that was close! You okay there, kid? Geez, Venom! If you have a problem with cab fare prices, you could’ve filed a complaint to the company instead of throwing a diva tantrum in the middle of Manhattan; Ya know, like a normal person? Er…Semi-normal person? Well, technically you’re not a normal person, or even a pers–Ah, you know what I mean. The point is, I sense one heck of a bill in your future…”

Spider-Man. The Spider-Man, had just saved her life. The girl’s mouth hangs open slightly in shock, as the red and blue costumed superhero cracked one of his infamous quips at some sort of black, lumbering beast at the end of the street. She cringed; The monster resembled Spider-Man, only its spider symbol was white and bigger, and it had a huge, slacking jaw with many rows of sharp, white teeth, and a long, slithering tongue protruded from its mouth. It let out a snarl, leaping at the Web-Slinger with such ferocity that rivaled that of Raphael. The hero, wanting to make sure Aislinn or anyone else wouldn’t be attacked again, quickly backflips out of the way to the other end of the street to dodge its slashing attack, and beckons him forward with a finger; Once it was close, he shoots a web line to attempt to blind it.

“Ah, ah, ah! Let’s take this away from the screaming civilians, okay? Good. Now, watch the birdie!”

It succeeds as the creature roars in anger, and then, while it was distracted by trying to get the webbing off, Spider-Man web-swings at him, and kicks him forcefully to knock him back, then prepares to web him down into the road with both hands. However, Venom soon recovers from the swing-kick, and grabs Spider-Man’s two web-lines and pulls him towards himself, and lands a devastating punch to his face, then throws him onto the sidewalk. The Wall-Crawler groans, slightly out of it as Venom grabbed him by the neck, about to crush his windpipe with a malicious grin. The teenage kunoichi hisses through her teeth; Poor Spidey…That had to hurt. The monster then spoke in an evil, venomous voice that sent cold chills down Aislinn’s spine…

“Ah, just how we like it…Spider-Man, in the palm of our hands…At our mercy. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide….Finally, we will have our revenge! Sayonara, Wall-Crawler!”

This didn’t look good. If someone didn’t do something now, Spider-Man would surely be a goner. The girl looks around desperately, then notices some power lines above Venom and Spider-Man, getting an idea. If she timed this just right….! Whipping out her Tessen and, just before the alien monster could deliver a fatal blow, she tosses one of her weapons towards the lines like a boomerang, the blades slicing them open and releasing powerful electrical surges; The sparking and flashing ends strike Venom in the back, right on target….

A loud, inhuman screeching is heard from him, as his suit seemed to writhe and flail at the searing pain that coursed through his body. He was forced to drop his prey as he threw the lines off of him, then, once he regained his sight, turned and saw the one who had come to his enemy’s aid. It hisses, eyes narrowing. Aislinn swallows.

“THAT…was unpleasant….”

Great. Now it’s coming after HER…

The creature aims a tendril attack at the youth for her interference. Aislinn dodges a few blows, but it finally hits her in the gut, knocking the wind out of her as she fell to the ground. She sits up as it approached her menacingly, drool dripping from its wild tongue…

Spider-Man, who woke up from the beating he took, sees Venom bearing down on the girl he had saved from being crushed. He quickly webs four power lines into his hands, and launches them towards Venom while his back was turned.

“Lights out, smiley!”

Another scream, louder than the last one, comes from the writhing, sparking monster. The suit it bore then began to tear apart, revealing a human man inside the wave of tendrils….Eddie Brock. Attaching a web-line quickly to the symbiote’s host, Spider-Man yanks him out, separating the two from each other. Aislinn shields her eyes, as the power lines created a small explosion, seemingly destroying the alien substance. She soon looks at the small crater where it once was, then breathes a sigh of relief. She then flinched as someone spoke to her.

“Are you alright?”

Spider-Man, after webbing Brock up to a lamp post, came over to help her to her feet. She nodded, still a bit shaken, but manages to speak, smiling a bit at him.

“Y-Yeah…Thanks. And thanks again. That’s twice you saved me.”

Peter smiled a bit behind his mask; It was rare that anyone in this city said thank you to Spider-Man; Most of the time people called him a menace ‘cuz of Jameson’s little rants about him in the Bugle, so it was nice to get some appreciation for his heroics. His eyes then fall onto the Tessen in her hand, and he raises an eyebrow curiously. This kid seemed a bit young to be a ninja…But whoever taught her martial arts must’ve taught her pretty well, ‘cuz if it weren’t for her, he’d have been possibly eaten by a power-hungry symbiote. Remembering that the other was back near the power lines, he brings it back with a web-line and returns it to her.

“No problem. All part of the job. And thank you for helping me out back there. You’ve got some skills. Um…Those are some big-time weapons you’re carrying, though…Where’d you get them? Not many ‘ninja’ superstores in New York City, ya know…”

Uh oh. Excuse time. Think fast, Ais.

“Oh. Well…I…got them from my…Uncle. He travels a lot, and he brought me to Japan when I was younger….I studied a little ninjutsu while I was there…I’m a fast learner, so he gave me these when I turned ten. Gotta make sure I can defend myself in this crazy town, right?”

Call it Spider-Sense or common sense, but he felt that the girl had just made that up….And as a poor excuse maker himself, he could tell when someone was lying. But he didn’t have time to pry her further, as sirens began to approach.

“Uh oh. My adoring public…”

Aislinn smiled, putting her Tessen away in her belt. “You should get going, then. Don’t worry; unlike that bigmouth, fuzzy-lipped writer at the Bugle, I think you’re doing a lot of good for this city.” She gives him a wink.

He looks to her, grinning a bit at her joke. “Huh. A fan of me who disses Jameson’s mustache. I like you already. Do you need a lift home?”

“I’m actually going to meet some friends right now. Their place is not much farther from here, and I’ll be safe with them. But if I ever get lost in the city with no phone, I’ll definitely call you from the nearest rooftop.”

The Web-Head chuckles, shooting out a web line. “Heh, suit yourself; It’s a pretty fun way to travel. By the way, your name is…?”

“Aislinn.”

“Aislinn. Got it. See ya around, then.”

And so, Spider-Man swings off, Aislinn waving to him as he left. Then, making sure no one was looking, she heads into the alley, removing the manhole cover and dropping down into the sewer. Hopefully she hadn’t kept them waiting too long. She slips on her skates after getting them from her bag, then rolls on through the tunnel.

