It’s gotten a bit cold downstairs where my main drawing setup is, so I’ve been noodling on iPad upstairs in the comfort of heater and couch. Here’s a drawing of train in a cityscape. When I was a little kid I lived near a train track so my mom used to take me to see the trains. I loved them so much as a kid, and my dream back then was to become a train conductor XD

On December 14th (this Friday), the last season of Voltron drops on Netflix. After working on it for over three years, it’s a bit surreal that it’s all coming to an end. The team has put together so much time and effort into bringing this show to life. Studio Mir in Korea is truly a powerhouse of animation. Voltron would have definitely not been possible without the dedication of the talents working at Mir. To the team, It’s was such a pleasure working with you. For some, we’ve been working together since Korra and what a journey we’ve come together after all these years. For those I met on Voltron, It feels like I’ve known you all my life, and I’m grateful that Voltron finally brought us together. We’ve all grown together, and fought the tough battles. And now that it’s coming to an end, I miss you all. So here’s a memoir piece to sum it all up. Till the next time we come together!

Another Rurouni Kenshin piece. I keep re-watching Sojiro’s arc over and over since there are so many great moments both in story, and visual. I especially enjoy the fast flashing effects to convey speed. They’re not only effective, but also very work efficient. Too bad we might never see this kind of effect again to the full extent (thanks pokemon shock). Also the music of this show is spot on.
