hello! my name is mariam and i have decided to make a writeblr because i love suffering :)

my main wip is called tales of the divine (a working title) and it is set in an alternate version of ancient egypt/africa in general. it contains themes such as forbidden magics, cultism and religion, murder, corrupt governments, all the good stuff. the majority of the characters are people of colour and have differing sexualities because ✨ diversity ✨

i mostly like to read young/new adult because that’s what i like writing, dark fantasy (low or high), mystery, anything with romance in it, fairytale retellings, anthologies, mythology and on the odd occasion, futuristic sci-fi. the two things that make me go feral are (you guessed it) found family and enemies to lovers.