However, the human failed to notice a small, black stain had stuck to the leg of her jeans, and had slithered into her backpack before she set off….

The boys were already in the tunnels when they bumped into her. Their camera systems had picked up the fight between Spiderman and his enemy and usually, they would leave him to it. Despite them seemingly being on the same side, they couldn’t risk exposing themselves in the daylight. When a news team snapped a glimpse of Aislinn however, that rule flew out the window. They had geared up within seconds, throwing eachother their weapons before swiftly heading out the door. If they stuck with the van, they might be able to remain hidden.

Leonardo turned a corner only to be smacked in the chest. He looked down at the young girl who’d landed unceremoniously on her ass and breathed a sigh of relief.

“Aislinn! We we’re just coming up to get you, are you alright?” He took hold of her hand and pulled her to her feet, then was jostled forward as Michelangelo shoved his way to the front of his brothers.

“DUDE! Aislinn you met Spidey?? Like did he talk to you, did he wave at ya? What was he like-OW!!”

Raphael’s fist his his youngest brother’s skull with a dull thud and he shook his head behind him.

“Idiot…are ya hurt kid?”

He looked her over before Donatello moved closer for an inspection.

“That was intense Aislinn! We were so worried about you!”

BUMP.

The 16 year old female collided with Leonardo’s plastron, giving an ‘oof!’ of surprise and falling back on her bum, rubbing her head as she groaned uncomfortably. She shakes it off, looking up at the blue clad as he helped her back to her feet, her hand squeezing his reassuringly as she smiled.

“Yeah, I’m oka–.”

Then Michelangelo bolted forward, his eyes alight with excitement as he began to question her eagerly about Spider-Man. An amused chuckle escaped her lips, and she looked to Raphael, who bonked him on the head to quell his fanboy asks. He and Donatello also asked if she was alright, making her chuckle once more and wave a hand calmly.

“Relax, guys, I’m fine…That slimy freak didn’t even touch me.”

That was only half-true…She had a bruise on her shoulder from where Venom’s tentacle had struck her, but it didn’t even hurt now. The piece of the symbiote that had snuck into her backpack nestled itself between her books and folders, blending into a blue one with its camouflage ability, so the female wouldn’t catch sight of it when the bag was opened; It would need a bit of time to recover and regenerate from Spider-Man’s attack before it could start searching for a new host…However, despite being weakened, it sensed great power within these four creatures with the girl…

Especially the red masked one. It sensed aggression, fierceness, and ferocity that equaled that of Eddie Brock, who had harbored a deep hatred for Spider-Man…Deep within, there was anger and frustration in his heart…The fuel it fed on…And this turtle was full of it. If it was in its Venom form, it would’ve smirked with malice…

He would make a perfect breeding ground.

Aislinn removed her skates, putting her regular black and white sneakers back on, continuing to tell her story about her adventure to them.

“That thing was huge, though…Spidey sure had a heck of a time trying to stop it…And it was hideous.”

The brunette shuddered, remembering Venom’s ugly face and wicked smile, his long tongue dripping with saliva as he had loomed over her…

Leonardo gave nothing away but he studied her, noticed how she was holding herself and as much as she was trying to deny it, the battle had affect her. He nodded and motioned for them to head back home.

"That freak'd be laughin' outta the other side of his ugly face if he'd hurt ya..."

Raphael grumbled as he headed back, his two younger brothers shrugging behind him. Michelangelo held his arm around their adopted little sister and lead her home. He blabbed about Spiderman, about how cool the real superhero's were but quietened when he was promised a can of whoopass from Raphael if he kept it up.

"That thing is scary though...you sure you're alright kiddo?"

Michelangelo gave her a friendly squeeze, knowing he'd have probably screamed like a child if he found himself face to face with that monster... As they reached their lair, Leonardo couldn't quite shake the feeling that something was a little off. He dismissed it at first but it nibbled at him, as though some one or something were watching his every move. He furrowed his brow, wondering if his concern for Aislinn's welfare had thrown him off balance and did his best to ignore it, for now. Venom was a creature he had only heard about. The monster wasn't usually active unless Spiderman were somewhere near by and as such, the turtles had never had to encounter it. He made a mental note to ask Donnie if he could track it's appearences, this last battle was far too close to home for his liking.

“God no you should never EVER hit your laptop with a hammer….Or throw it out the window! Ugh I’m sorry Ma'am but you’re going to have to take it to a repair shop, there’s nothing I can do for you over the phone.” Donatello hung up the call before he had to listen to her insult him, probably another bad review on his forum but, mostly they were positive. There were just some people he couldn’t help. He reached over and grabbed his mug, taking another sip of coffee when he received another call. He couldn’t help but groan before he answered, praying that it wasn’t another elderly citizen who had accidently downloaded a porn app.

“Hello you’ve reached Technical support here for you 24 hours a day, how can I help you?”

Lumi had been tapping her lips with a single fingertip as she waited for the call to be picked up at the other end of the line; even though the tech support helpline had been advertised as a 24 hour service, she half-wondered if it would honestly be picked up this late into the evening. Still, she had to give it a shot; she needed her laptop for work in the morning and with it freezing up as much as it was, she needed all the help she could get.

Hearing the male voice answering her call, she smiled in relief and sat back in her seat. “Oh thank god, I wasn’t sure if you’d pick up at this hour,” Lumi said, glancing down at the troublesome machine sitting in front of her on the coffee table. “I don’t want to take up too much of your time but I’m having problems with my laptop. It’s randomly freezing and a virus scan didn’t bring anything up. Admittedly it’s kind of old but I need it for my job tomorrow…”

Lumi picked up her glass of juice and took a little sip before sighing with a grin. “So as the saying goes, help me, Obi-Wan, you’re my only hope!”

Donatello smiled, he couldn’t help it! Nobody relayed this much personality over the phone to tech support, he was lucky if they even said a thank you. And a Star Wars reference too…this was interesting. With a surprised giggle he pushed his headset closer to his ear. “Oh I see padawan…erm sorry. So it’s freezing every now and then…alright. If you could tell me the make of the laptop? Uh huh, yep I know the one. Give me one second ma'am and we’ll look at some options.”

Really he paused so he could take a swig of coffee, but he didn’t want her to know that. “I assume you’ve tried restarting it?”

