What are you reading?
Shout out to Aaron Novik and Calvin Reid, rocking their old school CAB shirts at the show this Saturday
Such an intense day, and gone like a phantom! Thank you to my co-curator Courtney Menard for helping craft and produce a meaningful slate of diverse talks and helping with thankless behind-the-scenes tasks, to the special guest artists who did the talking (and created slideshows etc of their amazing work), to volunteer Robin Enrico for tolerating my extremely derail-orientated approach, to the volunteers for keeping the energy up and helping us kick ass, to the Pratt Institute for allowing us to rent this unique venue, to professor Tom La Padula for helping us communicate with Pratt’s administration and doing some of the heavy lifting, to Rodger Binyone and Erik Z for curating and building an amazing installation this year, to all of the unbelievably diverse and innovative publishers and exhibitors, and to the thousands of beautiful people who left their homes to come explore this work! We all, together, make this event what it is: a unique celebration of the greatest art currently being made on planet Earth. I salute you. - CAB founder and director Gabe Fowler
