hello! i'm gil but you can call me qyuryyus (pronounced curious).

welcome to my blog, it's mostly reblogs, queerness, art, body positivity, furry, with some fandom sprinkled in for good measure. i'm a 22 year old nonbinary metalgender man, my preferred pronouns are metal/metals/metalself but i'll respond to anything neutral or masculine. i'm also a przewalski's horse therian, centaur otherkin, and multiple other otherkin species. ΘΔ therians, non-humans, otherkins, and furries please interact <3

i'm autistic, disabled with chronic pain and (self-diagnosed) hypermobile ehlers-danlos syndome. i'm a cane user (and possibly an ambulatory wheelchair user in the future).

@esotericsurgery : my personal art blog (semi-inactive)

@purpleautismhorse : mlp sideblog

@chocochipjerky : danganronpa sideblog

i do not tag queer slurs! i'm loudly radically inclusive! terfs and the like DNI! if you need something tagged, please lmk, i try my best to be accommodating.

"How to include realistic features in your art - Face Equality Week Special by Kris Volyk ( NWarrior777 )

tumblr shadowbanned this post and you can't find it in tags. it's second try to upload this and reach people it was hardly made for

I've seen this event on instagram and thought that i just have to participate! It's so beautiful celebration of people differences beauty. My participation is to inspire more artist to see this beauty and bring it into art, as representative artist

"How to include realistic features in your art - Face Equality Week Special by Kris Volyk ( NWarrior777 ) PART 2

i really tried hard to finish it in time but my time management is betraying me Q_Q It was las day of the week event... i know that someone said about face equality fridays but i just. wanted to make something special for this week, because this event is so great Q^Q

it doesn't have usual anatomy tutorials, because whole thing is reimagine of how we need to work with human anatomy, appearance and disabilities, as artists of any media: visuals, writing, games etc

i have thoughts about this topic for whole channel but i just don't have time to do everything and say everything i want to say. and i was just very happy to see opportunety to say at least something about it. i see in comments that my words reached people who needed this and it makes me super happy

sorry for typos and mistakes. i gotta go sleep. it was wonderfull expirience to participate in event like that!

disabled trans lesbian artist needs to pay internet bill & rent!

new items added to our ko-fi shop! my name is equinox, i'm a disabled trans lesbian dealing with schizophrenia, psoriatic arthritis, hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome, degenerative disc disease and other health issues. i am stabilizing after being homeless for 6 months. i am severely disabled and my shop is my only form of earned income. right now i need to pay my internet bill, which is required for my income, as well as save up for my rent, which is $178.

It is May 17, 2024. Happy 20th Anniversary to legal status for same sex marriages here in Massachusetts.

Never forget how recent some of our victories are. And how many more fights still lay ahead.

For our Trans siblings, our disabled siblings, our POC siblings, we fight on.

It's wild to me that there are full grown queer adults in the US who have never had a time when they couldn't get married. There's never been a time for them when there wasn't a queer protagonist on TV. (Will and Grace premiered in 1998; Ellen came out in 1997).

I know things aren't as good as they can because I know there's been both forward and backward motion, but holy shit. What an absolute fucking delight to realize how far we've come in 20 years.

🎉 Disabled people still can't marry without losing income, Obergefell was not the end!

There's more queer people to fight for, not just "our Trans siblings, our disabled siblings, our POC siblings."

Fat trans people are denied not only general healthcare but also gender-affirming healthcare, such as top surgery. Fatphobia, including medical fatphobia, is even more than the deadly oppression of fat people. Fatphobia infects every marginalized group's oppression because fat people exist in every marginalized group in the world.

So if you do actually care about queer people, about disabled people, about people of color, about any marginalized group, you need to stand up against fatphobia too. That is the only way to truly make equality happen.

And for anyone who either doesn't understand how fatphobia affects the queer community or just chooses not to believe it, here's a post explaining dozens of ways that fatphobia and queerphobia go hand in hand.

Please finally start caring about your fat queer siblings.