“I’ve tried restarting it, refreshing it, restoring it, and the next step as far as I can see is dropping it from a suitable height above the ground,” Lumi half-grinned, hoping the tech guy would pick up on the last step she had mentioned as being a joke. “It might just be that it’s old and needs to be put out of its misery and replaced. I just thought I’d give you a shot, yknow?”

Biting her lip, Lumi silently grimaced and rolled her eyes. Rambling was a nervous habit of hers and she knew how annoying it was to endure a customer’s entire life story. Still, this guy seemed friendly enough…maybe it was just part of his work ethic, but it helped to put her at ease. Returning her Star Wars reference with one of his own had made her smile too.

“Sorry, you probably knew that already. I know it’s an outdated model,” Lumi murmured, sipping at her juice again. “Any other suggestions before I turn up at work tomorrow and beg them to replace it for me?”

Donatello: Donatello took the information in and everything he was about to suggest she had already done, resourceful girl. It was a relief to speak to somebody who at least had a bit of sense about her. He couldn't help but laugh at her last suggestion, enough to make him snort embarrassingly enough. Quickly clearing his throat, he continued to listen and he was certain he knew the answer to her problem, unfortunately he doubted she would be too happy with it.

"Well I think I know what's wrong. The problem is it would take a lot of work to fix, including replacing some parts that I'm pretty sure can't be taken out. My best advice would be to demand a new one...a better one I might add!" he told her, leaning back in his chair and sipping back more of his coffee.

"I could give you some suggestions if you'd like?"

Honestly they’re weren’t entirely sure how to handle the situation. It wasn’t like they hadn’t interacted with humans before, but this one was unusually bold. Before they had a chance to retort however, a change in the atmosphere forced them to pull out their weapons.

“Raph, Mikey, protect the girl!” Leonardo ordered as he went into battle.

They weren’t sure how long they’d been watching them, but the Foot had steadily gathered, waiting for a moment of distraction for them to strike. Blades descended upon them and the angry clang of clashing metal echoed through the alley. Raphael stood in front of the girl, coaxing her back against a wall to stay away from the fighting.

“Just stay behind me, you’ll be alright!”

Lucinda had no idea what was going on, everything went so fast, but she did backed up against the wall, but her deep ocean blue eyes watching everything, watching the turtle’s fight and the males in black ninja type outfits.

the 22 year old hid as one of the ninja cladded people came close as she make a funny sound and ducked out of the way, now she didn’t realize that she move out of her hiding spot, she quickly headed back fast as she could, but she felt a strong hand on her shoulder, as she was about to speak, a hand came over her mouth as well.

Raphael had his sai locked with the katana blades of his enemy. With a sharp twist, the metal shattered and he slammed his hard skull against the clan member’s head, knocking him out. The fight didn’t last. Though they were outnumbered, the boys quickly overpowered the undisciplined soldiers and Leonardo couldn’t help notice, it was almost too easy.

“Heh…call that an ambush?!” Raphael grinned, spinning his sai.

“Where’s the girl, Raphael where is she?” Leonardo demanded.

It didn’t take long to spot her, legs flailing as she was dragged away by two remaining attackers.

“Aw shell…”

Without a word Leonardo took off, sprinting down the alleyway to close the gap between them. But he just wasn’t quick enough as she was dragged into a nearby car and they were all forced to stop before they hit the road. They had no option but to take to the rooftops and follow the car. Inside, the two henchmen were quickly binding her limbs with tape and attempting to blindfold her.

lucinda screamed, but it sounded more angry than she was scared, she bucked and twisted in the male grip and elbowed him in the eye, giving him a black eye before she was taken into the car and binded and now blind folded. The female now was starting to panic and struggle, she wasn’t going to be still and wasn’t going to be hold down to easily. Lue was trying to think on how the turtle beings going to catch up, and she also worried about if they got hurt by these assholes.

She was sat between two of them, bound tightly and robbed of her sight. The kept her as still as they could, keeping the one she’d injured away so he wouldn’t lash out in anger.

“Stay still, behave yourself little girl and we’ll let you live…”

One of them hissed, unaware of how close the turtles were. They followed on the rooftops, waiting for the traffic to thin out before they attacked. They turned down a backroad, intending to head to a safe house and it gave enough cover for the boys to strike. Raphael jumped, landing hard on the roof of the car and it swerved on impact. He punched at the windscreen, cracking the glass.

“Shake him off! Keep going!” one of them yelled, the car jostling as the driver regained control of the wheel.

the woman had enough she leaned over to one of the male thugs and bit him hard on the arm, and she fired out curses and the most colorful words known to man as she made sure he was going to bleed from it, now hearing the big thud she was so happy as she keeped a ear out for the other thugs in the van so she didn’t get jumped on, but she most likely going to be from what she can tell.

The bitten soldier snarled in pain, reaching back and smacking the back of his hand in the girls cheekbone. The blow was strong enough to send her crashing into the seat in front. Raphael slammed both fists into the windscreen and smashed through. The driver swerved, recoiling in horror as little shards of glass pierced his eyes.

"I can't see! I can't see a fuckin' thing!"

The car hurtled into an alleyway, slamming into an apartment building but not before Raphael jumped clear of its path. The Foot soldiers when flying through the windshield, taking out the rest of it and crashed into the wall before them. They were easy to subdue after that, and Raphael quickly crawled into the car, picking up the girl from the wreckage.

"Hey...hey you awake? Aw c'mon...wake up..."

Raphael grinned, a loud chuckle escaping his chest as she clung to him. Here, he was in control, he was able to show his physical prowess, something he took pride in and it was an effective way to recover from his verbal fumbling before. He felt her face nestle a little closer to him and his heartbeat fluttered. She was so warm, so light in his arms as he traversed the rooftops and he was wallowing in the feel of her.

A couple of blocks over, he reached a tall high rise and started to climb, holding onto her with one arm as he yanked himself onto a balcony and hopped over where he finally let her back on her feet.

“Here we are…” he announced, glancing at his toes before he started picking the lock to the glass door that lead to the inside.

“This condo is up for sale, nobody’s claimed it yet so I hang out in it sometimes…got a great view y’know?”

