Spring has arrived, vivid in the way flowers bloom, no longer weighed down & hidden beneath snow. The air is lighter & breezes are gentle, the brisk winter winds now gone. It’s nice to be able to go out without having to bundle up in several layers of clothes. The gym leader is making the most of the beautiful spring weather by resting on the fresh grass, her head on his lap. Clair’s aware of his own actions – the feather-like movements within her hair & the faint aroma of whatever flower he’s weaving between strands. She doesn’t open her eyes, dozing as she’s become comfortable with her spot & the gentle touches. It becomes apparent when he’s through, hands moving away from her & they do not return. However —-         ❛   I’m sure it’s beautiful, but I’m not moving to go look.   ❜

              ❛   Do you do this to all of the league members that come to visit you ?   ❜       Settled comfortably on the grass, she opts for small talk as she allows a delicate flower to be placed within a waterfall of periwinkle. The flora is aided by a bobby pin to help it stay, one fished from Clair’s own bag. In all honesty such actions were not something she was expecting when making the journey out to  VIOLET CITY,  but she doesn’t stop him from doing so.

                      Pristine nail taps cheek as thoughts wander over list of everything that needed doing. Anything of importance has already been finished & what’s left could always be put off until the next day, nobody would pay mind to it. That leaves her evening clear to spend some much - needed time with him. Irises cast in his direction as lips twitch into a smirk —-                                      ❛   You know I’m always down for scary movies,                                      so I’m in. I’ll even hold you if you get scared.   ❜                       It just wouldn’t be right if Clair wasn’t a pain in some sort of way. Clair stands as the taunt falls from her lips, back arching into a necessary stretch ( sitting for a while does have its cons ).        ❛   Do you have  any popcorn ?   ❜ 

        Though she’s mildly uncomfortable with another being in such close proximity, Clair is allowing the female to continue. Her head is even tilted forth slightly, an attempt to make it easier for Flannery to weave a delicate piece of flora into Clair’s hair. A quiet breath falls from parted lips once the job is finished & space is put between them. Clair then reaches upward to gently trace the outline of the flower – she doesn’t have a mirror on hand, but it probably looks nice ! A small smile graces lips as attention redirects toward her companion —-                ❛   Thank you. Does this mean I have to put a flower in your hair as well ?   ❜
