it’s so weird not being friends with people that used to be really important to u like u never stop being reminded of them bc their personalities and sense of humor and so many little details about them will always be in ur brain like u could see something in a store and think “they would like that” or watch a video and think “they would think this is funny” or even just the most random shit will make u think of them and it’s such a weird feeling
me: i like this thing! my brain: excellent, it’s your reason to live now. you won’t be able to think about anything else for a few days, weeks or even months. talking about virtually anything else will be a nightmare, but so will be talking about The Thing, because no one shares your level of enthusiasm. have fun!

ladies and gents,
since some of you are my drag whorses, I just wanted to share a couple of life updates!
I got engaged on Christmas Day to my wonderful human who has been my rock through a lot this last year and is already doing awesome this year through my grad school applications and transition to my promotion at work. being with him also means that I am going to be a step-mommy to his wonderful seven year old when we get married.
Which leads me to, I got a mf promotion without even being at my job a year! Actually it was very shortly after my 6-monthiversary. I am now a lead teacher of my own classroom of small beans 3-5 year olds and I love my job!
and to top it off, today at 4:00pm on the dot, I received my acceptance letter for my graduate program! ya girl is going to get her master's in Special Ed, yo