Taking a sharp breath as her feet touched solid ground once more, Juniper wavered ever so slightly as she attempted to recover from her beguiled state.
She looked up to meet Raph’s eyes, but he was looking towards his own feet before he set to work picking the slider’s lock.
A tiny grin played across Juniper’s lips as she watched the corded muscles in his arms move and flex beneath his beautiful emerald skin. Before the realisation that she was staring set in, he had turned to face her announcing his successful unlocking of the door.
Looking away quickly Juniper stepped into the large vacant condo as Raphael motioned for her to enter.
It was clean and well kept. There were some remnants of furniture left, probably as show for prospective buyers. She scanned the room they were presently occupying, noting the small beige couch, breakfast nook setting, and wispy curtains. She made a slow 360 before returning her gaze to the large turtle still standing in the balcony doorway; his frame luminously outlined by the city lights behind him, his facial features cast in half shadow but still showcased his strong set jaw.
“You’re right..” Juniper said with a smirk, “it does have a great view.” She finished, letting her eyes noticeably trace his form.
@cowabungacarlspartyservices

Watching her stare so obviously sent tingles through his scales and he rubbed the back of his head, huffing a small laugh.

“Knock it off, you’re gonna turn me the same colour as my bandana.” he remarked, then internally kicked himself.

Why did he sound like such a dork? It occured to him, after that rush of adrenaline and display of heroics, he had no clue where to go from here. He glanced around the room, cracking his knuckles out of habit before turning to her. Only he had nothing to say. He couldn’t move, he couldn’t assume that just because she agreed to come with him, she still wanted him.

Juniper let out a small chuckle at his ridiculous allegation of color change. She could see the nervousness rolling off of him. Scanning the room once more, she noticed the flat screen mounted on the wall that she’d missed on her first easement.

“Hey, does that thing work?” She asked pointing to the screen. “Wanna see if we can get ‘Shameless’? It’s a new episode tonight!” She asked hoping to relax him, and herself as well.

“Ah yeah sure! Hold on lemme find the remote…fuckin’ thing…where’d it…” He dug around the sofa, flinging a cushion behind him before he uncovered the little controller. Wordlessly he switched on the TV, flicking through the channels to find the right one. “You’d think they’d have unhooked the cable by now…lucky us huh?” After settling, he sat back on the couch, patting the seat beside him before he let his shell sink back into the cushions. He was thankful for her suggestion, hopefully this way he could get his fucking balls back… @juniper-bangbang

Juniper caught the small cushion as it launched towards her face. She laughed to herself at how intent he was at finding the remote.

Once he’d acquired the little clicker and settled in, Juniper felt her mouth go dry as he motioned for her to sit next to him. Her eyes roamed the landscape of his muscular thighs noting how the lip of his shell curved arond the thick corded muscle of his hip.

Swallowing audibly she made her way over to him depositing the small throw pillow in the fathered corner of the couch. As she moved in she took in how broad his shoulders were and momentarily flashed back to being held with in them.

Her face heated and the free fall feeling in her stomach intensified. Moving finally close enough she sat down next to the emerald green turtle, her outer thigh brushing his as she did so.

“Uhhm…” She cleared her throat. “You ever seen this show? It’s pretty fucked up,” she shrugged, “but I dig it.”

Raph shrugged, trying to slow his heartbeat down after her soft thigh touched his.

“It is but it’s entertainin’ right? Honestly round my neck o'the woods people like this are common…"

His nostrils flared, her natural scent overwhelming his senses and suddenly all he could think about was that kiss. And now he was watching tv with her like an idiot. She wanted him, why was that so damned hard to believe? She’d responded to his kiss better than he could have hoped for and he chickened out? Mikey would have punched him and he was entertaining the notion of punching himself.

”…Aw fuck this…“

He turned to her and took her shoulders, pushing her down on to the sofa as he crawled over her. His chest pounded and at the first sign that she didn’t want this he would back straight off, but he’d take a chance this time. His lips met hers and they kissed again. His fingers rest on her belly, waiting for her reaction before he let them wander.

Juniper’s heart jumped into her throat at the galoot’s actions, blood hammering through her veins as she crashed back into the cushions; the sensation of thick fingers resting on her flat stomach… Fireworks!

She grabbed the knot of his mask with one hand and the lip of his carapace with the other, forcefully tugging him into searing kiss. She sucked his bottom lip into her mouth and bit down eliciting a sexy yelp from the male above her. Just as quickly as it started it stopped and Juniper pushed Raphael up from her form before delivering a sharp slap to his face… He stared, stunned.

“Jesus!… What the hell took you so long..?” Juniper swore as a wolfish grin spread across her face.

“ you just gonna sit there or ya gonna help me out of these clothes? ” she purred seductively holding his bright orbs hostage in her deep green ones; heart pounding, core heating…. Fireworks!

With Leonardo’s help she would be freed from the sheets and stood back up. Once standing her worn pants were long enough that they completely covered her feet which was probably part of the reason Leonardo, nor the other brothers, had noticed them. Of course, that only begged the question what other things about her physical appearance might be different beneath the thin layer of worn, dirty hospital attire she wore.

Kay watched him smooth out the sheets, though she would give a tilt of her head in puppy-like confusion “I…I had the one pillow. It was great….Do people usually sleep with m-more than one pillow?” There was a look of innocent awe and wonder to cross her features as the thought of a nest made with soft sheets AND MULTIPLE pillows sounded amazing.

Leonardo’s next words would have all thoughts of cushiony nests scattering from her mind, however. Her wolven ears lowering slightly in apprehension before she nodded. “I-I did. Thank you.” It had been the first night of uninterrupted, restful sleep she could remember having in….well, a long time she supposed since she couldn’t remember a time before now. Leonardo’s words having almost the opposite effect of what he intended, as she couldn’t help but wonder which of the brothers wanted to see her and why. Especially since whenever someone said ‘nothing bad’, it usually /was/ bad. “O-okay. W-where are we going?” she asked quietly as she made to follow Leonardo. Maybe they had changed their minds and wanted her to leave afterall?

Leonardo chuckled a little, seems as though there was alot of luxury she would have to get used to, if you could call more than one pillow a luxury.

“Yes if they want to…I don’t usually but it’s all about preference.”

She grew nervous, as he expected she would. It wasn’t his intention to frighten her, but this was far too important to just leave it. He smiled as naturally as he could and led her to Donnie at a relaxed pace.

“We’re just going to see Donnie, he’s been doing some research and he needs to talk to you about your claws.“

He turned back and, despite his better judgement, offered his hand to her to make the journey a little easier for her.

"Don’t worry, you’re not in trouble or anything. He’s had a look at that liquid that came from your claws and he thinks he knows what it is. We might be able to give you some answers on how it works.” he explained to her.

