Feyre Antis

This is a post I came across. I won’t be including names because I want no hate to them, I just want to put my opinion.

1. Calling Feyre a selfish bitch just proves you don’t read the books throughly.

Feyre grew up being neglected by every single person in her life. Parents. Sisters. I’m assuming whatever help they had in the house considering she didn’t know how to read, write, or swim. Her mother thought she was so unimportant that she refused to acknowledge her. Her father was so caught up in making money and his job he never noticed she was being neglected in basic necessities of life. Her sisters never acknowledged her and when they were older they took advantage of her willingness to provide for her family. They emotionally abused her and treated her like a slave and then stole her money that she risked her life for.

And sure you can say it wasn’t their job to parent her. You are correct. It wasn’t their job to do anything. BUT, loving sisters would see that their sister is working her ASS off to keep them all alive and make and effort to help her. And if they didn’t want to help, then they shouldn’t expect Feyre to do everything and demand her to do things around the house on top of the hunting. They shouldn’t have stolen her money to buy a new cloak or new boots when they objectively didn’t need them as they weren’t doing any hunting or work. Just walking through town.

So if Feyre choosing herself. Choosing her happiness. Choosing to find a family that actually gives a shit about her makes her a selfish bitch then good for Feyre. She deserves to be selfish after everyhting she’s given up for the people around her. And I guess choosing herself for once makes her worse than Nesta ever was. Nesta who would break people down just because she knew how to. Nesta who’s blood sang as she hurt her sisters feelings. Nesta who threatened Feyre on multiple occasions, one being to rip her throat out. But yeah..Feyre doesn’t defend every action Nesta made, makes her apparently a bad person.

2. Calling Feyre and Rhys idiots because they couldn’t stop the cauldron.

You’re telling me that you read ACOWAR and you read how Nesta was the ONLY one who could feel when the caldron was being used, and you read the scene where she warned Cassian JUST in time to save him..and yet you still think to type these words out? To call Feyre and Rhsy idiots because..they What? Didn’t jump in front of the cauldrons power? They didn’t..stop the embodiment of magic mid fucking blast? Please. Use your reading comprehension skills and re read the book.

2. You saying that Rhys shouldn’t have threatened Nesta because she’s a woman and it’s okay Nesta threatens everyone else because she’s a woman and since Rhys is a man he should be the bigger person.

This is an absolutely wild take. So you’re really saying that Nesta is a woman so she can say whatever she wants and that it doesn’t matter that Nesta threatened to kill Feyre, her own flesh and blood as you stated about Nesta being Feyres blood. TO HER FACE. But, Rhys saying he’s going to kill Nesta, while she’s not even in the same room, is the end of the world?

And the cherry on top??

YOU DIDNT EVEN READ SILVER FLAMES.

Yet you are talking about it as if you know what actually happened but you don’t? Because you haven’t read it?

THIS is why misconception and false narratives get spread around this fandom and it’s absolutely ridiculous.

FEYRE IS HIS WOMAN, SHE'S THE ONLY ONE HE WOULD "GO TOO FAR FOR"

Rhysie poo really said "I'll put you above my court" and people thought he wouldn't follow through?

He's not above threatening anyone, especially not someone who told his wife he and her family would "let her die in ignorance" when she herself in the early part of the book said that Rhysand wouldn't let Feyre die and herself chose to keep things from Feyre when they met so they Rhysand could deliver the news with a solution to their problem

"Rhys was breaking Feyre's arm to make her agree to a deal with him" please read it again and use your brain, he was setting the fucking bone

Lucien literally says earlier that he has to set the bone before he can heal it. Rhys was setting the bone so it could be healed.

HE WAS SETTING THE FUCKING BONE BACK, IT WAS POKING OUT OF FEYRE'S ARM

Also, they weren't being nice to each other atp and Rhysand was acting as the bad guy so of course he wasn't going to be as gentle with her as Lucien was.

The way Gwyn is going to love Azriel is going to blow his fucking mind.

You just know that when she loves someone it’s with all her heart, openly and without reservation. We see glimpses of this in her friendship with Nesta.

There’s no forbidden/hidden romance for Gwyn. Az is hardly gonna know what to do with himself and I’m going to love every second of it.

Headcanon that once Gwynriel are happily mated, Emerie jokes that it’s unfair that both training instructors are making eyes at their mates. How are the Valkyries supposed to learn anything at this rate? Gwyn flushes bright red and Nesta rolls her eyes, but Cassian purses his lips thoughtfully.

The next day, there’s a new visitor during training. A certain blonde with a penchant for red. Only now she’s wearing Illyrian leathers and twirling a knife. Emerie stops dead, mouth agape as she stares at the new arrival. Cassian claps Emerie’s shoulder from behind, booming that Mor has temporarily agreed to give lessons to the three women while Az and Cass focus on the other trainees. This configuration, Cassian continues, will mean that Nesta and Gwyn can’t possibly be distracted by their mates anymore. Their lessons will be productive, fixing Emerie’s complaint.

