I don’t know that I’ll ever really update this tumblr anymore, but just popping in to say I didn’t die, since the last updates were in 2018. 2018 in general was kind of the worst year ever for me in a lot of ways. It just totally changed a lot of my life. I haven’t really drawn since 2018, stopped selling at cons since then (for reals this time), and just really disconnected from a lot of things. I’m doing really well now, but still can’t get the push to get back into drawing or other creative things. Maybe some day.

Bunbunmaru Special: Hakurei shrine maiden attacks attendees at Horismriver Ensemble concert

The much anticipated concert was interrupted by local shrine maiden, Hakurei Reimu, who arrived unexpectedly and began attacked a homeless girl and her sister who were in attendance. The Horismriver Ensemble kindly restarted their performance when it seemed things had settled down. The Hakurei shrine maiden beat up the homeless girl again before deciding she had resolved the incident and left the concert. Some things never change. Thanks for everyone who came out to see my booth! I still have trading cards left over so I guess I’ll be giving them away at CGF too with the series 2 cards. Or maybe I can do a give away of some kind here. Very grateful to everyone who supported my booth. I’ve been in a hole financially, crazy’d out of my job of five years in Feb, and am in limbo with a job I don’t like that is physically destroying me. Things haven’t felt very stable since the start of the year, but A-kon really helped me feel better, and a lot of it was people going out of their way to come see me.Thank you everyone!

Recovered from CGF!

Whew, Classic Game Fest was a pretty good success for us! (I say ‘us’ bc b/f helps sell but it’s really just me) I was happy to be able to provide con-goers with some more unique items to choose from and to take care of their plushie fix. Next year I will have more items, more variety, and more art! Sadly I did not get any pictures of the con besides a pre-con table set up but I think the convention themselves covered that pretty well, There might be some behind-the-table footage of people perusing my table out there! Check the con’s facebook for more. Next year promises to be twice as large and we’ll certainly be back! Thanks to everyone who came by and purchased my art or from our merchandise side, you helped make it my most successful con ever!

Back from A-kon!

Made it back home yesterday evening and basically got everything inside and went to bed. Had a really good time at A-kon this year, even if I literally didn’t go anywhere outside the Artist Alley. I broke a few milestones, almost sold out of a print (people really like the refreshed Scrafty picture!), and nothing totally horrific happened to me or my crews. I’ve been spending the day getting situated and doing inventory but tomorrow I’ll post the commissions I did at the con and any fun pics I took