Gold-green hues blinked at him as she processed what he’d said. There was a moment when her relief was clear, a small smile even on her lips as she realized they weren’t kicking her out. They were going to see Donnie, the brother that had helped her with her wounds. The purple-banded turtle was nice and he was calm, and he had music! Though once Leonardo explained why they were going to see Donnie, she would stop following for a moment to look down at her hands. K had forgotten about the danger of her claws, the thought of it lulled away with the warm food, safe place and soft bed. But now she remembered the dead man from last night and her ears lowered to press against her head, practically disappearing against her copper-blonde tresses.

Catching Leonardo’s movement, she looked up only to see him holding out his hand to her. She took a startled half-step away from him and shook her head, before she shoved her hands beneath her armpits, trapping them there by squeezing her arms against her torso. She swallowed hard against a suddenly dry throat, chiding herself mentally for having forgotten such a danger. K leaned forwards enough to where she could nudge her nose against Leonardo’s hand “It’s…/I’m/ not safe” she corrected herself, refusing to look back up at him. She nodded at his mention of having answers “A-answers are good. Maybe D-donnie can make the liquid not be dangerous?” she asked as she waited for Leonardo to start leading the way again.

Without hesitation Leonardo wrapped his arm around her shoulders, walking her the rest of the way to his brother. Donatello was clad in thick rubber gloves and screen that covered his face and he was shifting around what appeared to be large glass jars with plastic covering the lids.

"Oh hi! I don't know how much Leonardo explained but don't worry! What we're going to do will not hurt you."

He placed a jar on a close by table and motioned for her to come closer.

"What I need you to do, is puncture the plastic with your claws and we're going to collect as much of that liquid as we can alright?"

His tone was calm enough and he smiled gently at her, hoping she wouldn't be too alarmed of what Donatello was asking from her. Leonardo stood behind her but he did not block the doorway, he wanted her to feel safe, not caged.

Last Chance Garage: 2007 TMNT RP

Flipping the lights in the office off methodically, Stacey went through the process of locking up her garage. She had stayed late, much later than the few other guys who worked for her, insisting on getting some ordering and bookkeeping done before heading home, but after the busy hours so she could get more done without interruption. Besides, there was only an empty apartment awaiting her, and she didn’t see much difference between sitting at either place if she was to be alone. At least at the garage she was being useful, and it was always a comfortable place for her to spend time.

Tugging on her loose knit hat and coat, she locked the last door behind her and stuffed her hands in her pockets, readying herself for the cold walk home. It wasn’t terribly far, short enough to warrant the walk and skip the cab fees, but long enough she could get chilled. Aside from the normal hustle and bustle of the city, it was fairly quiet that time of the evening, in the middle of the week. Something that was both a comfort and a concern, depending on how you chose to look at it.

So it was that reason that she was perhaps more aware of her surroundings than she would’ve been on an average night, senses tuned to any signs of trouble that she should avoid. Strange enough things had happened in New York in past few years, and she wasn’t looking to be added to the city’s statistics. Finding herself pausing at the end of an alley as she passed, she couldn’t help but notice the familiar sounds of a motorcycle engine having difficulty, and she slipped inconspicuously around the corner to investigate.

Standing in the shadow cast by the brick building, she squinted down the dark alley, trying to make out the shapes that were the origin of the sound. The bike would start up, but each time the rider would try to rev it or put throttle on, it would sputter and choke out without exception. Muttered cursing muffled by a full face mask helmet filtered through the air over to her, and as her eyes adjusted to the dark, she could just make out the outline of the bike as someone in full riding gear dismounted in abject frustration.

Maybe it was something she should have walked past, it was a dark alley in New York at night. The person on the bike could be hiding for any number of illicit reasons, and perhaps they wouldn’t take kindly to being found. However, the part of her that found it hard to walk away from anyone in need was winning over quickly. Especially when she was fairly sure what was wrong and had the ability to help. It wasn’t likely the bike was being stolen, whomever it was wouldn’t likely be in full gear and would certainly have given up on something even mildly conspicuous some time before that. That kind of stubborn dedication in the face of failure was usually only reserved for an owner, someone who loved it enough to keep trying.

Taking in a deep breath, she fortified her courage and decided to speak up while staying out of complete view, just in case the rider had a negative reaction to being found. “You’re not gonna get anywhere on that bike with it doing that, no matter how hard you try,” she said clearly, but not overly loud.

Raphael was pretty sure that if he didn’t love the bike so much he would have kicked the hell out of it. He tried again, started her up, put the throttle on and…nothing, straight up coughed and hacked like Donnie accidently eating hot sauce and died. He growled in frustration, dismounting the damned thing to inspect the problem, not that he had found one in the last ten minutes of trying to get home. He flicked on the dual LED’s sitting at either side of his helmet and was about to have another look when he was interrupted. He turned towards the voice, undoubtedly female.

“Say what?” he grunted, in no mood to entertain some curious human. He realised she was squinting in the harsh light he was flooding on her and cursed under his breath and fumbled to turn them off. It gave him a chance to get a good look at her though and immediately he was drawn to her curves. Hourglass figure, he was a sucker for those. Mentally he slapped himself, thankful she couldn’t see under his helmet for more than one reason.

Mind on the bike dipshit…

Blinking to try and adjust her vision back to the dark after he had directed his attention and lights towards her, she cleared her throat and stepped forward cautiously. There was no sense in hiding, he knew she was there, obviously. If he didn’t want help, which is the answer she was used to getting from guys too threatened to accept help from a girl, he could tell her to piss off and she’d gladly leave him to it. But he hadn’t yet, so she was still set on helping if she could. “I said,” she started to repeat, rubbing her palms against her jeans and adjusting her jacket on her shoulders. “That you’re not getting anywhere with that bike no matter how much you tinker in this alley. Unless you’re looking to roll it home.” His helmet, the narrow visor tinted dark and reflective angled back to her, some kind of inquisitive tilt to his head, but because she couldn’t see his expression, she couldn’t tell if it was challenging or genuine. Steeling herself and trying to appear non threatening, she crouched down at a respectable distance, no closer than the length of the bike itself, and rested her elbows against her knees. “Best case scenario is you’ve fouled your plugs. Slightly worse case, the injector port in your carb is clogged.” @cowabungacarlspartyservices

Raphael’s eyes widened a little. Given the time of night and the area, he genuinely thought he was approached by a chick running some sort of scam, but hell if she didn’t know her stuff. He cursed under his breath and looked back at his bike, figuring he should have been able to diagnose it himself. He kicked gravel with his wide boot and folded his arms. “Fuckin’ perfect…” he grumbled.