Emerie is nodding blankly in agreement, her eyes a little glassy as she coughs into her hand. Oh no.

High Lady Feyre shows up at the party wearing this baddie. Is it another pretty dress made by Rhys' mom or did she have an "accident" through the sky of Velaris on the way here? (if you know, you know)

Love sketching these. I am drawing down the full looks, though I admit that these portraits are a fun warm-up

Yeah, the tattoo is missing, I know

I love the way you write Eris. I think he’s just a super interesting character in general. But I was wondering what you think happened between him and Mor? If you had any theories or have seen any that you liked? I haven’t read all of your fics yet so if you talk about it in one of them sorry to ask you again!

I have answered this once in the past, but who knows what I tagged it as. Feyre was in Mor's head, and so I do think things went down EXACTLY as Mor saw them. I doubt she was lying in her mind to deceive Feyre. Additionally, Mor feels real fear and is genuinely upset when Rhys goes behind her back to work with Eris.

The fandom, imo, should grapple with why they're willing to automatically believe something sinister happened/ Mor is a liar just because Eris said there was more to the story than Cassian knew. That doesn't make Mor a liar- it just means Eris was keeping secrets and she's not a mind reader. Regardless of whatever Eris's motivations were (and I suspect that he left her there to keep his father from forcing him to marry her, which is hardly noble just fyi), she's not wrong for hating him/being afraid of him.

Eris has also cultivated a reputation as being as brutal as his father. A lot of the anti-Mor/pro Eris sentiment relies on her KNOWING this is a mask but how is she supposed to? It took Cassian 800 pages to decide that perhaps Eris was not as awful as he let on, and Eris certainly did nothing to help Cassian think so.

Two things can be true: Eris harmed Mor that day, along with whatever went on during their engagement (even if they were both unwilling) AND Eris's reasons for doing so were to spare them both. That doesn't absolve Eris of the harm he caused, nor is Mor obligated to forgive him. This fandom understands the concept that women don't owe men forgiveness, their time, their attention UNTIL it comes to Mor. And then she owes all these men something, and is vilified for not holding their hand like she's their mommy.

And finally- this fandom does not love morally grey characters the way they say they do because you can like/stan Eris and acknowledge he's done harm. But too often the harm gets erased in order to stan him/absolve him/place him in a morally superior position to the IC.

Literally free Mor from this fandom. What has she ever done wrong besides not like any of these men?

some sjm fans and antis will write full essays on how much nesta was wronged and how much elain was wronged and how anti feminist the entire book series is and then go “but mor is a lying BITCH did you hear ERIS saying that she was a LIAR that means she’s a LYING BITCH” and then not see the irony

“Mor owes Azriel everything after the centuries of despair she put him through. She owes him an explanation for everything because he was in love with her!!!”

Ah yes. The classic blaming the woman for a man lusting over her when she has made it clear that she doesn’t like him and is uncomfortable by it. A boundary he—and everyone else—knows is there yet completely disregards and disrespects for five centuries. Typical anti woman and misogyny right there!!

Dropping this here since people still refuse to read Acofas and have completely deluded themselves into thinking Mor is lying so they won’t have to feel guilty for liking someone like Eris:

How can y’all still say she’s lying when we literally got the scene of him leaving her in the woods? When Eris said there are still things Mor haven’t accepted because she’s afraid of facing the truth he didn’t mean she was lying about what happened in the woods. He means she has yet to look at why he left her there. Mor believes he is cruel and sadistic (why wouldn’t she) however we know that Eris leaving her to die was his own fucked up way of “saving her”. Eris is saying that deep down Mor knows he left her there to protect her but because she still views him as a cruel person, she has yet to actually acknowledge what he did to “help her”.

This does not mean he didn’t leave her to die in the wood. This does not mean he didn’t spend centuries degrading and harassing her. All this means is Eris had other motives when he left her to die and they weren’t all malicious (he’s still a fucked up person though).

And lastly just a quick question. Why are y’all so quick to believe Eris and not Mor even though we literally have the scene of him leaving her? Why do y’all disregard everything the woman says (even though we have evidence backing it up) in favor of the man who tormented her for centuries? Mor gives us her pov of everything that happened and she’s still called a liar but Eris says there’s more to the story once and y’all flock to his side.

I am so unbelievably sick of women not being believed

My fav ACOWAR scene is when Feyre absolutely DESTROYS Beron in front of the all the Highlords. Like he tried to fight back with fire and then she just wiped it out like it was nothing. If I was him I would have hurried my ass back to the Autumn court and resigned

people when the forget feyre is a powerhouse of a woman
