12 months into 2020 and I’ve probably enjoyed like 5 days total

I have an entirely new dimension of fan art to share and I’m incredibly excited about it! My friend Brim is the incredible perfumer behind Death and Floral - and, to my delight, as a fellow Swiftie she’s started creating some folklore-inspired fragrances.
First, Cardigan: “Bergamot and spiced cardamom blended with Egyptian musk superior and sandalwood.”
Cardigan is gloriously warm, spicy, and cozy. The cardamom spice in particular is just exquisite! Overall this one feels snuggly and soft (like your favorite cardigan, maybe?) but with a bit of a bittersweet edge to it. I really love this one - I want all my clothes to smell like this, I want to take a bath in it, I want a complementary tea with all the same coziness.
I think this fragrance is a fantastic representation of Cardigan and when I smell it I can definitely picture the cabin in the music video smelling just like it. It’s mature, cozy, and warm, and maybe I’m just projecting my interpretation of Cardigan onto it, but it feels a touch melancholy as well. 🖤
Peace, Taylor Swift

“And you poke that bear till her claws come out and you find something to wrap your noose around” keeps hitting me…..like the universal female experience of having a man purposefully rile you up/say something they know will offend you or push your buttons all in an attempt to justify their perception of you as crazy or over-emotional. Growing up hyperaware of this tactic and finding yourself suppressing your (valid) emotions in certain situations cause you know they’ll just use it against you (“she should be mad, should be scathing like me, but no one likes a mad woman”). Sigh……………

I can’t believe Taylor released a song asking men what it was like to have her exact same accomplishments, including getting bitches and models, and everyone was like “yes SO heterosexual”