His attention was drawn to the woman once again and he couldn’t hide the fact that he was impressed. “You sound like you know your stuff…what makes you so sure it’s that?”

Following his movement to rise back up into a standing position, she shrugged, looking at the mysterious man curiously. Most people would take off their helmet to talk to someone, or at least lift their visor. Of course, most men would’ve told her off, as well. And he did neither. He questioned her, but it sounded like genuine curiosity, not a challenge.

Blinking a little in surprise, she directed her attention back to the bike. “Well, this is obviously a custom bike, and well done at that,” she explained, noting in the light of his headlamps that it seemed like an armored dual sport bike, something of an odd choice for the streets of New York. Curious indeed. “But that means you’re not likely to have a lot of the sensors and crap that tend to muck up the newer bikes, which leaves mechanical error. It doesn’t happen a whole lot, but enough that when you hear it, you know. I mean, it could be something worse, but if it got you here without any trouble, which I’m just assuming, it’s really not likely,” she explained, rocking back on her heels and stuffing her hands into her pockets. “I’ve got a shop a couple of blocks over, these alleys kinda zig zag in that general direction. I could give you a hand, get you back on the road tonight, if you want.“

Raphael was hesitant. There were few humans he associated himself with, namely April and Casey and he was reluctant to get attention from this one. Still, if what she said was true then maybe he could get the bike fixed and get his ass home before Fearless got back from his training session with Mikey…maybe. He mulled it over, wondering why this woman was trying to be so damned helpful to a stranger, not only that, but a stranger who hadn’t revealed his face. In the end it boiled down to what choice did he have? He cleared his throat, not entirely sure how to go about this.

“Sure…but uh ain’t it shutting down time for most garages around here?” he asked her, taking hold of the handlebars.

She knew her stuff alright, was observant enough to appreciate his bike, something made his pride swell just a little. She was an interesting one for sure…

After her offer, Stacey found herself holding her breath. The helmet may have kept her from getting any clues from his expression, but his posture had exuded hesitancy. She fully expected that to be the point where she got turned down, like she had grown accustomed to. So when he grabbed the handlebars and accepted, she was more than a little surprised.

Normally, she wouldn’t walk through the alleys by herself in the dark, but something instinctual told her it was alright. Not that she wasn’t going to be wary, but she allowed herself the risk. Gesturing with her head in the opposite direction from which the bike was pointed, she stepped out of the way while he turned it around. Blinking as the light glinted off a chain strapped to his pack, she tilted her head. Honestly, all of it should’ve been natures way of saying “do not approach” but instead it was reminding her of something she just couldn’t quite put her finger on, and she found herself unable to let it go.

Hurrying to pace him on the side and lead the way, she gave him a lopsided grin. “Some time ago,” she answered, pulling her keychain out of her pocket and jingling it. “But you’re in luck. It’s my shop, I get to do whatever I want.”

Raphael nodded, following her as he pushed his bike along. He noticed her eyeing up his gear suspiciously, what kind of nutjob did she think he was? Still, she was trusting enough to bring him back to her shop. Either she was confident as hell or doubly stupid, he chose to believe the former. As they walked through the alleyways he couldn’t stop his eyes wandering to her hips, the way they moved from side to side as she walked. He wondered if she knew how much she wiggled when she walked, then he internally slapped himself for being so distracted.

“Yours huh? Y'look kinda young to own your own business. You got anyone workin’ late there?” he asked, wondering if her confidence came from knowing she had company back at her shop.

Not that they could do anything to him. She was putting herself at risk trusting him, good job he wasn’t one of the bad guys…

Eyeing him sideways after his question, she considered him for a minute. His choice of gear hid a lot, but it said a lot, too. Just like his bike, it was armored, the kind of leathers someone wears that expects trouble or rides recklessly. Maybe both. He was tall enough, not incredibly so, but still taller than her 5'9”, and quite some bit stockier. Obviously an athletic build from the set of his shoulders and the way the leather settled around his limbs. Then to top it all off, there really wasn’t anything descriptive about any of it. It said a lot about how he went about doing whatever it was that he was doing, but absolutely nothing about who he was. Someone with something to hide. But something in the rough Brooklyn accent lead her to believe he wasn’t asking because he was casing the situation, like one might expect from a question like that.

Chains, armor, dual sport bike, athletic, mysterious… could it be … No. There were rumors, sightings… but no. There was no way. She was letting the dark alley get to her imagination, was all.

“Yeah, I inherited it,” she said calmly, flashing him another smile. “Grew up in that shop, been turning wrenches since I was old enough to hold them. Technically, I was the one working late. Everyone else went home ages ago. Seems like the start of a bad horror flick, huh? Follow me down this dark alley so I can take you into the garage of chainsaws.” Deferring to humor to see if she could gauge a response, she made a gesture like she was starting one up.

Raphael hesitated for a moment. Was she making fun of him? He reassured himself it was just a joke, that she was probably feeling more on edge than he was and he grunted a polite “heh” to at least give her something. “I’ll check out yer chainsaws later. As for now, hows about you take a look and gimmie an estimate.” He asked, pushing the bike further into the garage.

In this dim light and the tinted visor, it was difficult to fully focus on her. But he couldn’t deny that from what he could make out, he was fairly impressed. Long brunette hair, creamy looking skin…he slapped himself mentally, now who sounded like a serial killer? He cleared his throat and turned his helmet away, not wanting to make it obvious that he was looking at her. “I uh, I want you to know I appreciate this. Not many people aroun’ here would help a guy out this time of night. But I gotta ask, what were you doin’ walkin’ home alone this late?”

“You’re right, they wouldn’t. Kind of why I’m doing it. Be the change you want to see in the world, as they say. Although I’d settle for the city,” she explained, blushing a little and turning away as she got the garage opened and the lights on. No need to wax poetic with a stranger and make him think she’s any more weird than he probably already did. “So don’t worry about it. I’m happy to help.”

Directing him to her motorcycle lift, she pulled her hair back into a high ponytail and shed her jacket, rolling up her sleeves as he positioned it. “As for being alone, I guess I’m just not the smartest, huh? I suppose I’ve just kinda gotten used to it over the years, I don’t think about it much. Sometimes it’s just… easier.”

