But seriously do you ever think that all those who died in the battle of Hogwarts probably went on the chocolate frogs’ cards . And Teddy opening one before going on the train to Hogwarts and seeing his parents smiling at him, so they were actually there to see him off on his first year.

George never opens another chocolate frog.  Ever.

Ok, but on a happier note: Remus gets to be on chocolate…..like ……

Love your thinking. He's doing good for the cause AND he's coco

Imagine Dennis Creevey carrying his brother’s card with him, occasionally talking to the image when big events occur in his life. When he graduates Hogwarts. When he proposes. When he gets married. His promotion.

And maybe Dennis picks up photography, as a way to connect to his brother. He photographs the little moments that remind him of Colin. Sunlight sparkling off the surface of the lake. Empty milkbottles from when the two boys used to help their father on his milk run. Red and gold sparks being shot from a wand toward the stars.

That's cruel.

No, you see, we are different.

You hate remadora because you think it ruined the (actually inexistent) chances of your fanon ship ever existing in canon; I hate it because Tonks deserved better than being paired with a loser who was too afraid to love and being loved and who tried to abandon her and their child.

I ship remadora, obvs, this is tot legit. This is what I call a healthy way to despise a ship. Tot legit, Tot fair and intelligent (I'm not ironic, I'm serious)

I'm devastated. DBZ has been such a part of my life for so long, to hear that Akira Toriyama has passed doesn't even feel real.

Ugh! It's SO disrespectful the way some Wolfstars talk to people who have a different point of view from theirs! There's space in this world for everyone to be happy, folks!

Please, listen:

I'm a firm believer that once a piece of work has been put into the world, it kind of belongs to its readers as well, cause we all bring our very own and unique baggage of life experiences and personality imprints into the reading. However, I do believe it is very arrogant of one's part to use that to affirm that the canon simply does not exist (remember reading comprehension at school/exams?) and that any reading that does not resonate with theirs is madness. This is gaslighting, in my opinion.

To all of you who have been operating on that mode: you're not high and mighty. You live with different people in this world, and you have NO right to undermine part of themselves, which is their very own reading. Your urge to slay hurt people. It sounds like a call to deprive them from their own self. Honestly, if you are a Wolfstar, and especially if you claim to fight for a fairer inclusive world, you're being pretty inconsistent, and doing opposite work. Tumblr was a very welcoming place, and now it's a war zone. Ships were supposed to be our safe and happy place.

Language is power. Please mind your language - you can talk about your take on your favourite characters without offending people. If bumping into Remadora art or fics gives you the nerves and you feel like you haven't learned yet how to comment without making it a pointless and harmful competition, I invite you to simply consider taking a deep breath, and running to Wolfstar instead. You trying to impose your interpretation as an universal truth does no good. Let other safe spaces exist as well, apart from yours. The world does not revolve around you and your peers.

Thank you and peace. ✨

Thoughts on Wolfstar?

tldr: i used to enjoy it but the fandom ruined it for me.

the only wolfstar i really enjoy reading is angsty wolfstar, you see.

the thing is- i'm a bit of a prongsfoot truther. i think the two of them - sirius and james - were platonic soulmates. and i think that sirius' story, the themes of his character are not centred around romantic love/attraction. i'm fairly convinced that giving him a partner in the canon wouldn't have added anything to him, and perhaps even taken something away. i can see unrequited!prongsfoot (where sirius doesn't even realise that he's in love with james) as potentially canon.

and, to me, there are two main characteristics that a good wolfstar story has:

  1. james was the most important person in both sirius and remus' lives
  2. the two of them were deeply suspicious of one another after leaving hogwarts

i love the idea of the two of them getting together over their shared grief over losing james to lily in 7th year, each seeing so plainly the other's jealousy and not being able to name their own. i love the idea of a torrid love affair with tons of hate!sex during the first wizarding war because they firmly believe the other's the spy but they love each other. i love the idea of them reuniting in grimmauld and feeling as if they have to cling on to each other because they're the only thing the other has left of the best time of their lives - but they can't, they can't understand each other. sirius sees something blooming between remus and nymphadora and can't help but feeling cheated out of a friend yet. again. and why is he the only person that values friendship more than love?

i love the idea of them referring to their romance as a friendship still, even though no one else would call it that. sirius can't help but feel resentful that remus gets sent on order missions, remus can't help but resent sirius for the privileges he still - still, even as a convicted murderer, however falsely - has. remus is dirt poor, you guys. not many authors underline this properly. so he cannot help but resent someone who throws out ancient family heirlooms like it's nothing.

but. the main problem i have with wolfstar is the fandom. a whole fandom was born around it and i don't particularly care for it. i hate the tropes it upholds - extremely femme/submissive sirius & alpha moony is... it makes me mad on a visceral level, you guys have no idea, and i find it incredibly homophobic - and the way people in it act, the complete perversion of both their characters by people who've never even read the original source material. i don't care for the slander of dora's character either. i much preferred the sweater-wearing, tea-loving, shy remus and leather-jacket wearing sirius that was the fandom stereotype some years ago. it wasn't perfectly canonical, but it also wasn't ridiculous.

I just thought on something. I've def always hated remadors in the movies. Not because of casting (NATALIA, DAVID MY BABIES), but because... Well, plot (I liked the little things we got though) . Now I realize I never noticed something. David and Natalia had such good chemistry, that it doesn't matter if there's no way tonks would be Latino. It doesnt match the books at all (the blacks are not, Ted tonks doesn't sound Latino in the slightest either) .. But she's still perfect. Kudos, representation perfection. And once again, for all the movies faults, kudos on casting'
