I'm still not here here and I know that people have reached out to me, please don't think I'm ignoring you - I just really don't have the mental capacity to hold a conversation right now. I'm certainly going through the 5 stages of grief and it's fucking hard to accept that they're gone, even if I was there while they took their last breath and so I know that it's real. I guess you could say I'm currently flitting between denial and anger right now.

Mats, despite all actions contradicting this, liked tradition and December brought on a lot of them for him. He enjoyed his countdown to the big day. He enjoyed buying his food and drinks so that he can enjoy his evenings. He enjoyed celebrating with his family and friends. He enjoyed Christmas markets. He enjoyed putting up a small tree, some light decoration but it was his. And even though he was single previously, it made him feel good to celebrate in some way. This year however, she’d strolled into his life and made him want to make new traditions while also sharing his own and that included tonight. 

He’d taken her around the market, encouraged her to have a light lunch and nothing too heavy because she’d have more than enough to sample whilst there to give her a full course meal and he wasn’t wrong. She’d tasted some of the most amazing dishes that she may not have considered previously, one of them she chose as the main meal to eat and she’s already loaded it up on her phone with the intention of trying to imitate it at home.

December comes around faster each year and there are times when Christmas festive stock is lining the shop shelves before Halloween items are put up for sale. Big tins of chocolates, spiced biscuits and cake. Coffee shops brought out a festive variety of coffees and this would prove to be hard to resist for him. 

She didn’t want to overindulge this festive season, but she did like dipping into a few snacks while watching movies while curled up under whatever blanket Kasper has thrown over them. Kasper would bring in a small carrying tray with drinks and some … boyfriend acceptable snacks. 

OOOFT. I do love a physical job plot like this 👀