Realizing she was again venturing into awkward conversation (like an idiot) she busied herself with using the pedal for the hydraulic lift and raising the bike. Once it was up, she tapped the exhaust pipes experimentally with her fingertips, finding them cool and safe to work around. Reaching around the armor plates, she felt around for the bolts holding them on and set about getting the appropriate ratchet. “Feel free to make yourself comfortable, you can put your helmet and pack on the bench if you want. Even working fast, this’ll take a few.” Glancing up at him over the tire, she watched as he fidgeted a little, and noticed his odd gloves for the first time. Blinking, she tried to think of the benefit fewer digits in a glove would have, but also figured she’d been weird enough. “What uh, had you out so late? Bike’s been sitting a few.”

He stiffened a little. It was true his image was making the news, people everywhere were gossiping about the nightwatcher but nobody had a true description of him, something he had been relying on. She seemed to know something, or at least she thought she did. Could he keep quiet and not come off as a total creep? It wasn't like he could just own up to being a vigilante, it kind of ruined the image...

"Best time to get on your bike in New York City...less traffic." he lied, turning away from her with folded arms.

He didn't want to be rude, especially when she was doing him a pretty big favor. He tapped his foot and tried to think of some sort of viable excuse as to why some weirdo wouldn't take off his helmet and give her a straight answer to a simple question and how long had he been standing with his back to her? Idiot...

"Look, I er..."

A loud snap was heard outside the garage, then the door began rattling and instantly Raphael knew what was happening. This was just typical. He lurched forward and hit the lights, grabbing the girl to usher her into the corner.

"Stay low and stay quiet!" he whispered, then disappeared into the darkness as unfamiliar voices filled the room.

There were three of them, equipped with crowbars, lock picks and one fully loaded handgun...

Leonardo’s guard was up. He didn’t exactly want to reveal himself, but thanks to his brother, they had already been exposed. He steeled himself and stepped forward, dim light from the pizzeria windows accetuating his distinctly not human features. He watched her expression carefully, observing her reaction to his visage to try and understand how familiar she was with the sight of them. His brothers remained silent in the shadows, waiting for an attack of some sorts or for a flash of a camera to go off.

None came, but Leonardo was still highly suspicious.

“And what do you want in return.” he asked simply.

They had nothing to offer, mostly Leonardo wanted to know if they were going to be blackmailed and if that was the case, things woudl have to get nasty.

As the large terrapin stepped out of the shadows, Lacy’s breath nearly caught at the sight of him. She’d seen them from afar but to see this one up close, she could see each and every detail that indicated he was a turtle, and yet here he stood before her, expression and stance very much human.

Of all the moments to employ her polite nature, she looked away briefly to indicate she wasn’t a threat and she wasn’t rudely staring despite the fact that she so desperately wanted to look some more.

She drew her gaze back toward the being that stood slightly taller than her and held the phone out.

“Well….now that you mention it. Maybe….one small favour.”

He reaction to him wasn’t surprising. Seeing something on a phone and seeing something standing a foot away from you were two completely different experiences. An unfriendly grunt was heard behind him and Leonardo frowned. Raphael was supposed to be keeping stealthy, not sounding his disapproval. He stepped towards the girl, looking for any signs of a weapon she might have concealed.

“And might that be?”

He was poised, ready to defend himself if there were attackers nearby. For all he knew, she could have been stalling, waiting for the enemy to come to them. But it was all speculation, for now he played it as cool as he could.

“You guys….you’re the vigilantes that have been cleaning up around here, haven’t you?” Lacy questioned, already knowing the answer.

The leader remained stoic, choosing not to confirm or deny but his silence was all the confirmation she needed.

“This favour,” she continued, “….see, I work with kids. Troubled kids. And there’s this one I’m afraid is toeing the line and heading in the wrong direction. The Foot are interested in him and…I’m afraid he’s gonna get recruited. If it hasn’t happened already, it’s coming.”

It was an interesting proposition. The boys had watched helplessly as dozens of youths were sworn into the Foot clan. Hell they’d fought them from time to time, pushed forward as cannon fodder and eager to prove themselves. It was a depressing cycle, but they hadn’t been able to do anything about it. Being what they were, they couldn’t exactly approach these teens and talk them round.

“I see…” Leonaro nodded, but he didn’t say anything else.

“And how exactly do you expect us to help out, lady?” Raphael stepped out from the shadows, leaving the other two hidden.

His shoulders were broader, his muscles a little thicker and his voice was direct, more aggressive than his brother.

“Dunno if you’ve noticed darlin’, butt we can’t exactly pull the kid aside for a chat.”

Again, Lacy found herself trying hard not to stare rudely but it was near impossible when the other terrapin stepped forward to reveal himself. His brow was knit in an assertive fashion behind that red bandana, his voice laced with tautness revealing his brusque personality.

“I know…” she drew her words out and suddenly realized she didn’t have a plan past this. She didn’t know what to expect when meeting the vigilantes to return the phone, and she wasn’t prepared when the leader asked her what she wanted in exchange. Initially, it was nothing, but now she could perhaps use this encounter to her advantage.

“Train me,” she offered, her eyes flicking between the two brothers to gauge a reaction. “I know basic self defense, we’re trained in it before we’re allowed to take the job with the kids, but I want to learn skills that I can pass on to him and make him feel more empowered. If you don’t want to reveal yourselves to him, then teach me and I’ll teach him. I can’t lose this one.”

Leonardo's eyes widened and he turned to Raphael, noting that his brother was equally as surprised.

"Teach you? Lady this stuff doesn't just happen over night. You wanna make a difference you'll be training for years!" Raphael explained, frustration clear in his voice.

Leonardo held out his hand, motioning for his sibling to step back a little. This was an odd situation...she hadn't threatened to out them to the public, she hadn't questioned what they were or how they'd come to be. It seemed as though she genuinely just wanted their help. He glanced over his shoulder and his brothers stepped out of the shadows, happy enough to reveal themselves.

"Listen...the only thing we can do is keep an eye out. I don't know when you saw us but you obviously know that the Foot Clan are our enemy. We fight, we try and keep them off of the streets but we're outnumbered and vulnerable teens slip through the net."

He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. She was so genuine and he found himself anxious not to disappoint her.

