My desk in October 2021
8.3.24 | golden hour in my favorite cafe getting some writing done 🌞
27.04.16 don’t skive off school kids, unless you only have PE in the afternoon and there is a great coffeeshop round the corner to revise in
I finished my bachelors thesis on a lazy Tuesday afternoon in a cozy Café ✍🏼📝
Studying outside was such a good idea 🍃

gloomy fall days >>>> i’ve actually had a lovely day so far, despite the amount of work i have to get done this weekend! i’m splitting my time between productive work and time off screen going for walks and knitting :-) 🍁🍂

golden hour + thesis writing! unfortunately i haven’t made as much progress as i’d hoped yet, had a rough couple of weeks but i feel like i’m getting back into it now. still very much motivated and still really enjoying it! all in all feeling stressful yet optimistic
saturday study date with M
getting an early start with 2 straight hours of writing (exhausting!), a vegan croissant (delightful!) and some falling snow (distracting!)
This isn’t just any old desk, this is the place that i work my butt off to secure a stable future 😫 no but for real — can we just talk about how organised this picture looks please.. (psst, my instagram)
ive trying to consciously make studying enjoyable, but also rigorous and productive lately. started by downloading forest and tidying up my desk (a very good mix of art and law obvs). today is day one. hope everyone is staying safe.
it's going
Finally got some good news yesterday ✨
march is coming to an end. this month was so wacky, with me going to my first party, meeting my research advisor and spending about 2 hours with her, starting remote classes, and finally baking bread. i want to remember how satisfying it was to plan an entire week ahead so that i could enjoy myself throughly at the party. i also want to remember how nice it was to not be nervous around the wonderful new people i met, and how comfortable i was with all my decisions i’ve been making. i want to see myself grow better though, and i hope this month and the next, while spring turns to summer, will be a beautiful metamorphosis for me.
