( // ♡♡  With a dramatic eyeroll, Victoria ignored the boy’s protest and eased in the seat parallel to him, “ Look-- if there were anywhere else to sit, trust me-- I would. So for now hold your complaints for as long as it takes for me to eat.”

He let himself enjoy their embrace, not being close to anyone since before he was jailed. Not getting the chance to be with Victoria since he was behind bars. They hadn’t been themselves together for a very long time and he missed everything about their friendship. Everything about her. He understood her. The two we ridiculously close that they did mostly everything together. Spent all their time together and now they could once again. Now that he was out of jail, he’d make sure the girl was never alone again.

“You’re not alone. You never will be alone, not now that I’m here and that’s a promise.” Nathan held her close to him, genuine smile that only she ever saw forming at the kiss on his cheek. “You’ve got me.” 

( // ♡♡  She couldn’t help but have a silly little grin plastered on her lips as he spoke. Victoria knew that she might look a little silly, smiling all the while she was crying her eyes out. She just couldn’t help it. He was here. NATHAN PRESCOTT in the flesh. She just couldn’t wrap her head around the fact that he wasn’t leaving her this time. He wasn’t falling off the deep end this time-- or at least not if Victoria could help it.

 So she locked her fingers behind his neck, lips still flashing that same goofy smile, as she opened her lips to respond, “ Nathan, we’re so far away from the BAY.  No more school. No more VORTEX. No more JEFFERSON. No more bullshit. We can actually be teenagers.” She was beyond happy as she spoke those words, each syllable rolling off her tongue with ease. “ We’ve got each other, Nathan. We can fuck NEW YORK CITY up,” she said, “ But I think that before we do anything TOO crazy, how about we find a bit of GRASS to smoke ? ”