"Look, we'll try, that's all I can promise. Thank you for handing back the cell, but we can't meet like this again. If you're seen talking to us it could be-"

There was a change in the air and they all sensed it. Instantly Leonardo closed the gap between them and grabbed the girl, pushing her behind him as he backed against the wall, swords drawn. Raphael had his sais ready, Michelangelo and Donatello were holding out their weapons defensively as the black clad warriors stepped out of the shadows. They were surrounded.

"-dangerous...Stay behind me!" Leo commanded, his blades clanging against the enemies swords as they lunged at him.

Donatello smiled, he couldn't help it! Nobody relayed this much personality over the phone to tech support, he was lucky if they even said a thank you. And a Star Wars reference too...this was interesting. With a surprised giggle he pushed his headset closer to his ear. "Oh I see padawan...erm sorry. So it's freezing every now and then...alright. If you could tell me the make of the laptop? Uh huh, yep I know the one. Give me one second ma'am and we'll look at some options."

Really he paused so he could take a swig of coffee, but he didn't want her to know that. "I assume you've tried restarting it?"

"Yes if they want to...I don't usually but it's all about preference."

She grew nervous, as he expected she would. It wasn't his intention to frighten her, but this was far too important to just leave it. He smiled as naturally as he could and led her to Donnie at a relaxed pace.

"We're just going to see Donnie, he's been doing some research and he needs to talk to you about your claws."

He turned back and, despite his better judgement, offered his hand to her to make the journey a little easier for her.

"Don't worry, you're not in trouble or anything. He's had a look at that liquid that came from your claws and he thinks he knows what it is. We might be able to give you some answers on how it works." he explained to her.

@cowabungacarlspartyservices

"Ah yeah sure! Hold on lemme find the remote...fuckin' thing...where'd it..." He dug around the sofa, flinging a cushion behind him before he uncovered the little controller. Wordlessly he switched on the TV, flicking through the channels to find the right one. "You'd think they'd have unhooked the cable by now...lucky us huh?" After settling, he sat back on the couch, patting the seat beside him before he let his shell sink back into the cushions. He was thankful for her suggestion, hopefully this way he could get his fucking balls back... @juniper-bangbang

Raphael snorted at that last comment, looking at her with a raised eyebrow and he took a swig of soda as he walked towards her.

“No need to, we got beds. We may look like animals but we don’t live like ‘em…” he said before taking her back pack from her and putting it on the couch.

The lair was warm and spacious, filled with arcade machines and skateboards. The tv was huge, sitting surrounded by worn but comfortable couches. Raphael stood awkwardly, not one for polite conversation with a complete stranger.

“So er…y’want a drink or somethin’?”

She perked a brow, “I figured you guys had beds, Raphael. I just didn’t want anyone having to sleep on a couch or floor because of me..” she said, fiddling with a piece of her hair as she looked down at the floor.

“I didn’t mean to make you think I was looking down on your or something..sorry..” she said, exhaling a deep breath. Running her hand through his hair. Now she felt like an ass, for possibly hurting his feelings.

Raphael sensed her unease. Truthfully he hadn’t taken offence, it was just a passing comment that apparently didn’t come out like he had wanted, same as always. He berated himself internally for not knowing how to simply talk casually with a human.

“Hey I didn’t say that…didn’t think you were…I just-uh…look do ya want a drink?” he asked flustered.

At that point his brothers returned, Michelangelo bursting forth when he noticed the girl standing in the lair.

“Alright welcome to Maison d’Turtle! Lemme show ya around and you can check out my high scores!”

Could relate to that, her own comments seeming to get taken the wrong way. Even if she really meant nothing bad by them, she crossed her arms and smiled softly. Giving a little nod before her attention quickly turned towards the other turtles.

She couldn’t help but grin widely at the yougest turtle, his energy just bring forth some form of contagiousness. “How’s your head feeling?” she asked, that being her more prior concern right now.

Michelangelo posed, standing tall like a superhero. “Ain’t nothin’ at all! I can handle that and wor-Ow!!” He yelped as Donnie walked past, flicking his boisterous brother’s skull to prove a point. “In to the needle room wise guy, you have concussion.” He told him, smiling apologetically at their new guest. Michelangelo pouted like a scolded puppy, shoulders slumping as he slowly followed the family doctor. Leonardo set down his katana in their rightful place and approached her cautiously. “Um…I’m sorry about your new living arrangements miss. I promise you it will only be for a short while. We have a spare room you can stay in for the time being. You can return to the surface when we’re sure the foot won’t bother you.” @poweredbykraang

Rey snickered softly as Donnie’s scolding towards Mikey. Nodding with a smile towards Don’s apologetic look. Turning towards Leonardo as she crossed her arms over her chet. Unsure of what to do with her hands at the moment.

“Please, call me Rey. Miss makes me feel like a mom or something.” she said with a sheepish chuckle.

“But, seriously don’t worry about it. Thank you guys for, well, trusting me enough to let me stay here. Mm..If there’s anyway I can help out, just let me know.”

Leonardo nodded respectfully.

“Rey it is then. You don’t need to worry about helping, you’re down here as our guest.” he explained.

“Yeah but if ya feel like it you can help baby sit Mikey…” Raphael snorted behind them, taking out his Sai to put away for the night.

A room with soft golden light glowing from within caught Leonardo’s attention. He glanced over Rey’s shoulder then settled back on her.

“Excuse me.” he began, bowing his head politely before he walked past her. “Raphael will show you to your room.”

The red banded mutant glared at his brother, his eyes burning into his shell until he disappeared from sight. They would probably have it out later. Slowly he exhaled through his nostrils and turned back to Rey.

“Uh…you wanna go to bed or can I getcha somethin’ to eat?”

Honestly was curious as to where Leonardo was going, even leaning to the side to try and catch a glimpse into the room. She adjusted her glasses and turned towards Raphael. Her stomach growled softly at the mention of food, and she definitely didn’t want to go to bed hungry.

“If it’s not too much trouble..food would be nice.” she said, giving a smile. Also, maybe she could get to learn about these strange mutant turtles a little more.

Raph started opening draws, grunting in disappointment when all he found was beans, cheap noodles and tuna. "Er...pizza ok? I think we got some in the freezer." He swung open the freezer door and was instantly attacked by falling boxes of pizza of every variety of toppings. He growled in embarrassment and shoved them all back in, glancing back at Rey. "Guess we got a few...what type d'ya like?" @heibertee @poweredbykraang
