I'm a strong believer in that it's genuinely so draining and strange and Bad the way if you make art deemed good enough by the masses then what you make will be eligible for fandomization regardless of whether or not you wanted it to turn into such a thing or otherwise the context behind you even making it to begin with

Personally I think everyone in art communities should be treated with the same mutualship as posting art in a more condensed group than in a hierarchy. Just because someone is big in following doesn't entitle you to play with their creation beyond their boundaries and expect nothing to come if it. Someone else's means of self expression is Not your dollhouse regardless of status
