He kissed her again and again, and each kiss was nearer to the last one of all.

They find each other again after several attempts, several years of just sitting on the bench, just feeling the presence of the other. Now they see each other, now they are finally on one side, together. She remembers their last meeting, whispers those last words so quietly she thinks even Pan can’t quite hear her. She sees Will standing in front of her, his smile wide and cheerful, his face older, his shoulders broader. His eyes are the same brown, they hold the same warmth and love for her as then. She can’t quite bring herself to speak, only to repeat the words. As long as I live. As long as I live… …As long as I live. As long as I live. He repeats, holding her gaze, remembering their last moments from years ago. He can only smile and barely move, thinking this must be just a dream. It isn’t though. Lyra is standing in front of him, leaning against the wall of the Botanical Garden. She’s taller, her then soft hair now shorter and darker. They look more like his now, he thinks. She’s at his arm length now and the moment is so magical, even their daemons are sitting quietly by their sides smiling at each other. As long as I live. I’ll come back here. They repeat they’re last words to each other. No, those are their first words now. First of many. And as he leans towards her face, his hands caressing her cheeks, he finds out she’s still as soft as he remembers.

• from the 1st of December to the 24th you may send nice messages to your assigned person ON ANON. It can be about anything, but you can also ask questions to your assigned person in order to get to know them better
• you have until December 25th to come up with your gift
• on December 25th, you can finally come OFF ANON and give your assigned person their gift
