Here he is -- the sunshine boy, the boy with the sweetest smile in all of China. He is very smol, and very adorable.
Also featuring Local Corpse Uncle (I know he’s not *literally* an uncle but ...) -- two versions of him, as a matter of fact! The first photo are the Sizhui and Wen Ning that live here with me, and then the second one is the set I made as a commission. For that one, a more Ghost General aesthetic for Wen Ning was requested.

A papercraft commission for @b9rambling. The whole time I worked on this I was listening to “Light” by Sleeping At Last on repeat and making horrible sad faces down at my worktable to evoke the right mood and feeling horrible sad feelings about Jiang Cheng being backhanded straight into Single Dadhood all alone. It’s fine!! Everything’s fine!!!!!!

But HOLY CRAP, this piece is *so stunning* I legit actually teared up when I opened the package?? The craftsmanship is breathtaking, the composition is amazing, and the emotions it evokes feel like getting PUNCHED IN THE GUT (but like, in the best way possible??)
I seriously feel so lucky to get to see this gorgeous art of my favorite sad, sad Grape and his baby nephew every time I go into my studio. I notice new details every time I look at it (like the mourning sash?? I thought I’d survived the first wave of feels but that KILLED ME. DECEASED. Again, in the best way possible.)
@yutaan is a genius. Now, excuse me while I go continue to cry forever about how much I love this sad (and angry) purple man and the child he would do anything to protect T_T

Jin Ling bun has been waiting forever to get finished because I needed gold paint for some details! I finally got it in the mail a week or so ago and, in typical me fashion, only just now remembered to photograph him ^_^;
He’s one of two I’ve made so far with the “junior bun” pattern (the other is Sizhui, who I still need to post here, oops). The junior buns are smaller than the regular ones and I can’t get over how cute and tiny they are! Happy with that pattern for sure.
I will now vanish from Tumblr for like, another week(s) and then reappear from the void with more buns. Hope you’re all doing well out there <3
(Oh, also, I suck at advertising but all these buns can totally be remade if there’s one that catches your eye, just so you know ;) )

The bun collection is still growing (and I am still catching up photographing them, whoops). Here is Mr. King of Angelic Smiles, Lan Xichen -- although oops he’s not smiling here. Sometimes I feel like that, too, buddy -- like, “maybe if I just close my eyes real hard then the world will stop being so terrible.”

So, when this project started, I was just planning on making a pair of magnetic WangXian buns ... that was it!! Somehow, though, it blossomed into apparently taking on like half the cast?? And there’s still more to come? (In other news I’m terribly behind in photographing everyone and oops, when will I actually do anything on time ^_^;)
I’m not sure who gave him permission to overwhelm me with such a wave of feels upon my second rewatching of the show, but here is our favorite Angry Grape/Jiujiu Doing His Best <3 Now can someone please tell him to give my emotions back? Because I was using those for something. (Although who am I kidding, being in this fandom for me is a constant emotional seesaw between WangXian feels and Yunmeng Bros and/or Protective Jiujiu feels, and sometimes it’s just all the feels all at once!)

The adventures of plush Wuxian and Wangji buns + me under quarantine ... somehow we all managed to get dinner made without Wuxian dumping a pound of dried chili into the congee XD This is why he is only allowed to “supervise...”

So, I've been sewing little plush bunnies recently, and I’ve been making a bunch in pairs. I recently decided I wanted to open up commissions for custom ones inspired by couples/ships from fandoms and I needed an example pair, so -- what better example than Wangxian buns??
LWJ bun and WWX bun both have magnets in their little hearts, so they’re drawn together -- as if by destiny ;) (There’s definitely other plushies out there that stick together with magnets, so I take no credit for this idea, but I thought it was super cute!)
Also, please forgive my bad handwriting for the 忘 (wàng) and 羡 (xiàn) T_T ! This ABC should’ve paid more attention in their Chinese School classes on penmanship, LOL ...
